Aquamarine had took Niea to get her things from her home island. She had convinced Seafoam to stay here though.

We have been waiting for everyone to be back together for ShadowSeeker to make his final decision.

"So afterwards where do you think we should head next?" I ask.

"We could do the Winterhorn's, get the cold place out of the way quick." Gale suggests

"How would we keep warm though." I wonder.

"We could dress warm." Windrider suggests.

Seafoam is asleep on my lap

"Honestly I think after we get all our group together we should tackle the FeatherStream war first." Gale states

I shift my position causing Seafoam to wake. "I want to sleep" Seafoam complains.

Aquamarine walks in with Niea riding on her back.

"Your back!" I smile.

Seafoam lets out a long drawn-out meow of frustration clearly trying to use that to get us to shut up.

"He does that to Minnow sometimes when he doesn't want to wake up then he goes to flinging stuff at her" Aquamarine tells us.

And Seafoam grabbed a bit of leftover food from breakfast and flung it at Aquamarine

Aquamarine just stared for a moment. "Are you serious Seafoam!?"

"If you be quiet I'll answer that." Seafoam smirks.

"By the way who is Minnow?" ShadowSeeker asks.

"My sister who decided to abandon me to go home." Aquamarine lifted an talon to her head seeming to want to act dramatic.

"Your like the oldest dragon here why should you care?" Niea asked.

"You know I could splash you any time I want right?" Aquamarine asks.

"You have to have water with you." Gale puts in.

"She doesn't need to know that." Aquamarine yelps.

"Too late I know that." Niea smiles.

"Can't you just let a cat get a decent rest." Seafoam complained.

"You slept all night Seafoam your fine." Aquamarine glares down at the Aquakitty.

Later we head back down to the prophecyr's cave.

ShadowSeeker would swing his barbed tail back and forth as he walked.

Seafoam had refused to walk and instead he had laid down on Aquamarine's back flopped out to take up as much space as possible.

Fern

I had asked Mushroom to meet me here there is something I really must to tell him it is important for him to truly know how I feel about him.

He walked out of the forest and into the clearing.

His red and white scales glittered in the sunlight and his glasses that were tied to his horns shimmered in the light. He was beautiful and I hope he'll feel the same way for me, oh by the great  queen's past I really hope he feels the same.

"Well what is it" he asks giving me a small smile.

Here is the moment Oh stars let him feel the same about me please.

"So er I've umm always kinda loved you and uh had a crush so um Mushroom do you um feel the same" I ramble. The words just spilled out of me.

"Oh Fern I'm so sorry I..." he began. He looks down and starts to play with the council bracelet he wore. Oh by the stars this couldn't be happening could it?

"What...what's wrong?!" I ask taking a step towards him reaching a talon out.

"I just don't feel the same Fern. I really am sorry." He turns his gaze back to mine his eyes seem to glitter with sadness over having to deny my feelings for him.

"Oh..." I sigh.

"Uh alright that's fine its alright." My head droops towards the ground.

I had chose such a lovely little clearing to do this, pink and red flowers bloomed throughout this clearing and the trees cast the perfect amount of shade for it not to be overwhelmingly hot but our scales would still glitter. All just for my heart to be broken.

"Fern are you alright?" Mushroom asks me. I hadn't realized how close he had gotten, he was now right next to me. "Yeah...yeah I'm fine." I lie.

Evergreen

We sat around in the cavern ShadowSeeker was about to give us his answer on weather or not he was going to be joining us on our quest.

"I've really thought about it and I figure it must be the best thing for me to join you guys on this mission to save Palera." He states.

"That's amazing! Thank you ShadowSeeker!" I exclaim.

"Uh yeah your welcome." ShadowSeeker shrugs.

I notice that Niea has some paper out of her bag and was working on it.

"What's that your drawing?" I ask.

"Just work stuff, by the way do dragons have jobs?" Niea asks me.

"Yeah we dragons can have jobs I mean my brother is a part of a council on my island." I answer

"Well before I met you guys I thought dragons were just another creature in this world that they didn't have emotions or jobs or anything but now I know they have feelings and can write and do art and all this stuff." Niea said. "Though I think I may be the first human to be able to talk to an dragon."

