She knew ShadowSeeker told her to take her time

But she had to train her abilities

The wind flowed around her tho just for a moment before she lost control once again

I have to train harder

Tho maybe it's not my skill and it's my focus instead

And I should probably get back to camp before the others worry about me

She stood up and began to walk back to camp

The two mane things StormTalons do are control whether and fly and I can only do one of those things she thought

The breeze rustled the leafs above her and sent kinda a calm feeling over her

Whether always has given StormTalons calming sensations when there in it she thought to herself

She snapped twigs here and there

She walked into the clearing to see

Aquamarine and PermaFrost arguing about who knows what

She turned to Robin and asked

"How long have they been at it?" Gale asked

"I don't just since he came back soaking wet and moody as heck" Robin answered

ShadowSeeker walked over

"It is just about her nickname for him" he told them

"Yeah Princey is moody" Aquamarine aggred

"For the last time don't call me that" PermaFrost yelled

"Ooo I got him to yell" Aquamarine commented

"That is not something to be proud of" Gale and Robin told her in unison

She stretched her wings out wide

PermaFrost walked out of the clearing

His tail flicked back and forth in irritation as he left

I wonder how we will be after all this

"Hey Gale I'm heading out to see if I can find where our prophecy Swiftclaw has ran off to wanna join me?" Evergreen offered

"Sure" Gale answered

And the two of them walked out of the clearing and out of the forest

"So dose that mean you've met them already?" Gale asked

"Yeah I and her name is PhasesStripe" Evergreen answered

Most Swiftclaws seem to have speed related names like Speedsting or Quickblast or even Flash

But some some didn't like the king and queen being Acacia and Leopard

She stared up at the bright blue sky it was nearly cloudless. It looked like to would be amazing to fly in

She brought her eyes back to the ground then over to Evergreen

She didn't seem to care that she couldn't control whether to well

Tho she could do small things like redirecting wind but that took a lot of focus and she wasn't really too good at the whole focus thing

"You know we've haven't really had any time to talk since we started this trip" Gale commented

"Yeah we really haven't" Evergreen aggred

Aquamarine and Seafoam seem to be having quite a few fights recently

"You know Swiftclaws seem to be a lot like cheetahs" Evergreen commented

And they fell into another silence except for their footsteps taping against the ground

"You know we could fly over the island and if we see a Swiftclaw we can fly down and ask them if they know PhasesStripe" Gale suggested

Tho it also excuse to get to fly again

"You know that's a good idea" Evergreen aggred

And so the two of them took and flew over the island scanning for Swiftclaws that would be out at this time

Do they spend all day out running and in the daylight? She wondered

"Hey Gale remember I don't have as large wings as you" Evergreen called from behind her

She turned her head back to see Evergreen was a distance back

She slowed her flight down a bit so Evergreen could catch up

"Sorry I guess I'm pretty used to flying fast when I'm with one other dragon" Gale apologized

"It's alright" Evergreen replied

She spotted a Swiftclaw down on the island

She pointed them out to Evergreen and they flew down to ask them if they knew PhasesStripe

They landed down

"Hi I'm Gale this is my friend Evergreen we're wondering if we could ask you a question" Gale introduced them

"I'm Speedsting and yeah you can" Speedsting replied

"We were wondering if you know a Swiftclaw known as PhasesStripe?" Gale asked

His expression turned almost wistful

"Yes I know her though my daughter has never been a talkative dragon tho so I doubt you'll be able to chat with her" Speedsting answered.

"Do you know where she might be or live so we can find her" Gale asked

"I wish but she is a free roaming Swiftclaw doesn't have a home" Speedsting answered

"Thanks anyway" Gale thanked him

"Why are you looking for her anyway?" Speedsting asked

"She's a part of a Prophecy" Evergreen answered

"A what...no Prophecies and prophecyrs don't exist silly" Speedsting replied

Evergreen must not have knew that they don't believe in prophecyrs and prophecy's

Evergreen looked shocked

"You believe they are don't you?" Speedsting asked

"Yeah we do and it's our opinion" Gale answered

"Yes and it's my opinion that I don't" Speedsting replied

And he left them

"So how are we going to get PhasesStripe to join us if Swiftclaws don't believe in Prophecy's?" Evergreen asked

"I don't know actually" Gale answered

Evergreen sighed then they both took back off

"My wings are going to be so sore after all this" Evergreen said

"Yeah probably" Gale agreed.

Then she looped around Evergreen

"What are you doing?" Evergreen asked

"Flying duh" Gale answered

"No I mean why were you looping around me" Evergreen replied

"cause I could" Gale answered

Gale grinned after answering the question

"Come on let's head back to camp" Evergreen suggested

And they both flew back to camp playing around with each other as they flew

And they ended up starting a game of tag

Which she was currently it and Evergreen was very good at dodging her attempts to tag her

"Wait who's it?" Evergreen asked

Gale flew right up to Evergreen taping her chest

"You are" Gale answered

Then she flew off and towards there camp

She landed down grinning

About half a minute later Evergreen landed in too

"You are so fast" Evergreen told her

"I know all StormTalons are fast flyers" Gale replied

She stretched her wings in a wide arc before folded them on her back

The lighting bolt markings on her wings glowed for a second

Those shouldn't be glowing on there own she thought to herself

I'll have to ask Breeze about them glowing on there own when I get home.

