Madi
It's been a couple of days and both Brooke and Soda were doing great. It was me, Brooke, and the guys, except Dallas, who were on a random walk.

"You know, one of these days you'll have to face Dallas you know that right?" I said to Brooke who only shrugged.

"I know but now isn't the time," she said and I raised a brow.

"Enough of me what about you?" she said with a smirk. Which wasn't good.

"What do you mean?" I asked dumbly.

"You and Soda" she smirked again.

"First off Ew that's gross and second we're just friends" I lied to her and myself.

"Sure" she chuckled walking over to Soda. Leaving me alone.

Sodapop
I was talking with Steve when Brooke walked over. I gave Steve a look who only nodded going away.

"Hey," I said and she smiled.

"Hey" she replied.

"You okay?" I asked glancing at her wrist.

"Soda, I'm fine but that's not what I have to ask you," she said and I nodded slowly.

"What?"

"You and Madi...you two you know...thing?" she smirked and I laughed.

"No. She doesn't like me like that plus she's a Soc" I smiled but secretly that killed me inside.

"How about you?" she asked with a sly smile.

"What do you mean?" I asked dumbly.

"Do you like her?"

"Who?"

"Don't play dumb Sodapop" she said seriously and I chuckled.

"Who?" I asked smiling and she rolled her eyes.

"Do you like Madi?!" she said with a hint of annoyance.

"No" I lied to her...and myself.

"Yeah sure..." she said walking away as Steve came over to me again.

Madi
After Brooke left Steve came over to me with a small smile.

"How are you and Soda?" he asked with a sly smile and I groaned.

"What's with people asking me about Soda?!" I said annoyed.

He chuckled lightly and I saw Brooke coming back and Steve went back over to Soda.

"You know...he likes you," Brooke said to me and I laughed.

"Me? Are you talking about me? Psychotic Madison Marie Turner me?" I asked confused and she laughed.

"Yes you" she replied and I chuckled.

We soon were on our way back when a blue mustang drove up to us. Bob.

The guys stepped in front of us and I could see the annoyance in Brooke's eyes. I knew she hated to be treated like some damsel and to be honest I didn't either.

"Go away" Darry spat and Bob laughed.

"I'm not here to hurt Madi and your cute sister" he smirked and I could practically see Brooke's blood boil.

"You don't get to talk to her like that" Darry snapped and he chuckled.

"I'm here to call a rumble," he said with a smirk.

"Alright when?" he asked and Bob had this smile.

"But I want a deal"

"What?" Darry asked annoyed.

"If we win we get Madi and Brooke. If you win well...we don't" he said and I saw Brooke was gonna say something but I stepped on her foot.

"Deal," Darry said and they drove away chuckling.

"Tonight!" he yelled as they drove. Oh God, today wasn't gonna be good.

We arrived back to The Curtis's and the guys started getting ready. Brooke sat on the couch crossing her arms when Dallas walked in.

"You don't go?" I asked her and she shook her head.

"Dar-bear won't let me" she rolled her eyes and I chuckled.

"Darry doesn't want you hurt," Dallas said and she got up going to her room. He looked down sadly and I followed her.

In Brooke's room, she sat there fiddling with her ring.

"What's that?" I asked and she looked down with a small smile.

"Nothing," she said with a small shrug.

I just nodded knowing not to argue. Soon the guys knocked.

"We gotta go," Soda said and we got out of her room and into the living room.

"See you later guys," Brooke said and hugged everyone and kissed their cheeks. All except Dallas. She just looked at him and walked away.

"Good luck," I said smiling and they all nodded.

Brooke and I stood outside watching the guys leave. If only we knew something was terrible was going to happen.
