@kahiliginger

Hey guys here goes another Crazy session with kahiliginger writer of Aboli, Night Jasmine etc

Hi, kahiliginger..

Welcome to Crazy talks. This is Anu.

Hi Anu,

I am so glad we are doing this. I think it is a great concept and I am sure the readers will enjoy getting an insight into the minds of Sandhir writers because of your effort.

1.Tell us a little bit about yourself..!

I must admit that I am way past the age of most Sandhir fans :) When I started watching Sadda Haq the plot took me back to my own college years and I was hooked. That was the beginning of my writing and my Sandhir series.

2.Your birthday..?

6th August.

3.Any inspiration for ur writings..?

They say that no writer's work is original, it is just a newer version of what has been penned earlier. Other than the books I have read all my life Wattpad itself was the greatest inspiration. It is an ideal platform for amateur writers to showcase their individuality.

4.What is your first piece of work in writing..?

My first attempt at writing was my debut on Wattpad, my book Night Jasmine, a Sandhir story. This was followed by my second Sandhir book The Roheda Blooms in the Desert which is a period drama.

5.How will you receive if someone criticize your works..?

Everyone loves to be appreciated. It is quite flattering to hear nice things about what you wrote. However critique from readers is vital to keep a writer on track. One writes to be read and negative feedback must be taken in one's stride because it helps to keep the writer's ego in check :)

6.Did you ever felt writer's block..?

Not so far, maybe because I have not written for that long. What I suffer from mostly is lack of time and find myself craving for free time to write some more!

7.Apart from writing what do you like to do.?

I have always loved reading. In my school days I bulldozed voraciously through Tintin and Asterix comics, Enid Blyton, English Classics, contemporary novels, the works! In my eighth grade my science teacher caught me reading Catch 22 by Joseph Heller in class. Mercifully it was not a school library book and I just got yelled at. I also enjoy watching movies- WWII war drama and Disney animated Classics are my favs. Other than that I have been lucky to travel to rather offbeat destinations and sample local culture and cuisines. The Lake District in Austria and Samoa in the South Pacific Ocean have been two memorable holiday destinations.

8.What made you to get addicted to Sadda haq..?

The chemistry between Param and Harshita during Season 1. All Sandhir fans will agree that Sandhir's first year at FITE got them truly addicted to the series. Even the story flying out of the window in the subsequent season was not enough to distract us from the Parsh vibe.

9.Have you ever dreamt about Param in your dreams. Tell me one dream which you remember..?

Wish I could lie and say I did, but honestly, no Param dreams for me! I do daydream about Parsh ending up together though!

10.If u were given a chance to play a lead role beside Param, which genre will you choose..?

I'd probably end up playing a mature role of a Bhabhi. I think the pairing of Parsh as the lead characters in SH is rather iconic.

11.Is there any scene is saddahaq which bring tears in your eyes till today if you remember..?

The scene when Randhir finds out about his parent's impending divorce. It was intense enough to move me. Overall Randhir has made a huge impact on the viewers. Because of how his character was butchered it was easy for him to win over the viewer's empathy, especially considering the viewership constituted mainly girls in the 16-20 age group.

12.What is the song which made you remember sandhir again..?

Abhi kuch dino se. It brought back memories of the scene when Sanyukta's saree gets caught in a nail in the FITE canteen and she thinks Randhir is behind the mischief. The song also marks the first stirrings of love in Randhir's heart.

13.Who is your first celebrity crush..?

Actually there were two, Brad Pitt in Meet Joe Black and Hayden Christensen in Star Wars Episode III. Hayden had shades of grey in his otherwise romantic character.
Maybe that is why I loved the characterisation of Randhir as the young man with anger issues.

14.Which title of Sandhir book attracted you the most.?

I began reading Sandhir stories on Facebook first, the Wattpad ones came later.
A Fortunate Accident by APeaceSeeker Cricketer's Bride by NILA2763 are catchy titles and make for good reading.
Among some of the best titles I have read earlier are
I still love you by Muskan Agarwal, Wife on Paper by Mouli Bhattacharya and Priceless By Madhusmita Das.

15.Any memorable incident related to Sadda haq..?

I was so disturbed by the Ishika-Randhir track that I stopped watching the show on TV after the cheating episode. Sanyukta's pain was really palpable, I don't know how the writers wrote it into the episode! After that I only saw the series on Hotstar, and only after having read the written episode first.

16.Which plot of Sandhir story attracted you the most in Shq..?

Fresher's party when Sanyukta gets drunk, Sandhir's first hate kiss, getting locked in the library together, Randhir intruding into Sanyukta's grooming classes, there are so many.

17.Which character in Sadda haq inspired you the most..?

Of course Randhir! And also Renuka Sanyal as the misunderstood successful career woman and Randhir's unfortunate mother.

18.Whom do you remember seeing these words..