"So what you decided to go for a fly after searching for them" Niea asked

"Yeah" Evergreen answered

PermaFrost was back tho he was curled tightly up on the opposite side of the clearing from Aquamarine

The sun was setting

"Why don't we get some sleep then head out to search for her again" Gale suggested to Evergreen

And so they both layd down and slept

When she awoke PermaFrost had moved and was now curled around Aquamarine

Oh that's sweet he wanted to make her comfortable

Aquamarine opened her eyes and saw PermaFrost

She looked surprised to see he had moved

Gale watched as Aquamarine tryed to slip herself away without waking PermaFrost up

She was unsuccessful he woke

"Good morning Aqua" PermaFrost growled

He rolled over so he was no longer laying on her tail

He clearly wasn't happy that she woke him up

She got up and stretched while PermaFrost went back to sleep

She noticed Robin ShadowSeeker and Evergreen were all curled up together

She got up and took a walk

She paused and tried to get the gentle breeze to blow around her horns

She was somewhat successful the wind blew past her horns tho not around them to stop them from getting chilled

Tho StormTalons had a pretty good tolerance for the cold from flying high in the sky where it was colder then anywhere else except for the arctic islands

And she continued walking

She heard the rustle of leaves and the sound of small creatures running through the forest as she walked

She sniffed the air

She could smell mice birds rabbits and other creatures

This forest obviously is quite a lot of creatures home she thought to herself

The StormTalons are the only creature on there island because there was not many plants

But honestly it could be nice if her island had plants and she had been considering taking Bloom up on her offer to grow plants for her

Bloom seems like a really great dragon

She turned and began her way back to the camp

Her talons making imprints on the ground where it was wet

Though it was probably from morning dew because it hadn't rained last night

She walked into the clearing

Evergreen and ShadowSeeker were still asleep tho it looked like they had curled closer then they were when she had went out for her walk

Though then again Robin had been in between them then and now she was up

She was cleaning her wings

"I swear they are going to be Lovebirds" Robin commented

"Why are you so confident about that" Aquamarine asked.

"They just really seem to like each other...similar to the way I like Swoop" Robin answered and she blushed

"I was pretty sure that there was something between the two of you" Aquamarine replied

"Just don't these me about it" Robin told Aquamarine

Robin seem to clean herself like a bird. So she had been pecking at her wing with her peaked mouth

It had gone quiet in the clearing until Aquamarine asked

"So what dose being a Lovebird mean for Featherscale's?"

"That you are together and love each other or at least that's how got it from Dove" Robin answered

She probably hadn't thought that they didn't know who this Dove was

ShadowSeeker raised his head

"Why are you talking about love?" ShadowSeeker asked

"No reason" Robin answered

"Well here's a reason Evergreen told me how her brother likes another Rosewing and he is unwilling to admit it" ShadowSeeker replied

"And your just giving that out like it's everybody's business" Gale asked

"She said only her brother couldn't know about what she said" ShadowSeeker answered

"Well what if you run into him and don't know and then tell him of what she said" Gale asked

ShadowSeeker went quiet for that

"I guess you have a point" ShadowSeeker replied

She noticed PermaFrost stretching on the opposite side from her and everyone else

So Evergreen is the only one who is still asleep now

Actually Scratch that Niea was still asleep with Seafoam curled up on her chest

They were cute together. Evergreen was pulling a bit of fruit out of her ba.

Then she began to eat

She left the camp once more this time to hunt for some food

And she began sniffing the air for traces of small prey she could catch

It seems like prey is the same size for all creatures but fruit depends on where it grows or something

She thought about this for a while and realized

The Rosewings must have there own kind of fruits that are dragon sized and the humans have sizes for themselves

I wonder if it had always been this way or was it different in the past

Then she caught a strange sent. It was some creature

She began to track it

She found it a little while later

She wasn't sure what they were

They had tan body's long horns and hoofed feet and they seemed to be herd animals

She spotted one grazing a little away from the rest

She took advantage of that and began to prowl closer to it

Despite dragons being one of the largest creatures around Plaera they still had to sneak up on there prey

She leapt up zipping forward landing a top the creature

It leapt up despite having a dragon on it's back

It must have gotten its strength from carrying those horns around

She bit down on the creatures neck

Giving it a killing bite

The creatures herd had ran off without it's herd-mate

She began to eat

It was good whatever it was

Once she finished all she could eat

Which was a good amount of it

She returned to there camp

"Ready to continue searching for PhasesStripe?" Evergreen asked

"Yeah I am ready" Gale replied

And the two of them walked out of the clearing and out of the forest

The summer breeze seemed to blow warmer on the Swiftclaw island then it did on her own island

