A man, who I don't know his name, kept on talking and ranting and ranting, you Know all those boring speech on the first day of school

People have been making rude remarks about my lips for the past thirty minutes now and my head is boiling right now, what am I even saying my head is roasting sef, infact my head is frying.

Don't they realize I'm just like two inches away from them

Don't forget to read your books.......blah blah blah...... blah blah blah.......... blah blah blah blah......... blah blah blah...... assembly dismissed

What don't look at me like that, those were the only words I heard don't blame me I was only hearing the rude remarks about me.

I walked out of the hall and then I realized the liar never took me to my class ,I don't even know where I'm going

Ask someone. My subconscious said

"Hi, hnm.. do you Know where the art department is". I asked some group of people.

"See the lips ". One of them said

"I'm sorry but that's not an answer". I said almost rudely

"She still get mind to dey talk , wo if I hit that big lips with this my back hand you will think say na trailer hit am". He said, the others laughed and followed him like some lost puppies.

Ouch

I will never ever listen to you again, you this evil subconscious

Abeg abeg, na me force you.  She retorted

I don't know why God decided to suffer me by giving me a subconscious like you

I'm so going to.........

"Heh heh, what are you doing in the hall, get back to class". A woman said

"I'm sorry ma but I don't know my way around here, I'm actually going to the art department ma".

"Oh , what class?"

"SS3 ma".

"Oh hi, I'm your class teacher Miss Irene, you must be ...........Toriola".

"Yes ma".

"Oh I'm actually on my way dear, we could go there together". She offered

"That will be great, thank you ma". I smiled

"I love your smile ". She said

"Oh, I looove yours too". It sounded like a question, I actually didn't know what to say and she started laughing.

We stopped when I saw the door and a label which states SS3B and under it we have SHINING STARS. She opened the door and my eardrums almost shattered, guess that's a sound proof door.

"Good morning everyone". She said smiling to them

"Good morning ma". Everyone chorused and returned the smile,  I think they really liked her.

"How was your holiday, I hoped you enjoyed it".

"Yes ma".

"So we have a new student in our class today". She said then faced me "introduce yourself". She said

"Okay, my name is Toriola Badmus but I will prefer you call me Tori". I said and the class became silent, well not really silent , people where murmuring on their seats and I think I Know why".

I looked at Miss Irene and she said" Go ahead".

Go ahead? What else should I say

"They want to Know your background, your PARENTS". She said

Really, why do they need to know your parents before accepting you

"Well, I think  you all know my mom Tokunbo Badmus a.k.a Toks and my dad , the owner of Richie's oil and gas company and the business partner of Adebayo's building company". I said calmly

I heard gasps from every angle, they are shocked

"Oh , you can seat right there next to that boy". She said and my eyes followed her hand

"Ma, is there any other empty seat available?". I asked

"No, why? do you Know him". She asked

"Yes, and he is kinda annoying". I said

"Well I'm sorry but you would have to manage dear".

"Ok ma". I said and went to my seat

"Hey, why didn't you want to seat here".

"Oh, nothing". I said with a fake smile

"Something tells me your smile is fake". He said

"And that something is right". I replied

Look she just came and she is already flirting with Gab . Someone said

This is why I never wanted to come to this school

See someone that was thanking God for bringing her to this school an hour ago. That sub decided to talk

"Good day class". A woman entered

"Good day ma". Everyone said and the class was so quiet, if a pin dropped we will definitely hear it . I think they were scared of her

"Take out your writing materials ". She said and wrote the word : GOVERNMENT on the board

Wait just like that, on the first day of school. No greetings , nothing?

Okay our scheme of work for first week.................and the words started rushing from her mouth without even stopping, thank goodness I am a fast writer, it wasn't even up to two minutes the liar beside me dropped his pen and just folded his arms.

Thank God, I sighed in relief.

Assignment no 1.........

Are you kidding me

I picked up my pen

No 20. Write every explanation I made when giving you note

Ah...ah...ah. Everyone started shouting

"What was that". The woman said, her voice echoing in the class. No one said anything.

"Good, submit first thing in the morning, 6:30 am sharp". She said and left the class room

Oh God of Tori, where art thou

"Can you borrow me your note". The liar said

"Borrow ko, sorrow ni".

"Please na". He begged, trying to make a puppy dog eyes, I quickly turned my face before I do something I will later regret.

It was break and I was in the canteen, what am I even saying it looks like a fast food restaurant, chairs and tables , cooks , different set of foods.

The school seems to always amaze me

I ordered spaghetti and meatballs with one chilled bottle of Chapman. I was good to go, but the problem is where would I sit.

Everyone kept murmuring, eyeing or hissing at me .

God, what have I done to deserve this

"Psycho, over here". I turned my back and I saw him with some people, his friends...... I guess.

For the first time I'm happy he is here.

Hnm hnm hnm? My subconscious mumbled.

What! I don't want to eat alone

I walked to his table, I was about to sit on the empty chair when a cute voice stopped me.

"Stop there". I froze

"Who are you". She asked

"Tori".

"Who are you to Gab".

"I don't know". Like seriously I don't know

"What do you mean".

"He is just my dad's business partner son, nothing else". I said, swallowing an imaginary lump, this girl was scaring the hell outta me.

"Sit, I was just pulling you leg jhor". She said and everyone on the table started laughing.

Phew

I sat down before I started eating and also doing my amebo job by listening to what the liar and his friends were saying

"Has any one ever told you how beautiful you are?". One of them asked

And I laughed, have never laughed like this before.

"What, did I say anything funny".

"Yes , you just said I am beautiful, me , Toriola Badmus,  beautiful . you are so funny I Know liar asked you to say that".

"Who is liar". The other guy said

"Me". The liar said, and everyone started looking at me awkwardly.

"Whaaaat, he calls me psycho, I call him liar. Fifty fifty, no cheating". I said and we all started laughing.

"Excuse me, you are in my spot". A voice said , I turned back and I saw it was the girl that called me a flirt in the class with two other girls with her.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know". I said, standing up to leave

"Sit". The liar's friend said, hnm...... Lisa yes Lisa said and I sat

"Why would you tell her to seat". The girl asked

"Because she is our friend and you are not".

Wait, I have friends?

"Gab, say something". The girl said

"What do you want me to say". He said with a bored tone

"I can't believe this, how would you disgrace me because of this......thing

Hold on, who is she calling a thing

"Eh, watch your tongue mama". The fair boy.....I think his name is Kingsley said.

I can't believe they are backing me up

"Abeg abeg leave this place, your spit is infecting me". Ayo , the dark skinned boy said

"I'm not going anywhere". The girl said

"Bishelle just go". The liar said

"Gab, Even you, I can't believe this". She said, almost crying

"Gab, Even you". Lisa mimicked " common carry this ugly face with this two things shaking their heads like agama lizard away from our table". She said

"You, you caused all this and I will make you pay". She said pointing at me

What did I do now oh

"Mide, Blessing let's go". She said and they followed her

"Thanks". I said to them

"What are friends for". Lisa said

I can't believe they want to be friends with me .

"Psycho, I didn't help you for free oh, you owe me". The liar said

"What do I owe you oh  ?". I asked him with a bored tone.

"Your government note". He said with a smirk.

I think Tori enjoyed her first day at D.A

I added some new people today, what can you say about them.

What relationship those Gab has with Bishelle 🤐🤐🤐. I will leave you guys to find that out.

Guys , school is resuming tommorow I'm not sure if I would have enough time to update but I promise I will try my best😁.
