She felt something thump against her chest

She looked down to see it was Cod

"I have a problem I don't know how to deal with" he yelped

"What's that" she asked

"I like him" Cod answered

His tail was pointing at a TideStream healer named Softshell

She had been suspecting that he had feelings for male dragons instead of females

"Er sorry I've never felt that kind of way for anyone so I can't help you" she told him

Cod looked down

"Oh.....okay" Cod replied

She had pretty much ignored the other conversation but she decided to focus on it

"Who is Fern exactly?" Robin asked

"A Rosewing who hates the odd looking Rosewings...well most of them she seems to love my brother" Evergreen answered

"And we need to go deal with this for the good of my tribe" Evergreen added

"Sorry Cod I gotta go" Aquamarine told him

And they took off flying to the Rosewing island

They landed down on the island

A Rosewing came out, her scales were a deepish green and she had a even deeper green underbelly her eyes were a light green and she had what looked like a sunflower on her head

"Evergreen you weren't here when stuff changed but misfits are no longer allowed in the village" she told Evergreen

"Incorrect you let Mushroom and Milkweed and her dragonets in the village" another Rosewing argued

"Bloom I decide the rules" she growled

"But Fern it's fair and that's other dragons we want" Bloom replied

"The FeatherStream war isn't fair is it" Fern asked

"And dragons don't want it" Bloom argued

This Rosewing was giving good points

"She is right nobody wants the FeatherStream war anymore" Robin put in

"Yeah the two of you are right" Aquamarine aggred

Fern shot her head over to look at her and Robin

Confusion clouded her gaze

"Aren't you two supposed to be at war with one another?" Fern asked

"We are but the two of us made peace with each other" Aquamarine answered

"And that proves that we can stop the FeatherStream war if a distrustful Featherscale and grumpy teasing Tidestream can become friends" Robin added

She shot a quick glare at the Featherscale caretaker

Who is she calling grumpy

"Hmff Evergreen still isn't allowed in the village" Fern growled

Evergreen turned her head back

Sadness lay in her eyes

"Come on let's go Fern has made up her mind and there's no getting her to change her mind" Evergreen told the group

The kind Rosewing was obviously upset due to being literally kicked out of her home

Windrider chirped something to Evergreen

"It's a good idea but I don't want to over crowd them" Evergreen replied to Windrider

He chirped something else

They were walking out of the Rosewing village

"Yeah it would be pretty hard to sleep with all the birds there" Evergreen aggred with whatever Windrider had said

She continued to chat with Windrider

A deep green Rosewing with mint horns and a red flower on his head dropped down from a tree and walked beside her

"You'll get used to it...eventually she sometimes forgets other dragons can't understand him tho" He spoke to her as tho she was an old friend

Evergreen whipped her head around

"Dad?"

If he is her dad he looks nothing like her

"Hey Ever" he replied

"Your quite a distance from you and moms house" Evergreen commented

"I know" he aggred

"Tho it's probably the best if I introduce myself I'm Leafstalk I'm Ever and Mushroom's father" he introduce himself

She had heard Evergreen speak about a brother named Mushroom

"Hey Ever have you heard about what's going on at the village" Leafstalk asked

"Yeah I know Fern has banished all misfits" Evergreen answered

The Rosewings were all looked quite unique despite them all some color of green having green

Leafstalk stretched his wings out

"I hope we can we get her to change her mind" Leafstalk commented

PhasesStripe sniffed the air

"I smell another dragon" PhasesStripe spoke

"Evea!" A dragonet ran out yelling

"Hey Fungus did you run off from your parents" Evergreen asked the dragonet

"Maybe" he replied

Then he leapt away from Evergreen and dashed off

"I'll go after him I know his parents" Leafstalk said before he ran after the little dragonet

Evergreen turned her head back to the group

"Let's go find the other misfits" Evergreen suggested

"Lead the way" PermaFrost replied

He seemed pretty annoyed by the undergrowth that he kept getting his horns caught on the vines

They walked on until yet another Rosewing leapt from the a tree

"So why are there a group of random dragons walking through the forest?" She asked

This Rosewing was a forest green and she had a four leafed clover on her head and she had amber eyes

"Why are you so curious?" Aquamarine asked

This Rosewing seemed to eye ShadowSeeker

"Are you ShadowSeeker the prophecyr apprentice" she asked

"How do you know me" ShadowSeeker replied

"I have a friend who knows you" She replied

"Oh and I'm Cloverlily" She introduced herself

"I don't think I've even seen you before" Evergreen replied

"Yeah cause I don't often come to the village" Coverlily explained

"And you know I'm not the only one right there's this couple and a female Rosewing named Lilac" Coverlily added

Then Coverlily leapt back into the trees

"I know of somewhere nice to make a camp so let's go" Evergreen told them

And they were continuing on this time towards the edge of the island

They leapt down onto the beach and Evergreen led them into a cave

"How are we going to keep light my flashlight is pretty much just a jar of fireflys that can darken" Niea asked

