~Cross's POV~

I Woke Up a few Moments And i saw alphys  Typing into her large Computer when she saw me she smiled nervously

"O-oh i-ink Y-your a-awake! S-sugar's Still a-asleep d-do y-you ma-maybe want s-something t-to e-eat?"

I shook my head Left to right telling her No. This place was full of cavities waiting to Be find

"O-oh....okay t-then...um..c-can You a-atleast t-tell m-me w-what h-happened?"

I shook My head again No.
I didn't want her to Panic Or something that's the least of my problems Now

"A-alphys?"

Heh Looks like Sleeping Cavities Is awake Alphys ran Towards the Room with me following behind her she pushed through The big door reviling Sugar on a table He still had a few scars and bruise But some of them were healing

"S-sans! A-re Y-you o-okay?!"

"Apart From Being "Sour" yea i'm Fine..hehe."

"O-oh t-thank g-goodness"

"B-but w-what Happened anyway?"

"I-i d-don't k-know i t-thought you m-might k-know"

"How did i get here anyway?"

"O-oh! Y-your f-friend h-helped out!"

~Third Person's POV-

Alphys Pointed to cross's Direction Sugar raised his a head a little to take a glance of who alphys was pointing to

But saw that No one was there cross had teleported away

He was now inside a cave that had sparkling Crystals above,it looked like this place was abandoned but woah was it beautiful it had a little lake that was Glowing Blue two but what made it more beautiful is that it was surrounded by echo flowers

He noticed something by the corner of his eyes sockets a Tree It was beautiful it gave out a positive vibe Cross had never been here before But it felt like he's been here for a long time

Fireflies Began to show Flying free and happy Cross couldn't help but smile he was glad he had teleported away Cause he was feeling Awkward and Confused he set near the glowing lake

Quietly thinking to himself it was quiet but that's what made it perfect for cross especially since he needed to get some stuff out like Why did he help Sugar,How were dream and nightmare Brothers and why-

His thoughts were cut of when he heard little giggles He followed those little giggles it came behind the tree he found he came behind the tree expecting children but no was there it was just more echoflowers Cross Wanted to leave but something inside him wanted to stay and so he did

"Nightmare? Is everything okay?"

(Nightmare? but that voice sound like.....)

No answer.

"Nightmare......."

(......?)

No answer.

(Dream...)

"You Don't Want to tell me huh? Don't worry i won't Force you to!"

(Heh that's what you told me...)

No answer.

"but maybe talking to someone Might make you feel better?"

(The first time we met)

"......."

(It went quiet then suddenly cross heard little cries that turned it sobs)

"D-dream? D-d-do y-you t-think i'm Evil? That i'm not good..."

(W.....hat?)

"What of course not brother! never!why would you say that?!"

(.......)

"Dream i give people nightmares! I-i make t-them scared but i d-don't m-mean to! B-but they t-think i-i'm Bad!"

(Wait.....is this even nightmare?)

"Nightmare....why didn't you tell me?"

"I-i...didn't want you to worry"

(Could this really be....him?)

"Brother...it...it was just your job...please don't blame yourself we did not choose to be who we are"

(Yea....i Know that For a fact)

"Dream.....I-i...Saw s-something i-in my d-dream! I.."

(I what?)

"Take a deep breath nightmare......"

"I-i saw....me....HURT PEOPLE! I-I EVEN HURTED YOU BADLY!"

(Once again it went silent then he heard someone be tackled to the grass and Cried....but it wasn't Nightmare's it was.....)

"N....nightmare i-it was only a bad dream! I know you! I know you wouldn't hurt a fly! I know you Wouldn't Hurt me! I...i know"

(Dream....)

"Dream?......"

(......)

"B...But....i-if it d-did happen...I'll Stop you..."

(W........)

"Promise?"

(It went silent for a moment but only for a moment)

"I Promise"

(W....when did this happen?)

"Thank You..."

After that the echo flower Replayed it Cross then heard Something else he walked a bit far from the Tree he took a turn here and there until he came across another tree But it was broken....It was dead but echo flowers were Growing behind that tree two so cross decided to listen

He heard a lot of fighting Gaster blaster being shot Bones Being fired then he heard panting

"Heheh..Getting tired i see Dear brother?"

(He shivered at that voice he knows that voice to well i guess they were fighting)

(He heard a growl then Someone or dream summoned Underground Bones But he heard nightmare teleport just in time)

(Then he heard A loud smack And someone hitted a tree possibly The tree Where cross was)

(Cross eyes widen And he hugged His feet together He heard coughing He heard DREAM coughing)

"please Bro........ther.....don't m-make me do this...."

(Cross felt pity)

(He heard footsteps Getting closer)

"I Think it's pass your bed time don't you think?"

(Nightmare let out a evil chuckle that sent shivers down cross's Spine)

"Forgive me brother"

(Cross heard a gasp probably from Nightmare)

"I'm sorry nightmare.....but i made a promise to you.....and i tend to keep it"

(After that What seemed like a lot of gaster blaster was shot Then a Pained hiss,Some Teleporting and something that cracked and someone opening up a portal)

"Thank You....."

( what?.....)

"NIGHT-"

(Then It went silent But soon came to someone falling to their knees and sobbing)

Cross heard enough And quickly left the room but soon Stopped when he heard a loud scream from one of the echo flowers a little far away from the dead tree

"NIGHTMAREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

And with that cross Teleported away that once beautiful and magical Cave he had found was now the scariest,saddest and Yet Painfullest Cave he had ever gone through

He thought to himself
"I Knew there was something Hiding Behind all that Happy,positive smile"
