He had spoken with Windrider about what exactly was going on in the village

They were questions from Evergreen

So that had meant she was back

He had gotten stuck as the dragon to tell Evergreen's group what was going on regularly

He saw a lavender purple female Rosewing come up to him

"Hello are you a part of this rebellion Evergreen is in charge" she asked

"There's a what now?!" Mushroom replied

"So the rumors aren't true and Evergreen is not starting a rebellion against Fern" she asked

"Y-Yeah they aren't" Mushroom answered

"If she dose say I Lilac am with her" Lilac told him

And she walked off

What did she listen to all the rumors going around with everything that would happen

She turned her head back. And said as tho she read his mind

"If your wondering I try and fugue out which rumors are ture and which are false cause I don't live in the village" Lilac told him

Then she turned back and walked out of the village

She is a dragon on our side

Maybe he could start gathering dragons to his and his sisters side and be a secret spy for Evergreen's side since Fern had such a liking to him

So they could push against her without Fern knowing, I know Milkweed well refuse to join her side due to her friendship with Fern

Windrider had said he'd come every few days so he could update Evergreen on what's going on

Fern came out of her house

She looked ruffled by whatever she had been doing

"You okay Fern?" He asked

"Yeah I am fine" Fern answered

She smiled and she walked off

He turned and walked off towards his own home

She had been arguing with Kagalay and Ash quite a bit lately

Kagalay ran up to him

"Hi how are you?" Kagalay asked

"I'm doing well" Mushroom answered

"Evergreen is back but she is not allowed in the village anymore Fern's orders" Mushroom told her

"I hope she's okay" Kigelia replied

"Same" he aggred

"But I'm thinking about finding dragons that well help Evergreen stop Fern's rule" Mushroom told her

"Me and my family well be willing to help my father has been getting into a Lot of arguments lately" Kigelia replied

"That would bring me up to four dragons cause I had another Rosewing offer to help" Mushroom said

"Oh that's great!" Kigelia replied

"I know" he aggred

She was always so nice to him all the time...she was so great

"So do you have any plans against Fern yet?" Kigelia asked

"No I don't have any plans yet" Mushroom answered

"but I'm mostly waiting for Windrider's next update time" he added

"Well I'm going to tell my parents about the Rosewings who are against Fern's rule over the tribe. Bye" Kigelia told him

And she walked away to find her parents

He flicked his tail to say bye and he smiled

He was going to tell Evergreen about the dragons who want to rebel against Fern as soon possible

So he decided he'd instead go out for a walk

Fern ran up to walk beside him

"Going out for a walk?" She asked

"Yeah I was why?" Mushroom answered

"Can I come?" Fern asked

"I think I wanna walk alone right now" he answered

"Oh...okay. Maybe we can do something together later" Fern replied

And Fern walked off

He knew she had feelings for him but he just didn't feel the same

He flicked his tail and continued on

He was going to be searching for Evergreen and he didn't want Fern to fugue out where Evergreen was staying at

He was pretty sure he had saw a few cats on the island tho never any that close together

He was rustling the leafs as he walked

He looked around to see if he could spot Evergreen anywhere, but so far he had no luck on finding her yet

He guessed that Evergreen would go somewhere abandoned and sheltered

Then he had a idea the mushroom cave she could be there

It was somewhere he could guess her to be

So he walked towards the beach

He wanted to see his sister anyway it had been a while

He dropped down onto the beach in front of the mushroom cave

He turned and saw his sister coming out

"Hey I wanted to find and see you cause I just couldn't help it" he told her

"I was wondering how long it would take for you to come find me cause just wanted to see me so bad" she replied and smiled

"Also there are dragons who are against Fern's rule" he informed her

"Really already?"

He nodded

"Yeah Kigelia and her parents and then a Rosewing known as Lilac" He told her

"I know Lilac I met her while I was out with Lichen" Evergreen commented

"Well Lichen disappeared out of the village no one knows where he went" Mushroom told her

She let out a startled gasp

There was a pause between them

"That is quite surprising and it's probably about as surprising as my journey to find the other Prophecy creatures" Evergreen replied

"Really what happened out there?" He asked

"Well...we have been followed from the arctic islands" Evergreen started

"Why?" He asked

"No idea also King Crow died while we where trying to help him and his tribe get back to the Featherscale island ruins. And we had to fake a few visions to get our Swiftclaw PhasesStripe to join us" Evergreen explained

"I hope they can grow stronger then ever under king Swoop" he replied

"Or find a Peaceful way to end the war" Evergreen put in

"That is true and that could be better ending than a big battle that would cost life's" Mushroom aggred

"I hope that's how the war ends I'd rather not have more life's be taken by this war" Evergreen replied

"I should probably get back to the village bye" Mushroom told her

"Bye!" She replied

And he walked back to the Rosewing village

He didn't want to risk Fern changing her mind about going out alone and finding where Evergreen was staying and making her leave the island

He walked along the overgrown path back to the village

They had only abandoned the mushroom cave a few years ago and yet the path had overgrown quickly, tho plants do spread quick here quicker then anywhere else tho that is probably because of the Rosewings that lived all around the island

Evergreen may have stayed close to the village but he had wandered around quite a bit so he knew that his tribe was way bigger then Evergreen had ever realized

He walked into the village

Fern looked over smiled and came over

"Hi how are you?" She asked

"I'm doing well" Mushroom answered

He pushed up his glasses from where they were starting to fall down

"So is there anything you want to do with me?" Fern asked

"Well what do you want to do?" He replied

"I know something follow me" Fern told him and beckoned him with her tail

And he followed her back out of the Rosewing village

Where was she taking him? Was this somewhere she'd confess her love for him again

