A shadow lurking in the forest-

The shimmer of the Moon bounced off trees causing shadows to form, Glowfeather trot beside Sandshadow watching those shadows carefully. Creepy sounds were scattered throughout the forest , hisses and echos of voices. Sandshadow was listening to these noises. " A mystery has been seen " A mysterious voice said. Glowfeather and Sandshadow jumped. " Who's there? " Sandshadow hissed turning left to right. A large dog slithered up to them. The dog was the breed of an Australian Shepherd the mixtures of grey , white and brown complemented it's pale blue eyes. " Hi there. " Woofed the dog in boredom. Glowfeather stood in caution and meowed. " Hi. Who are you? " Then the dog's laughter tickled the air like pine needles: " I'm Phantom. And you are?" The male dog took a step towards them. " Stay back! " Hissed Sandshadow. The warrior from Lightclan and the warrior from Dreamclan took a step back.

Glowfeather stepped back onto a small branch making it snap. " Sorry
but I have to kill you now." Phantom said , sarcastically. He pounced at Sandshadow. Sandshadow took the hit. Glowfeather gasped as a spiral of light surrounded her. Glowfeather came out of the light with two gold colored wings. The dog raised his ears and turned his head to face Glowfeather and stood motionless. " Get away from my friend or you'll get clawed! " Glowfeather hissed at Phantom. "Fine..." He stepped away from Sandshadow. " Good. Oh and since you hurt her your punishment is: that you have to come with us now! " Glowfeather ordered. Phantom , Glowfeather and the now injured , Sandshadow walked in the tree filled forest.

By the time the three animals got to Berrycrash forest , the bright sun was exposed. Phantom's tail lashed in hope , hope that Glowfeather would let him go to his pack and enjoy himself there. Not with two silly cats.
Spring , the loyal alpha if his pack was kind but she has a tint of a taste for blood. He missed his loyal alpha and goofy sister , but most of all ; his pack mates. Phantom looked to his right, Sandshadow was padding beside him and tracing her paws along the mushy earth. " Can you let me go now? " Phantom growled , the inpatient side in him was showing." Phantom, no. You attacked Sandshadow! This is you punishment." Glowfeather snarled at the big dog flying up to his height.

" Why? I have a pack to be at! " He barked showing his sharp , white teeth. Sandshadow padded in between the fight. " Glowfeather, let him go. " Glowfeather and Phantom faced her. " Fine. " Glowfeather narrowed her eyes at the dog. " GO! "
She ordered. Phantom happily nodded his head and trotted South.
" Sandshadow why did you want him to go? He could of helped us. " The ginger cat hissed. Sandshadow replied making a point : " He is a dog. We are cats, we are not meant to be helping each other! Phantom dosent care you have powers. He would of killed both of us if he stayed a bit longer. " Glowfeather stood in silence.

Then Sandshadow trotted on and Glowfeather joined. They walked in complete silence. Trees bounced left , then right , birds chirped and drops of water fell from the darkening sky. " A
thunder storm... " Sandshadow sensed and turned towards Starpool beach.
" Quick! We have to be at Starpool right now! " Glowfeather and Sandshadow's slow padding then turned into a full sprint. Suddenly, lightning bolts struck trees around them.

Finally , they got to Starpool beach...
Sandshadow and Glowfeather lay on the soft , damp sand watching the lightning bounce around and strike.
The quiet was gone.
