One year later....

Glowfeather trotted through the
long , damp grass. Her experience
of being a warrior was dry , surprisingly no conflict has happened
with other clans.

Bronzestar , her mother retired
from being a leader and Everpelt
who is known now as Everstar
took over Lightclan.

Also Bronzestar had her kits :
Maplekit and Daisykit.
( Maplekit is a boy and Daisykit is
a girl ).

Glowfeather thought - Everyone
has a mate but me! Everstar has
Nightblossom , Cloudshadow has
Moondust and Honeyfur has her
'Forbidden love ' with Orangewing..

She continued walking through
the grass with her head lowered.
Ever since Swiftstar re-connected AirClan there has been no conflict just
boringness... Glowfeather continued
thinking.

Glowfeather was almost an adult
warrior now. " When am I ever
going to get back to base? " Sighed
Glowfeather.

Suddenly the ginger warrior
could see Highbranch in LightClan.
" Highbranch! " She smiled. With
that new burst of energy Glowfeather
hopped to LightClan.

Flashpaw greeted her at the
boarder. ( Flashkit got his
apprentice name last Ice Wind).
" Glowfeather your back! "
" Yeah! How are you doing with
your training? " Glowfeather
asked thinking of Flashpaw and
his mentor - Honeyfur.

" Oh well Honeyfur is at ScaleClan
I think... But I'm doing good. You?"
His dappled grey fur shined.

" Oh me? I'm good. Just you know
ever since The War Of Knights passed
everyone has a mate but me!" She
hissed unaware of Flashpaw's shock
of her words.

" You don't need a mate to be a
good warrior! " He protested.
" Thanks Flashpaw. " She smiled
at the young apprentice and nodded.
" I'll talk to you later , see you!"
" Bye!" Flashpaw meowed.

Then Glowfeather padded to
Highbranch. " Leader Everstar! "
Glowfeather bowed at her leader.
Nightblossom , his mate sat beside him loyally. " Hey Glowfeather! "
Everstar gave her a friendly nuzzle.

" How are you doing leader? " Glowfeather asked smiling. " I'm
good. How are you?" He asked.
" Oh I'm normal.. " She sighed
yet again thinking of mates.

" Normal? Glowfeather are you
okay?" Everstar tilted his dark
brown furred head. Her answer
was firm. " Um yeah. I'm just tried.
Uh and uh - I'm hungry! I'm going
to go to the fresh kill pile now."
She turned and padded to the kill
pile.

" Okay then good bye Glowfeather! "
Everstar finished , watching Glowfeather pad to the prey pile.
' I hope she's okay 'He thought.

By the time Glowfeather got to
the fresh kill pile no prey was left
but a half eaten plump rabbit.
" This will do " She meowed as she
dug into the rabbit corpse.

' I guess I'll head back to my den now '
Glowfeather commanded herself
,  racing back to her Den to sleep.
