Quest for a shiny thing-

The large and bright sun arose like an giant, yellow flower petal, from the horizon, as Glowfeather trotted out of her den. Being the first day of Leaf-Fall it began to grow a bit cold in LightClan. But not as cold as Leaf-Bare. Flashleaf had a comfey plant in his mouth and was heading towards Glowfeather. " Glowfeather! Good news! I'm the new medicine cat. " He bloated as his mother, Meadowpond limped to his side. " Wow! I guess you learned enough from Leafclaw to be the new medicine cat. " The warrior nuzzled Flashleaf, then Meadowpond in a greeting manner.

She smiled mewing a " goodbye, have a nice day! " to them and leaving to the prey pile to eat what was left of a rabbit carcass. Then she left to the thunderpath, cautiously looking around for a shiny thing. She looked around for cloudings ( hours ) and found no shiny things. By the time the sun was setting Glowfeather had lost all hope of getting a shiny thing, when suddenly as the last few monsters rumbled across the thunderpath something was thrown onto the grass out of one of the monsters gaping mouths. 

It's was nothing but a piece of paper and a small black box. Glowfeather ripped the small black box apart reveiling a shiny thing. " Just in time! " The warrior huffed holding onto the ring with her claw. Curiously, she grabbed the paper in her mouth and headed back to her den.
She dropped off the paper in her moss bed and ran to the crackling river.

Machine had just arrived when Glowfeather had sat by the river with the 'ring' beside her. "Do you have it?" He asked. She replied with a grin:
" Yes. Now take it. And come. ".  Machine grabbed the shiny object and slipped it onto his claw, then followed Glowfeather obediently.

"I've been wondering.. Machine, why do you need that.... Thing?" Glowfeather was puzzled, why would a stay cat like Machine want such an unusual item? Machine watched Glowfeather trun around, stopping dead in Machine's tracks. "For a trade. There is one coming up two days from now and rings are very, very valuable items." The ginger warrior scolded him with an expression so haunting, Machine had to close his eyes for minute, then opened them agian to see her talking to the leader.

He rushed over to hear Everstar saying that Machine must be blessed into the clan before the next gathering. Glowfeather meowed: "Why don't we have the blessing now? Make him an apprentice, train him for a few days, and have him a ready warrior for the gathering! The leaders will be impressed, Everstar, with a fighter like Machine in this Clan, we will be unstoppable---" Now, Glowfeather being the one scolded, Everstar replied. " You can't just train an apprentice for a few days Glowfeather, I know you were only an apprentice for about five days but I, that was your mother's desicion"The leader glanced over to Machine, who was covered in a puddle of empathy for Glowfeather.

" Oh, greetings, Machine. " Machine felt as if a pine needle was stuck in his throat. He tried to meow: "Good day" back to the leader, but it just came out as a blob of mews. But Everstar still understood. "Well then, Machine you can sleep errmm-Glowfeather, find somewhere for your guest to sleep." Glowfeather nodded and trod with Machine to a grassy hill that was perfectly warm. "Guest?! What was that? Glow, am I not a-"
"You will never be a part of the clan until you get pretty much blessed into the clan, also you must go through apprenticing if you lose a battle agiasnt the most powerful warrior."
Glowfeather explained. "That's fox dung, but I like a good fight."Machine growled, turning away from Glowfeather's glace at him. A whirl of wind blew by, two cats sharing a fish trotted, but when seeing the tattered rouge they paused and stared. Machine growled, quietly but Glowfeather noticed. "What are you growling at now?" She meowed, somewhat angry. "Nothing," He replied.

"Sureeee, But I should be going now, you got a fight in the morning." Glowfeather finished. "G-Goodnight, Glow." "Night." She wandered off into the dark.
