- Hey guys have you seen somewhere (Y/N) or her mech, I can't find her. Clay was also went somewhere. - said Aaron as he searched for the two missing siblings later in the evening.

Lance and Axl were playing on the console and at the mention of them stopped for a moment and looked at him. - Clay said something after that action with the Lava Monsters that they would guard that.... That Rogul what we have. - Lance replied.

Aaron looked deadpan at him and slapped his forehead. - I forgot to check the training room, the most obvious place to find Clay. Bravo for you Aaron.

- I'm glad I could help, now.... I'll destroy you Axl! - he laughed and resumed the game. Axl laughed. - You must be dreaming, Richmond!

Aaron left the living room and started walking through the corridors to the training room, when he suddenly bumped into Macy.

- Sup Macy, what's up?

- Nothing special, I'm looking for Clay and you?

- I'm looking for (Y/N). I heard they are in the training room.

- Then let's go there together.

The duo quickly went to the training room where the Moorington siblings were supposedly located. But as soon as they went inside they saw only Ava and Merlok, who were discussing the locked Rogul in the force field.

- Oh Macy, Aaron! What are you two doing here at this later hour? - Merlok asked.

- We are looking for Clay and (Y/N) do you know where they are? - asked Macy.

Merlok and Ava looked at each other and then at them again.

- Well, yes. They went to the roof to take in some fresh air. - Ava replied. - Okay, Magicman let's scan this Rogul.

Merlok grunted. - Of course! Let's see what kind of power you hide, my friend.

- Let's go to them. - Aaron said and nodded at Macy and they both left the room. They went up to the roof and saw (Y/N) and Clay in their battle suits. Clay was looking up at the sky, sitting on the roof next to his sister, who had her arms crossed and her head slightly drooped.

Macy and Aaron exchanged uncertain glances and the girl grunted quietly. - Clay?

Clay jumped up slightly and turned his head toward the girl and smiled slightly. - Hi guys. What are you doing here so late?

- What are you guys doing here so late? - Aaron asked as he and Macy walked closer.

Clay sighed and waved his hand at that. - And nothing, we just came to look at the stars.

- But why are you still in your armor? - Macy asked. Clay didn't  answer and looked at (Y/N), who was asleep.

- There's no point in getting out of them. - He muttered and leaned with his back against the turret. Aaron and Macy looked at each other and after a moment sat down next to Clay and looked up at the sky.

- Why?

Clay looked at Macy with "really?" written on his face and sighed. - Monstrox's curse has taken my whole body except my head. It's already taking my face, it's only a matter of time when.... we will turn into stone.... And we are no longer able to move at all like a human being. So for what try to go out.

- And (Y/N)? - Aaron asked, glancing at the sleeping girl in the machine. Everyone could hear the heavy but steady, calm breathing. - She doesn't want to let me see her.

- It's the same with her, however, my transformation process is faster than hers.... Probably because she has this power of hers that slows down the transformation to some extent. The curse has her body from the waist down and the left part.

- Did Ava do this scan for you? - Macy asked quietly.

- What will happen? - she asked in a trembling voice.

- We will turn into stone.... And what will happen next we don't know. - He replied and shook his head.

- Are you scared? - Aaron asked.

- And you wouldn't be scared that there is a possibility that you will die? - He asked mischievously and furrowed.

Macy and Aaron exchanged glances, and Clay looked up at the sky again feeling the cold night wind on his face. - We came to take one last look at the stars. Before we turn into stone.

Macy sighed and bit the inside of her cheek, feeling tears coming. Aaron looked silently ahead at the forest in front of Fortrex.

- When will it completely happen? - Aaron said.

 Clay shook his head. - A matter of hours. Plus or minus a day for me, and as with (Y/N) it's two days max.

- Fucking Monstrox. - Macy whispered angrily. Clay looked at her puzzled. - If it wasn't for him, you'd be fine! Jestro wouldn't be evil again, there would be no monsters! Everything would be fine!

- Don't shout like that. (Y/N)'s asleep. - Clay hissed slightly upset.

Macy sighed and calmed down. - Sorry... It's just hard to believe that you, the best knight of us all.... You just disappear like that and.... you may not come back. Doesn't that worry you!?

Clay and (Y/N) kept their distance from the knights and mostly enjoyed each other's company and talked to each other. The knights respected their decision and went about their activities.

Lance and Axl were playing some kind of game with figures. They argued about the characters's spellcasting. Macy rushed into the room, looking for some hammer. The knights told her to settle the dispute, but the girl ignored them. After a while, Macy came in again, looking for a hammer.

