Madi
It's been a week since the whole incident. Dally has been in and out mostly cause Darry kept threatening to kill him and as for Brooke and Soda, I don't really know. Brooke hasn't left her room and the only person to see her was Pony but that was to give her food and whatever she needed. As for Soda, no one has seen him in a week. Not even Steve.

We all sat there in silence when Darry finally snapped.

"Pony, get Soda out of his damn room. I'll get Brooke" Darry said getting up. Pony he nodded knowing not to mess with him.

Moments later Brooke and Soda were dragged from their rooms. Brooke looked like a mess and Soda...he looked crushed.

"They live!" Two said and we all glared at him.

I saw Brooke tear up and walk away.

"Brooklyn Angel Curtis get over here right now!" Darry yelled and she shook her head.

He grabbed her wrist and she let out an ear piercing scream. He let go and she ran to her room slamming the door. Soda finally snapped out of whatever he was in and we went over to her room. We had Soda knock but there was no answer.

"Brooke...can I come in?" he asked softly.

We heard something hit the door and we all backed up. Pony then came forward.

"Brooke...would it be better if it was just me?" he asked and there was no answer.

"S-sorry...I forgot you can't see me" she said quietly.

"Can I?" he asked again and she sighed.

"Fine" she spoke and we all fled and we saw Pony go into her room. All we could do was wait.

Sodapop
I sat in the living room for once. It was odd. I haven't been here in a week but it was...nice. Madi came over and sat next to me and held my hand hesitantly.

"You know you'll find someone better right?" she said quietly and I shrugged.

"You'll find someone who loves you more than that...thing did," she said and I chuckled.

"She was the love of my life," I said with a sad smile and she rolled her eyes.

"She isn't even a she...it's an IT," she said and I laughed. The whole gang looked at me confused. I mean who wouldn't? I was in my room for a whole week sad and then I come out and Madi says something stupid and I laugh. Me laughing after what happened is probably a shock.

"See, now that's better" she smiled.

"What is?" I asked dumbly.

"You smiling"

"Aw does Ms. Soc have a crush on a greaser?" Steve said with a grin and Madi blushed. I don't really know why. Maybe out of embarrassment.

"I don't" she snapped regaining control of herself. I thought it was pretty cute so I told her.

"You're cute" I smiled and she blushed again making me smile.

"Okay!" Two interrupted making me laugh.

"Yeah, if you're gonna flirt then go somewhere else," Darry said looking back at his paper.

"Really? How about you and Octavia?" Madi said and we all looked at Darry.

"Who's Octavia?" we all said and he blushed lightly.

"No one," he said quickly but at the same time, Madi said something too.

"His girlfriend"

We all looked at him and he was blushing more.

"How did you know?" he asked quietly and she laughed.

"I'm a Soc" she smiled and that shocked us more.

"Superman is dating a Soc?!" Two said in shock.

"No, he's dating someone in the middle class" she replied and Darry just hid behind his paper. That made me laugh.

Soon Pony came out with Brooke. He had this look of sadness and disappointment while Brooke...I couldn't tell.

"Pony, what's wrong?" Johnny asked and Pony grabbed Brooke's arm and flipped it so we could see the inside of her wrist. What we saw shocked us all.

"Brooke," Darry said quietly and she shook her head.

"I don't want your fucking pity" she snapped pushing Pony and walked away.

Everyone was frozen. All except Madi who just got up walking to her room.

Madi
I walked into Brooke's room and sat next to her.

"I took all of your blades...how?" I asked in shock and she pulled out a blade that had a baby pink handle. I grabbed it and on the side, I saw the word Angel was carved in it. She handed it to me shaking her head.

"Dallas gave this to me..." she said quietly and I nodded.

"It's gonna be alright," I said to her and she nodded slowly.

The rest of the day we spent in her room talking. Nothing really in particular but it was relaxing. Got our mind of certain...things...