"You just might be but who knows maybe there were others in the past." I shrug.

Seafoam had finished grooming himself and came over to me and Niea who had set down her sketchpad and pencil. Seafoam reached out and began to bat at the pencil.

"Hey quit it." Niea pushes him away and grabs the pencil.

"Pencils are not for playing with especially not for cats." Niea tells him.

"But it's fun to play with." Seafoam complained.

Then Seafoam pulled the pencil from Niea's hand and trotted over to Aquamarine and began to play with it.

Niea stared at Seafoam for an moment. "Seriously what is with cats and disobeying orders" Niea asks.

"Well it is because cats like to play with stuff." Aquamarine answers.

"And steal things he steals all of my stuff all the time." Aquamarine grumbles.

Down here I haven't even felt the slightest pull of any plants energy. It felt quite odd not to feel it now.

"I'm curious do any Cometflights take care of plants?" I ask.

"Some do but not many." ShadowSeeker answers

"We find it annoying to have to water plants every day." ShadowSeeker states.

Well it really does seem like only us Rosewings really want to care for plants, no other tribes seem interested in the idea.

"Some Tidestream's well care for the nearby coral reefs." Aquamarine states

"My group keeps some plants to turn into food and others to turn into healing items." Niea puts in. Seeming to not want to be left out of the conversation.

The humans are quite interesting and so maybe with this adventure together I can find out even more about them that no dragon had known before.

"Off topic question but what would happen if someone who wasn't a prophecyr tryed to see a prophecy?" I ask. It had been something that I found an interesting idea since I had learned ShadowSeeker was currently in training.

ForgottenMist looks over to me. "They would see random flashes of different things worse then when a prophecyr is first starting." ForgottenMist answers.

Prophecyrs have always been so mysterious maybe now we well finally get to understand them better.

Niea had walked over and took her pencil back from Seafoam which now he was trailing behind her.

"Seafoam she is not going to give you the pencil back so why don't you come back here and stop wasting your energy. " Aquamarine said.

"I want the thingy thing." Seafoam complained loudly.

"Too bad she's not going to give it to you." Aquamarine tells him.

Seafoam walks over to Aquamarine's tail and pounces onto it.

Aquamarine shifts her tail away from Seafoam but he only follows it and pounces again.

He grabs onto a fin on Aquamarine's tail and bites it.

"Seafoam stop it" Aquamarine yelps.

She lifts her tail into the air but Seafoam clings on. He hangs there his claws and teeth embedded in Aquamarine's tail.

"You never said I couldn't play with your tail." Seafoam replied

"That's true you never said anything about that." I agree with the small Aquakitty.

Aquamarine gives me an annoyed look.

"It's play with the tail or the thingy thing." Seafoam tells her.

"Well how about neither how does that sound, lovely yes I totally agree." Aquamarine responds.

"No that does not sound lovely that sound dumb and boring." Seafoam comments.

"Niea do you have any strings?" I ask

"Why?" Aquamarine turns her gaze to me.

"Oh I get it. Yeah I do here" Niea answers and pulls a string from her bag and hands it to me.

The perfect Seafoam distraction. I toss the string for him.

He jumps up and around trying to catch it as it drops.

"So you are using this string to distract Seafoam from attacking my tail." Aquamarine comments.

"Yeah it's the perfect distraction." I respond.

Seafoam was now batting the string

"It's not moving anymore." Seafoam complains.

"Because no one is holding it." I smile.

Gale gets up and stretches her wings out giving a small flap. It sends and small gust through the cavern.

"Wow your wings can get pretty stiff if you don't use them enough for a few days." Gale comments.

"You do realize it's only been a day right." Niea askes.

"Quiet I'm trying to guilt trip ShadowSeeker into leaving quicker." Gale hissed to Niea.

"I heard that" ShadowSeeker comments not raising his head to look over.

"Your fault." Gale said.

"So what guilt tripping rarely works." Niea replies.

"How do you know we're dragons your a human." Gale asked.

"Cause I doubt it'd be any different from dragons to humans or any other creature for that matter." Niea answered.

Gale and Niea continued to argue playfully for a while.

ShadowSeeker occasionally let out an amused snicker as the playful argument raged on.
