I apologise for taking this long time.

So finally we have winners here and Runner up of Contest is none other than

Her story is:

Brand new day. 

I won't waste today. 

Caroline promised herself that everyday, she wanted to live her life to fullest. Just because she was a vampire didn't mean that she should waste away her centuries. 

"Hey sweetie," said her mom as she came rushing down the stairs, "do you want some breakfast?"

"Can't mom," said Caroline as she grabbed a piece of toast that popped up out the toaster and bit into it. "I'm gonna be late for school."

"You still have twenty minutes and it only takes five to get to school," said her mom.

"Yeah but if I don't show up for the student council meeting that starts in ten minutes that'll be the end of my social life," said Caroline as she gave her mom a quick kiss on the check, grabbed her purse and ran out the door throwing a "Love you," over her shoulder.

Her mom chuckled to herself as she put another piece of bread in the toaster.

"Hey gorgeous," said Tyler as he kissed her passionately.

"Hey," smiled Caroline.

"What's up?" asked Tyler.

"Nothing," said Caroline,"it's just that my suggestion didn't go through in the council meeting. No one wanted to do another car wash."

"Too bad," said Tyler, "I would've loved to see half naked cheerleaders washing cars again."

Caroline lightly slapped his chest, "Tyler!"

He chuckled lightly, "Joke, it was a joke."

"Well it wasn't very funny," said Caroline. She got up on her tip toes and kissed Tyler. "Come on, we're gonna be late for class."

"Or we could skip and go have some hot hybrid sex in the woods?" said Tyler.

"Keep dreaming wolfie," smiled Caroline as she tugged Tyler toward their history class.

Tyler and Caroline shared a long and passionate kiss in front of Caroline's car.

"Caroline can we please go now?" whined Bonnie. "You're starting to gross me out."

Caroline and Tyler broke apart slightly, their noses touching. They smiled at each other.  

"What, I can't kiss my boyfriend?" said Caroline. 

"Not when I can hear you from like a foot away," said Bonnie.

Caroline smiled at Tyler and kissed him one last time before she pulled away and walked to her car door. "I hope you didn't forget about tomorrow night, seven o'clock," said Caroline as she got in her car. She opened the window, "And I'm wearing a red dress so try and coordinate. No yellows whatsoever though, yellow is so out of season."

"I'd never forget babe," said Tyler as he smiled and moved out of the way as Caroline and Bonnie drove away.

"Hey man," said Jeremy as he walked up.

"What's tomorrow?" asked Tyler.

"I think its a Tuesday," answered Jeremy with a half smile, "why?"

"'Cause Caroline just told me she hopes I didn't forget about tomorrow night," answered Tyler.

"Well then, I'd say you're screwed man," said Jeremy as he patted Tyler's shoulder before walking away to meet up with some of his friends. 

Tyler saw Elena walking over to her car. 

"Hey Elena! Wait up!"

"Hey Ty, what's up?" said Elena.

"Is there by chance some kind of holiday tomorrow that only Caroline knows about?" asked Tyler.

Elena laughed, "Don't tell me you forgot about your one year anniversary?"

Ty shut his eyes and sighed in annoyance at himself, "Dang it."

Elena laughed, "Don't worry, knowing Caroline, she probably planned the whole thing to make sure you didn't screw anything up."

"Yeah but I still have to get her a gift," said Ty, "and I have no idea what to get her."

Elena smiled, "Sorry, you're on your own there." She got into her car. "Need a ride?"

"No," said Ty, "I have my car today. And I gotta go get Caroline her present."

"Good luck," said Elena before she drove off.

"Thanks," Ty mumbled to himself.

He walked the entire mall twice, stopping at all of Caroline's favorite shops (of which there were plenty) and he still couldn't find anything. He did buy a nice flower bouquet. Seven o'clock arrived sooner than he thought and he anxiously drove over to Caroline's house.

Sheriff Forbes opened the door. "Hello Tyler," she smiled, "come on in, Caroline's just getting ready."

Tyler nervously entered, "Thanks Sheriff Forbes."

"What's got you so nervous?" asked Elizabeth.

"I couldn't find Caroline a present," said Ty confessed.

The sheriff laughed, "I can't help you out there."

At that minute Caroline walked down the stairs in a beautiful, short dress. It was deep shade of red that went perfectly with her hair. She had on matching heels and a silver clasp purse. 

"Hey boyfriend," smiled Caroline as she walked down the stairs.

"I got you flowers,"said Ty as he handed them to her as she finally made it to where he was standing.

"Thanks," said Caroline. She handed the flowers to her mom. "Put them in some water for me?"

Sheriff Forbes nodded, grabbing the flowers. "Now go on, you two have fun. But not too much fun. Tyler, I expect her back before midnight."

"Will do Sheriff," said Tyler as he held open the door for Caroline. They got in her car and Caroline started driving to the mystery location she had picked.

"This feels weird," said Ty," I feel like I should be driving."

"No way," said Caroline, "you cant know where we're going, it's a surprise."

"One that I should have planned,"said Ty, " look Caroline, I have a confession to make, I don't have a present for you because I forgot about tonight, I'm sorry."

"I know," said Caroline, "Elena told me. I'm not mad Ty," she took in a deep breath, "truth is, I forgot too. I only remembered on Sunday when my mom asked what I was doing for our anniversary."

"Then how did you manage to plan something?" asked Ty. 

Caroline scoffed, "Please, I had less time too plan my aunt's bridle shower." She handed him a blindfold, "Oh and put this on."

Ty laughed but obliged.

Twenty minutes later, Caroline parked the car. "Come on, we're here."

"Can I take this thing off?" asked Tyler.

"No," said Caroline as she opened his door. She sprayed him with perfume.

"What was that?" Tyler asked.

"Perfume. So your hybrid senses don't ruin anything," said Caroline as she pushed him along.

They walked for about five minutes before Caroline stopped. 

"Okay you can take it off now," said Caroline with a smile.

"What's with all this--" Tyler cut himself off. Caroline had spread out a picnic blanket with plates of strawberries, sandwiches and an ice bucket with a bottle of white wine and a bottle of red wine. Two wine glasses layed next to the bucket.

"Caroline..." Tyler kissed her and then they just stood there hugging.

"Do you remember this tree?" Caroline asked after a few minutes.

Tyler looked around then gave Caroline a half smile. "It's the tree where Klaus almost tricked you into having sex with him when he was possessing me."

Caroline slapped Ty's chest lightly. 

"Kidding," laughed Ty, "It's where you fell for me, and then slept with me."

Caroline pulled away and laughed. "Keep talking like that, and that last part will never happen again."

"Oh really?" Ty pulled Caroline close to him. He kissed the side of her neck, then the other side, then he placed small kisses all her jaw line. Caroline's eyes fluttered and she closed them in pure bliss. "How about you say that again," Tyler chuckled.

Caroline smiled. "I love you Tyler Lockwood, I hope you know that."

"I love you too Caroline."
