2 Languages (MysticUniverse)
I call this style "2 Languages"
In this poetry style you will use two languages. One will be English and the other one is of your choice.
The first word of line one must be a noun (in whatever language you choose).
Ex. Agricola
After your choice noun it must be followed by a comma (,). Then you must give two words describing the noun or stating what it is doing. In between the two words must be an "and".
Ex. Agricola, tending and plowing
Line two must be a statement about the noun.
Telling the reader what its job or its goal is.
Ex. Waiting to harvest before the year's end
You must repeat this process four times (Line: 1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2).
Line three must start with an adjective (in the same language as before), followed by words the adjective is describing. Add a comma at the end of your phrase.
Ex. Multus is the land,
Then add a "but", write another adjective (in the same language) and one word to end the poem (such as forevermore, perpetually, evermore, nevermore, ect...).
Ex. but Novus perpetually
Completed poem:
Agricola, tending and plowing
Waiting to harvest before the year's end
Puer, learning and helping
Tilling the food of his father's plain
Mater, baking and cleaning
Preparing the dinner for her family
Sorror, reading and writing
Educating herself more and more
Multus is the land, but Novus perpetually