- Macy, tell Axl that I should throw the blue dice and not the red! - demanded Lance like a child.

The girl sighed, trying to contain her outburst of anger.

- I don't have time! I'm going to be late, I'm about to meet my mother in Hammerin for the hammer throw competition and here, to my anger, I can't find my favorite hammer!- she shouted, leaving in frustration.

You were urgently summoned by the king to the castle because Queen Halbert and also Macy's mother, had been kidnapped by some witch. The King, as soon as you arrived began to despair for his wife and Macy was heartbroken.

- We will rescue the queen, sir. - said Clay, interrupting the king's despair.

Macy sighed despondently. - How could I have failed so badly. 

- Macy, don't blame yourself. It was who Robin glued your vehicle with toothpaste. - Clay said, trying to comfort the knight. You looked at your brother with stunned and knocked him lightly with your elbow. Your brother looked at you. - That doesn't help! How was that supposed to comfort her!?

Axl and Aaron started laughing quietly and you and Clay looked at them furiously. Macy looked at the two of them with a fury burning like lava and quickly approached them.

- Stop laughing, they kidnapped my mom! Some stone witch kidnapped her, how is it possible that Monstrox has so many allies!? - she cried out desperately.

- Stone witch? - you whispered and looked at Clay, who just shrugged.

- I understand, I know, pumpkin. The days have lost their glow since our queen was taken from us! She is like the heart of our realm! Macy I wanted to give you this for your birthday, but.... I think you'll need it sooner. - said the king, hugging his daughter.

- What's that dad? - she asked.

When she said this from behind the castle to us flew Robin in a flying vehicle in the shape of a dragon. The new flying combat vehicle, Hotspur.

- Go daughter, knights and rescue my queen. - said the king.

- We're on our way, your majesty. - you saluted.

Fortrex moved to follow the signal of the location where Queen Halbert and the stone witch had last been. Macy was getting angrier and more unfocused by the minute, and Clay tried to comfort her somehow, but was only met with a savage retort from the girl.

- The first fight in the marriage. - You whispered with a smirk to Robin. Young boy chuckled quietly.

- Okay, have you traced the signal of the queen and that witch yet? - Clay asked. Ava gave a confirming murmur. - Great, let's move Nexo Knights!

You all left Fortrex and dashed in chase after the vehicle of the mysterious new witch, which was guarded by monsters, mainly gargoyles. The witch flashed like the wildest lightning in her vehicle through the canyon. 

- Aaron, Axl, Lance and (Y/N) let's take care of detaching this cell from the rest of the vehicle and free the queen. And be careful, we don't know what this new witch is capable of.

The witch looked over her shoulder at the knights, before looking at the black tytan mech flying in the sky and smiling ominously. - Angel of Doom. Hah! Since I have awakened, it won't be needed here.

Then she looked at Macy and Clay, who were right on her tail, and laughed again with dark satisfaction. - Yes that's it! Let those pathetic emotions of yours rule over your judgment, princess. - then she put two fingers to her lips and whistled and gargoyles and three harpies flew around her. - Take care of those knights! 

- Yes, oh cruel evil Ruina Stoneheart! - one of the harpies called out with a smirk, before issuing a loud roar to the other gargoyles. The harpies and a few gargoyles stayed behind so that witch could leave and rushed at Macy and Clay.

- What a knight! - one of the harpies began.

- Just hanging out! - the other said.

- In his best suit! - finished the third.

Macy fired several energy projectiles at the three harpies, effectively knocking them out of the sky.

- (Y/N) come with us after this witch! Aaron, Lance and Axl take care of the other gargoyles! I'll free the queen! - Clay ordered.

- You say and you have, my brother! - You laughed and turned on the boosters to catch up Macy and Clay.

Axl and Lance were still arguing about some game, which deconcerted them and they had to be rebuked twice by an annoyed Aaron. Exactly the same three harpies as before stood in the way of your flight and you came to a screeching halt.

- Well that's some fighter!

- Too bad he has to fall, he has such cute ears!

- And menacing, proud wings!

You looked at them confused, not knowing whether to feel upset or flattered by these compliments. You simply drew your sword in response as the harpies moved to attack and knocked them out of the sky again.

- Thanks for the compliments by the way! - You called out after them as they fell. You moved on after Macy and Clay.

- Clay, Jestro cut off our escape route! The witch and the kidnapping of the queen was just a diversion, it's Fortrex is the real target! - Ava informed everyone through the communicator.

- Oh shit, not good. They must have come to retrieve Rogul with the Forbidden Power! - you called out.

- Aaron, Lance and Axl go back to Fortrex and try to stop Jestro from taking Rogul from us!

