The place smelt awful
The place smelt disgusting
The place smelt distasteful

It smelt like sweat mixed together with tears and drug.

The whole place was crowded with people, some wailing and mourning their loved ones, some holding the collar of the shirts of doctors , screaming and shouting cause of the sad news they might have heard, while some where pacing around, praying for good results just like what we were doing.

"It's all your fault, you caused this." Mrs Adebayo, Gabriel's mother said

"Ma I'm sorry, but please let m...."

"Bishelle here said she saw you push Gabriel to the road." She continued with her accusations

What!

"Ma believe me , I know not......"

"Shut up! Nothing must happen to my son."

"Darling calm down, let's just pray." Mr Adebayo said, glaring at me

"Ma please calm down, let me get something for you to eat." Bishelle said as I scoffed

I stood by the wall looking into the ward through the glass, I saw him lying on the bed with doctors doing all they can to save him.

Then someone rushed to us

It was my mum,dad and Tomi

"What happened." My mum asked with a worried face

"Your daughter almost killed our son." Mr Adebayo said to my dad before glaring at me

Oh God, if looks could I would I've been six feet under.

Dad looked at me , waiting for an answer as I nodded my head negatively.

"Let's all take it easy." My mum said with no one responding to her.

I love you Toriola Badmus

Some people rushed to us again

It was Toni, the twins and Bishelle

"I got the snacks." Bishelle said as she went to meet Mrs Adebayo

Bishelle!

I so fucking want to slap that smile of her face.

She showed up here first to come and feed everyone with her lies

But that means she knew about this, exactly when it happened for her to quickly rush to the hospital before us and call Gabriel's parent

Something is going on

The twins ran to me, hugging me so tight

"We don't believe what Bish said." Trina said

I sniffed

"You didn't do it right." Tricia asked , I nodded before hugging them.

"Get your hands off my children." Mrs Adebayo screamed as we all flinched getting everyone's attention as she dragged the twins away from me

I so fucking love you

"Are you okay." Tomi and Toni asked me as I nodded

And I don't give a damn about what the world says about it.

The doctor came out of the ward as we all rushed to him

"Doctor what happened to my son, tell me." Mrs Adebayo screamed into the doctor's face

"Ma'am please calm down." The doctor managed to say as Mrs Adebayo kept shaking him like a coca cola bottle

"Don't tell me to calm down just tell me what happened to my son." She kept on shouting

"Please just follow me to my office and I will explain what happened." He said removing her hands from his collar gently before walking to his office.

She fell on the floor, crying and asking God to save her only son while the twins helped in comforting their mother, Mr Adebayo and my Father decided to go into the office.

We waited close to thirty minutes for them to come out , as bad thought kept appearing in my head.

I walked to his office

"Where are you goi......" I blocked whatever the person wanted to say as I got to the front of his office

"What do you mean doctor......."

"What I'm trying to explain to you is due to the accident your son lost his memory.......

What!

"He has temporary amnesia, it's just temporary. He won't remember some things only things that happened a little before the accident and the people he saw.........

"I LOVE YOU TORIOLA BADMUS"

I SCREAMED

And that was the last thing I heard or saw

GABRIEL

I don't understand
What is happening
What I'm I doing on the hospital bed

Some people trooped in

"My Gabby are you okay." The woman said caressing my cheek

"Who are you.". I had to ask as the woman found what I said shocking, she faced the man beside her with tears in her eyes.

"Gabriel, don't you remember us." He said as I tried to recollect who they were, I closed my eyes trying to remember

But the only thing I could remember was her sweet soft lips on mine.

"This isn't happening, no it's not possible. Gabby look at me ......" The woman kept on talking as I just stared at the both of them

"Gabby." Some other people entered into the room , they were two little girls.

"Gabby are you okay." Wait I'm I Gabby

"Is my name Gabby." I asked them

"He doesn't even remember his name, God what I've I done to deserve something like this." The woman kept on crying

"Yes your name is Gabby, Gabriel." The other twin answered

"Don't you remember us." She asked as I closed my eyes , trying to remember

Sweet, soft, fluffy lips

"Not at all, and may I ask who are you people and what are you doing here, what I'm I even doing here." I asked the twin

"We are your sisters and those are your parents, and we are here to look over you cause you had an accident last night." She answered

Accident?

How?   When?  Why?

"It's all that girl's fault, I'm going to kill her, I'm going to kill Toriola Badmus."
The woman kept on shouting

TORIOLA BADMUS
TORIOLA BADMUS
TORIOLA BADMUS

"I SO FUCKING LOVE YOU TORIOLA BADMUS."

That was all I could remember, I need to find that girl maybe she can explain to me what happened.

"Where is she." I asked them

"Who." One of the twins asked

"That girl, Toriola Badmus. I need to speak with her ASAP."  I said

"You are not speaking to that devil." The woman shouted

Can't she stop shouting for once

"Mum." One of the twin said, warning her to stop

"Gabby if you really want to talk to her, then okay but that will be later." She continued

"Why." I asked her

"Since she's the only one you remember I will love that you should speak with her but you can't now cause she's also in the next ward."

"Why, what happened to her or where we both involved in the accident." I asked her again, since she was the only one that was answering all my questions

"No, nothing of such , she just ...hnm....when she heard about the news, due to the shock , she fainted and she hasn't woken up since last night."

"Can I go and see her ." I asked her again

"You are going no where." The woman said, pointing at me

"What mum is trying to say is you are also recovering think about your safety first."

"I understand." I said

But I still need to see her

Ah!

I felt pain in my head as I used my hand to caress it

"Ah." I yelled again

"Doctor, Doctor." They shouted, calling the attention of the doctor

The doctor and some nurse entered the room

"I told you guys to take it easy with the questions, he is just recovering he needs to rest."

They all went out from the room as the doctor checked my body

But that wasn't what was on my mind

I really want to speak to that Toriola Badmus.