"So where are we going exactly?" Mushroom asked

"Just trust me" Fern replied brushing his question away

He sighed

She was being secretive and it was annoying he just wanted to know

And then Fern brought them into a glade full of flowers

She turned around and smiled at him

He stared

"What..." he asked

"It's beautiful isn't it?" Fern asked him

"Y-Yeah" he answered

He was surprised with this he didn't know how to react to this

She sat down in the flowers her deep green scales glittered in the sunlight, she beckoned over to sit beside her

He walked slowly over to her and sat down

She stretched out a wing and laid it over his back

"The sun is burning my back and I didn't want it to burn your back to" She explained why she had did it

"That's very nice of you" he replied

Maybe even if he didn't want to be mate's with her maybe they could be friends

He let himself relax beside her

His legs were tired from all the walking he had done today

Tho he had also learned a lot with where his sister was and dragons against Fern's rule

"Isn't this glade amazing?" Fern asked

"Yes it is" he answered her

They sat there together in the glade for a while

"I need to go deal with some of my work before I go to sleep" Mushroom told her

"Can I walk you home?" Fern asked

"Sure" he accepted

And they walked back to the village together

Fern when she wasn't against the other misfits shecould be a great friend

"So I have a question" he stated

"What's the question?" Fern asked

"Why are you so against the misfits?" He replied

"I just don't like how odd they look" Fern answered

"And that's a reason to kick them out of the village?" Mushroom asked

"And they always seem to act like their better then everybody cause they look different" Fern added

"Not all of them me and Evergreen don't and Milkweed and her family don't either so you can't judge all of the misfits on a few of them" he told her

"I'll try and remember that" Fern replied

And they walked into the village

She left him shortly after she brought him to his house

He climbed up the stairs the first few were stone then moved to vines and bark that had naturally fell off the trees then it mixed with branches before it came to the porch which used the same things as the higher stairs

He turned his head back he saw dragons resting under the evertree, it was a common spot that friends to spend time at

He turned back and he opened the door, the marks on his talons glowed green when he used his ability to open the door

And he walked inside

He went straight for his room

It was a cluttered mess

His sister was the one who did all the cleaning around the house but left his room for him to deal with but if she felt like she really wanted to clean he'd find his room cleaned for him

He had papers all across the floor his plants growing on his windowsill that had way overgrown and he had little treasures of his on his desk and a lot more papers left around

And those papers were filled with his work

He was working on going through all the massive events that happened over the time his tribe had been on Plaera, he had been trying to fugue out where they had came from and why they had left?

He just enjoyed looking through them and some of them were notes on what he had learned

And he had plants completely covering the walls about as crazy as Lichen's room sounded to be like

He sat down and began to work at some of his research on the history of Plaera

He so far hadn't found out why they had moved to Plaera

He was wondering if they even still had anything from before they moved here cause he knew they had moved to Plaera he had figured that much out

He sighed as he rested his head on his talons

He had been having multiple days at a time where he had no luck on all his research which he would always do when he had time

He got up and walked to his bed, it was a hammock filled with feathers and soft plants and shed fur from creatures

He climbed up into his bed curling himself up

He should probably clean his room up, he would never get it clean if he just left it like this so he'd clean it tomorrow

And he drifted off to sleep

He was heading out of the house

He needed more food he was running low

They had supplies of food under the Evertree

He collected a few small baskets of fruit and vegetables for himself

And he walked back to his house to put the food away

He reached up and put the food into some of the cabinets

He was heading out to spend some time with a few of his friends

He walked out to see Kigelia again

She was in another argument with Fern

"Hey what's going on?" He asked

The duo both looked over

"She is trying to make me join the council" Kigelia answered

"Your a smart dragon and I want smart dragons" Fern told Kigelia

"Fern you should let Kigelia make her own choices" Mushroom told Fern

Fern looked angry about what he had said

"I'm supposed to be the Queen but no one listens to me" she growled as she stalked off

Well maybe if you were making good choices as a leader just maybe you'll have the support of your tribe he thought

"Thanks for that" Kigelia thanked him

She came over and lay her head on her shoulder smiling

She was happy with him

She lifted her head again

"Your amazing Mushroom" Kigelia told her

"I hope I can help you more" Mushroom replied

"Tho I'm going to head off bye" Kigelia replied

And she walked off

Evergreen was right he did quite like Kigelia but he wouldn't admit it to her and he meant his sister

He replied to her with a flick of his tail

He would tell her how she felt...later

He turned to head back to his house to do a bit more work

He found a book in his piles of stuff it was very old, older then anything he had found before

He began flipping through the book he paused at the last written in page of the book

prince Oak alive Bamboo alive flower died Cosmos died Poisonivy died Queen Berry alive 'edit' died

These told who died in a battle

But Oak that was the father to Creepvine one of there past kings and the brother to the mysterious Queen Lily

But almost every Rosewing from the battle died and that was the worrying thing

Who would they have been fighting he wondered

He hoped he could fugue out more about this bit of history and what they had been fighting but it must have been something dangerous

And how did this Queen Berry die? This new discovery brought so many questions that he hoped that he could get the answers to these questions

He grabbed one of his papers of notes and wrote down about his questions

What killed Queen Berry and the others? Were the Rosewings fierce before they came to Plaera? How did Queen Berry die?

He set the paper of notes onto one of his stacks of papers of notes

And began to clean up his room

Cleaning up his notes from around the room

He really needed something to put the papers in they were stacking up high across his desk

He'd need to return some of this stuff to the library well the stuff he was done with Forest their librarian said he could keep it as long as he'd need it for

He walked back out to go see Milkweed with her dragonets