Tho that was probably because it was a warmer island

She wanted to take to the sky's again but today it seemed like they were just walking

"You wanna fly again don't you?" Evergreen asked

"Yeah" she answered

She stretched her wings out wide

"Tho it's mostly because all StormTalons like to fly a lot" Gale told her

"Yeah I've seen quite a few StormTalons flying over my island" Evergreen replied

She folded her wings back across her back and let them more hang loosely

"So wanna take to the sky's?" Evergreen asked

"I'd love to" Gale answered

Then she shot herself up into the beautiful blue sky

With Evergreen flapping hard behind her to catch up

She looked down to the island

It looked as tho most Swiftclaws were out but not moving around all that much

She glided a bit down to get a closer look

She saw that the Swiftclaws stripes were glowing and they were resting instead of running

I wonder what this is all about?

Evergreen caught up with her

"What are they doing" She asked

"No clue" Gale replied

They glided down to one

They had been asleep

And they didn't look happy to have been woken up by there wing beats

She got up

"You again" she growled

"Don't you know not to wake dragons up when their sleeping" she asked

"We didn't realize you were asleep we're sorry" Evergreen replied

"Whatever now let me sleep" She growled

She really isn't one for being nice is she? Gale wondered

The Swiftclaw layd back down and closed her eyes clearly going back to sleep

The two of them walked a little ways away

"That was PhasesStripe" Evergreen told Gale

"She didn't seem very nice" Gale commented

"Well did PermaFrost?" Evergreen asked

"I guess that's true" Gale replied

PhasesStripe raised her head and glared at them

"Uh PhasesStripe could we ask what you Swiftclaws are doing?" Evergreen asked

"We are getting energy into our phasesing stripes what else do you think we're doing" PhasesStripe replied

She seems to be way more grumpy then PermaFrost was

"Why are you even here?" PhasesStripe asked

"We're here to find a Swiftclaw for a prophe-" Evergreen answered

"Prophecy's don't exist" PhasesStripe interrupted then she stalked off

This is going to be so much harder then we thought

"We did not start that very well" Evergreen said

"Definitely not" Gale aggred

"Her father seemed so different from her he was kind and she is very grumpy" Evergreen commented

"Well we're going to have to figure out a unique way to get her to join us" Gale replied

"Yeah I guess we well have to" Evergreen sighed

"but that doesn't mean it's going to be easy" Evergreen said

And they began there way back to there camp

Tho all dragons are different so there is a good point to Speedsting and PhasesStripe being so different

And she had been different from her mother who enjoyed just staying on the island well I like to adventure

The island seems like it's home to more savanna animals not every creature she recognized

Niea was playing with Seafoam and ShadowSeeker Robin and Aquamarine were talking

"Hey Gale, Ever" Niea said

"Hey Niea how are ya" Gale asked

"I'm doing well how about you" Niea replied

"I am doing good too" Gale answered

"Murrow" Seafoam mowed in annoyance

He seemed to be mad that she stopped playing

This meow caused Aquamarine to turn her head to see why Seafoam was upset

"Oh quit complaining Seafoam she can stop when she wants to stop" Aquamarine told him

"Raow" Seafoam replied

"Yes she really can" Aquamarine said

"Rraaow" Seafoam mowed in frustration

"Just come here" Aquamarine replied

He walked over to her and plopped down on Aquamarine's tail meowing in frustration or that's what she thought he was doing

"Your back" ShadowSeeker commented

"Yeah we are" Evergreen replied

Robin had been right there was something between them

Evergreen had walked over and sat next to ShadowSeeker and she was smiling quite brightly

She sat down

She was going to fugue out a way to get PhasesStripe to join them

Maybe some sort of way to get her to believe prophecy's do exist

And she began to think of different ways to make her believe

Niea had Seafoam on her lap now and was petting him

Robin flapped her wings a few times to keep um awake cause sleeping wings were never fun

Aquamarine Robin ShadowSeeker and Evergreen were discussing how to get PhasesStripe to join them

And she had an idea

They could fake a prophecy or vision and then PhasesStripe would have to believe them....right?

"Hey I have an idea" Gale told them

And she walked over to tell them

"So your idea is?" Robin asked

"that we fake a vision to PhasesStripe to get her to believe us that prophecy's visions and Prophecyrs do indeed exist" Gale answered

"That's a good idea" Robin commented

"it just may work" Aquamarine aggred

"Let me guess I'm faking the vision?" The others shook there heads to Evergreen's question "I'm kidding I know ShadowSeeker is going to be the one to fake it" Evergreen told them

"We just have to fugue out what this vision is going to be about" ShadowSeeker said

"Yeah that's true" Gale aggred

Then a sharp mrow came from Seafoam

She turned her head to see it had actually been Niea mowed and she was mimicking Seafoam

"Did.....did you just mimic Seafoam?" Aquamarine asked

Tidestream's had never heard or seen mimic animals except for sea creatures like cuddle fish or creatures that could change there colors
