Third person's POV

She was sitting on a blue plastic chair, a black table in between her and the police man.

Her face was bruised and swollen, since yesterday when she was brought here they showed her no mercy as they beat her mercilessly.

"I'm going to ask you for the last time, do you know anything about the death of your daughter." The inspector asked calmly.

"No I don't." She said softly, her head up high as she spoke calmly.

"Okay." He brought a phone out and played a recording as she gasped loudly in shock wondering where he could have gotten it. " What do you have to say to that." He asked her, expecting the truth from her

"You should know we are in the 24th century there is nothing impossible for all this people to do and beside it doesn't really sound like my voice." She said with a calm face hiding the fear of getting caught in her mind.

"Okay what of this." He said, showing her a video. In the video she was kneeling down, a wrist watch in her hand as her other hand was holding her phone beside her ear.

Her heart was beating fast as she started sweating. She didn't no anything to say to counter that.

'Who could have given him the video.'
She thought.

'Or could it be chief, was he scared that I was going to tell the police.' she thought.

"Who is the chief you were talking to in the video." The man asked her

"I...I..I don't....I don't know what you...are talking ab.. about." She stammered.

"DO YOU THINK I'M JOKING WITH YOU!" The man yelled, banging his hand on the table in anger as she flinched in fear

"You are one of the people, we all look up to in the society and you killed your own daughter, your reign in this country is over I tell you. This case is going to court and if you don't tell me the truth you will definitely not in jail." The man said as she burst into tears.

He was right, her fame is gone. All she had worked for years to get is gone.

She sold her daughter's body to old fools just to get fame, and what happened to the fame now, it has perished.

She lost her husband
She lost her daughter
She lost her fame

She has nothing again.

"You won't talk abi." "Dauda !" He called as a young man rushing into the small dark room.

"Take this woman, injure her till she confesses." The man said as Dauda saluted him.
"Yes sir." He says as he dragged her up

If you don't tell me the truth you will definitely not in jail.

She remembered what the police man said as she cried loudly.

'Chief even after I kept your secret safe. You killed my only daughter and I buried ur secret with me then you report me to the police. You won't go Scot free, I go down,  you go down with me.' She thought as she turned her face to the police man.

"His name is Chief Elliot."

Two days later

They were all at the police cell, ready to find the truth from Mrs Alagbe.

"So talk......what do you know about the death of my son." Mrs Badmus, Tori's mom asked

"If you don't talk, i will throw you dirty slap for seven years you won't hear again." Toni said in anger as she stood up Immediately Tomi their elder sister dragged her down, telling her to calm down.

Mrs Alagbe broke into tears as Tori watched her with anger, she was waiting for this woman to talk but she wasn't saying anything.

"Hey, there was traffic that's why I'm late. As she said anything." Mr Badmus, Tori's father said as he sat on a free plastic chair.

"No oh, she just won't stop crying." Tori's mum said as Mr Badmus turned to look at Mrs Alagbe.

"MITCHELL!" He called her in surprise.

"Dad do you know her." Toriola asked

"Yes, Tokunbo my step sister I always told you about, this is her." Mr Badmus said to his wife as Tori gasped.

"Jeeeezus Christ." Toni exclaimed as she placed her two hands on her head

"Yeeeee mo gbe( I'm doomed) , So your sister is the one that killed my son." Mrs Badmus cried out

"Mitchell tell me it's not true, tell me." Mr Badmus screamed at her as she kept on crying.

"It's all your fault Tade." She cried pointing to Mr Badmus.

"My fault?"

"Yes, you always knew my dream was to become an actress ever since we were young and you promised to help me. When we were grew up I reminded you all the time but you avoided me and went ahead to help your wife become who she is today. Why, to rub it in my face." She shouted

"Mitch you know the pastor said you aren't destined to be an actress." Tade said, he was almost in tears

"But was that enough reason for you to kill my son." Tokunbo shouted

"About the death of your son, I wasn't the one who killed him and it was what he deserved." Mitchell said folding her arms.

"Would you stop spitting nonsense and spill the beans." Toni shouted she was really angry. She loved her elder brother so much.

Toni just watched everything happening in pain, she wanted to say something but nothing came out. She wanted to shout in pain, but her mouth refused to open.

She was numb.

"It was Chief Elliot that killed him. That night I was preparing Bishelle for a night to spend with Chief Elliot but she refused. I slapped and beat her but she still didn't budge. So I told Chief Elliot about it and he told me if he doesn't sleep with Bishelle he wasn't going to help me and I really needed him to help me with the process of getting famous as an actress, so I .....I.... Made him rape Bishelle. Your son didn't just no where to put his business as he watched everything happening through the window so chief Elliot shot him to death and Bishelle became traumatized for months and when she was finally okay she got obsessed with this guy like this, her therapist told us it happens a lot but was rare and if the guy shows her much love she will get better and when I found out it was your daughter who was stopping my daughter from getting love from the guy and I found out it was your son we killed I felt no remorse, at least that's what you get for killing my dreams." She said as she laughed evilly.

"How dare you." Tokunbo shouted as she jumped up, hitting her and slapping her

"You killed my only son, you killed my prince." She kept on crying as she slapped Mitchell making two police men to come and separate them as they took Mitchell back to the cell

"I promise you Mitchell you will not in jail. You and that stupid Chief." Tade said as he hugged his wife.

While Tomi and Toni hugged Tori as she cried loudly.

Her aunty killed her twin brother

Tobi, was the one who fought for her when she got bullied in Secondary school.
He would always read the Bible for her and remind her of how she was beautifully and wonderfully made by God.

She started singing the song Tobi would always sing for her

"You are beautiful just the way you are and there's not a thing the world could change its heart.
No scars to you are beautiful, we are stars and we are beautiful oh🎶" She sang in tears as Tomi and Toni hugged her tightly.

"Bishelle, I just found out that you are my cousin and that's more reason why I will always love you. Your mother is already paying for her crimes now just like I promised you, i know you are happy wherever you are now. So my dear cousin, hope you will always watch us all and protect us up there." Tori whispered to herself as she kept on crying.