Tho Evergreen had already disappeared into the darkness

"And she walked off" Niea sighed

And a green glow was coming from the darkness

Evergreen came out with a jar of glowing mushrooms

"Luminescent mushrooms my tribe used to make so many shards just on them but dragons lost interest in tending to them and harvesting them" Evergreen informed them

"So your tribe likes glowing mushrooms?" PermaFrost asked

"Used to yep" Evergreen answered

And she set the jar of mushrooms on the ground the light green glow slightly brightened the area

Tho it was only enough to see what they were doing in the shadows

She sat on a little distance away from her group of friends

"So how is Princey doing" She asked the Winterhorn prince

He only growled at her in response

"Not my name" he growled to her

Dose he notice that I tease him more then anyone else? She wondered

"I'm going out for a swim" she announced and walked out

Then she walked out with Seafoam at her tail

"I'm coming too" he told her

"Alright then come" Aquamarine replied and flicked her tail

She always enjoyed the little Aquakittys company, even if they would argue sometimes

Seafoam dashed forward running right into the high tide and spraying his face, he let out a startled mrow of surprise

She giggled over his surprise that it happened

"Stop laughing at me" he growled

"It was funny tho" she replied

He slashed water at her but she used her water movement ability to splash it back at him

He glared at her. "What was that for" he growled

"You tryed to splash me" Aquamarine answered

And she leapt over him and into the water, her talons thumped against the sand under the water

She dashed deeper into the water

And her and Seafoam swam around for a while

Where they were swimming at was a coral reef, fish swam quickly away from them as they swam around

She flicked her tail around to keep herself from sinking further down, she had paused there to wait for Seafoam to catch up

Seafoam came out of behind a large bit of coral

She grabbed him and raced back to the surface launching them up landing on the beach

"Let me go" Seafoam complained

She dropped onto the beach and walked into the cave as he scrambled up and ran after her

PermaFrost and PhasesStripe were chatting happily again

"Hi Princey" she greeted him

He glared at her

"I have told you so many times to not call me that" he replied

"Why it's such a nice nickname" Aquamarine asked

"Because you know he hates it" PhasesStripe answered

And they should learn I like to tease them she thought

She sat down on PermaFrost's other side

She had obviously annoyed him for coming to sit on the other side of him

She lay her wing over his back and she got a angry growl

"Get your wing off me" Permafrost growled to her

"Why you looked cold" she replied

"I'm a Winterhorn I naturally look cold" he yelled

"What I didn't realize that" Aquamarine said sarcastically

She was just mainly doing it to annoy him

"Why don't you get your wing off him now" PhasesStripe asked

"Eh...I'm already comfortable" Aquamarine replied

He glared at her

"Why are you constantly annoying him?" Seafoam asked

"Because it's funny" she answered

"It seems like your only making him hate you" Seafoam replied

Deep down PermaFrost likes me I know that or he wouldn't have came and cuddled with her when they were back on the Swiftclaw island

Then she began to wonder how Minnow was doing and how much Dew was annoying her due to him never obeys his captains orders

She felt ice begin to grow over her wing

She pulled her wing away and stared at the ice on her wing

How on the islands of Plaera did this happen? She wondered

She wished she could have helped Cod with his crush but she hadn't experienced anything like it

"Good you've gotten your wing off me now" PermaFrost growled

"Your scales froze ice on my wing" She shot back

"Well I still got you off me" Permafrost replied

"Whatever Princey"

PermaFrost hit her with his tail

"Oww what was that for?" Aquamarine yelped

"Don't call me that" PermaFrost told her

"whatever my little icey prince" Aquamarine replied

Which earned her another thwack for PermaFrost's tail he gave a hard glare before turning back to talk with PhasesStripe again

Windrider sat on Evergreen's shoulder cleaning his wings

He chirped to Evergreen

"That's a really good idea" Evergreen aggred with what he said

And he took off and flew out of the cave

"Where's he going?" PhasesStripe asked

"He's going to meet with my brother to see what exactly is going on in the village" Evergreen answered

"Oh like a secret message system" Aquamarine exclaimed

She lay down still beside PermaFrost her tail curled around him

She was just comfortable being herself around him not just a hidden kind of self she was around with like Dew or other tribes...but she had grown to be her normal self around the dragons she was currently with

She closed her eyes and fell asleep with her friends around her to wake up later

Lichen

He saw Windrider flying through the forest

He must be hunting before heading to the market island to watch for Evergreen to return

He watched tho he still lay in his bed in Lilacs home

Last night the two of them lay out on a edge watching the sunset, he had informed her he didn't need to see to tell she was beautiful

He heard Lilacs talon steps coming towards his room

"Hey you awake?" Lilac asked

"Yeah I've just been using my plantseeing to watch what's going on around the village" Lichen answered

And he got up and stretched

And he gave his wings a few flaps to stretch them before folding them against his sides again

"I've heard dragons talking about how Evergreen is back not sure if it's true" Lilac told him

"I'll see if it's true" he replied

"Of course she wouldn't be in the village" Lilac added

He used the plantseeing to search the island, he eventually found her gathering some wild fruit

He brought himself back to the house

"The rumors are correct she is back" Lichen told her

"that's good to know" Lilac replied

"I'm going to guess that Evergreen is going to be doing something about it" Lichen said

"If what you said about her personality then your probably right" Lilac aggred

She flicked her tail in a from of saying bye

"Bye"

And then she walked out of his room

He walked out of the room to go get something to eat

He walked into the kitchen

He sliced some fruit and prepared a bit of vegetables

And went and sat down and ate his food

Lilac was letting him stay tho she wasn't used to having company

He took a short walk in the area around the house

Before walking back inside the house

His plantseeing was something that came naturally to him he never really stopped using it but he would move it to look around the island, tho I could see that plantseers not having for not being blind

He was going back to his room to sit down, he was going to use his plantseeing to fugue out more about Evergreens ideas for plans

He found her and followed her through the forest and to a cave on the beach and he moved his view to through a bit of moss

He saw a bunch of different tribes at least one of every tribe

It looked as tho their Winterhorn and Tidestream were arguing about who knows what. Later on Windrider flew in and landed on a jar of glowing mushrooms

He chirped to Evergreen

"So right now this Mushroom and Milkweed are the only Rosewing misfits currently in your village but this Lichen is allowed to go back" the Featherscale asked

"Yeah that's what it sounds like" Evergreen replied

He brought his vision back to the house

He had vines across the room growing over the floor roof and the walls they all grew towards his bed, it was similar to the one he had in his home with Fern

He had his tail curled around his talons

He wondered what was currently on at the village today

He stretched his wings out

He wasn't sure he had ever flown before due to being blind

Then he moved his plantseeing to the village so he could see what was happening there

He found Fern talking with Ash and Kigelia

"I'm a healer not a council dragon" Kigelia argued with what Fern had said

"I refuse to let you force my daughter into anything" Ash told Fern

"And I'm Queen and you'll do what I say" Fern growled

"And we refuse Fern" Ash argued

"No good leader forces their subjects to do stuff they don't want to do" Kigelia put in

"Yeah that's no-" Fern began

"If you want to know leadership works ask the last king of the Rosewings" Ash interrupted

That quieted Fern

Then she glared and stalked off

"Why is she being so mean recently" Kigelia asked

"I don't know my little flower" Ash answered, and Ash layd a wing over her back. She slipped out of under his wing

"Dad! I'm not little no more" Kigelia replied

"You'll always be my little flower in my eyes" Ash told her

He gave her a warm smile before he pulled her into a hug

He pulled his vision away from them

He didn't want to easedrop on the moment between them more then he already did so instead he followed Fern to see where she was going

She went inside their home and to her room She had a new small flower on her desk

She was researching more on Ginger

A while back he learned that Ginger was Lilac's mother and he had killed her

"Come on she had a dragonet where did they go?" Fern growled

Why was she looking for Lilac he wondered was it to get rid of her?

He decided he'd ask her so he grew out vines to spell

'why'

Fern looked up and noticed she looked around to see who did it before she asked

"Why what?"

He grew out more vines to spell

'look for them' under why

"Why look for them because I can't let a dragon as evil as Ginger stay around" she answered

He changed the vines to spell 'their not like her'

"How would you know" Fern asked

'I have been living with them'

"Ugh I'm sounding like a complete idiot talking to the air" Fern complained

She hadn't his new message yet

And he stretched out a vine to poke her

Her head shot up and she saw the new message

"Oh..."

Fern was quiet from there before she asked

"Who are you anyway?"

And he answered 'a Rosewing'

"That doesn't answer my question" Fern growled

But he left. He went and found Lilac

"Dose it break the rule of going to village of use my plant abilities to talk someone well I'm in my room?" Lichen asked

"No I won't count that" Lilac answered

"Who did you talk to anyway?" Lilac asked

"Fern was looking for you without realizing she was so I asked why and kept it vague" Lichen answered

"Ah okay so she only knows my mother had me but..." Lilac began

"But she doesn't know what gender you are so I referred to you as they and she thinks your just like your mother set on your plans" Lichen replied

"I am like her in that way it's just my plans aren't bad" Lilac aggred

There was a pause in the conversation then like both of them weren't sure what to say next

"So...now what" Lilac asked

"I'm not sure I was mostly coming to tell you about what I found out about what Fern is doing" he replied

"Ah okay. I think I'm going to head out to collect some fruit I'll be back soon" Lilac told him

"Okay bye" Lichen replied

And Lilac walked out