- We got it, Clay! - Aaron replied and quickly turned back to Fortrex.

- What about my mom!? - Macy called out worried.

- We'll save her Macy, I promise. - Clay reassured her. - Sister, hurry up!

- And you think, what am I doing!? - you yelled and with the speed of light passed them, leaving them in the dust.

- Not so fast! Macy chase after her! - Clay shouted after you.

The gargoyles quickly sensed that something was approaching them and quickly rushed to attack. You stopped with a screech of tires, slightly losing control of your mech. Your thoughts were like mad, fear for Fortrex, Merlok, Robin and Ava mixed with commands for the machine.

- Shit, shit, shit! Hit that damn sword! - you yelled at the machine, which began to shake slightly and make some strange sounds. Then medium-sized cannons with explosive rockets came out of the arms, which fired at the gargoyles. The explosion, knocked several of them out of the sky.

- Wow... I didn't know that. - You muttered as the cannons hide back into the arms of the mech. - Okay, now let's check! No nerves and calm...

Then you improved, drew your sword and fought the gargoyles. Soon Clay and Macy joined you and helped you fight off the monsters. - Thanks... What took you so long!?

- Oh, sorry! You were the one who overtook us and left us in the dust! - Macy growled at you.

- Ladies, ladies! Calm your emotions and let's focus on priorities. Let's save the queen! - Clay interrupted the argument that was about to begin.

- Don't rebuke us here Clay, just focus on my mother! - Macy growled at him as more gargoyles started flying towards you.

- I got it!

With that, Macy dropped Clay, who landed perfectly on the roof of the cell, where Queen Halbert was. The Witch quickly realized the presence of the intruder and quickly threw Clay off her vehicle. She stopped nearby and looked furiously at him.

- Get him out of that tin armor! - she roared to the gargoyles, who obediently obeyed her command and moved to attack. Ruina Stoneheart smiled maliciously and fired a beam of lightning that shocked and knocked Clay to the ground. She laughed sinisterly.

She shouted some kind of spell and her hair was literally full of lightnings to attack Clay, when suddenly with a loud rumble something landed behind her. Ruina looked back quickly and saw you and you were staring at her with the fury of a thousand suns. You had your sword in your left hand and a shield in your right.

- Hello there. - you hissed.

Ruina raised his eyebrows and stepped back slightly. - Ah damn.

You swung your sword at her, ready to cut this old lady in half, but she disappeared in a streak of lightning. You raised your eyebrows in shock and looked around, her vehicle split in half under the force of the cut.

Suddenly a lightning bolt struck your side, the force of which pushed you and threw you off balance. You shook your head and saw her in front of you, she was smiling waving at you. You growled and prepared for her attack.

- Come on old lady, show what you've got!

Ruina smiled more and giggled slyly. - With pleasure. - Her hair started sparking with lightnings again and she fired a few of them at you, but you defended yourself with your sword.

She fired a projectile of lightning magic in your direction, but you caught it in your fist and crushed it like a ball. Ruina raised both eyebrows impressed. - Well, well, it's clear that you are one of the stronger knights. But you won't last long...!

Along with this, her hair was once again lightning and her staff also littered and shot a mass of lightning in your direction, which you defended with your shield.

- If I were in my form you would have been at the other end of the realm a long time ago, old lady. - you said.

- Oh yeah? Let me guess, you have the power of a defensive wave, right? - She mocked and laughed mischievously. You were surprised and your guard dropped in amazement.

- How do you...? It was my secret...!

- Move? Well, I guess it's not so secret anymore. Monstrox told me about you and warned me what to expect from you. So... Let me show you what I can do!

The witch scowled, tightening her grip on the staff and through her body, lightning began to pass. You tensed up, not knowing what to do, but stood ready to defend yourself. Her body began to glow and an aura lifted her off the ground, after a moment a huge electrical wave erupted from her, which passed through your body and knocked you heavily to the ground with one blow.

You fell to the ground with a bang and the weapon fell out of your hands. You were stunned as millions of lightning bolts pierced your body. You felt your body go numb and panicked when you couldn't see out of one eye, specifically your left eye.

Ruina Stoneheart slowly approached you and looked at you with disdain. - Never mess with Ruina Stoneheart!

In response, you lifted your right leg and kicked the witch in the chest with all your strength. Through the force of the blow she fell off the cliff with a scream, but the gargoyles managed to catch her. With heavy breathing, you forced yourself to get up and saw in the distance the free queen and Clay, who stood unnaturally close to you.

- Clay...? Are you all right, brother? - You asked, approaching him. You stopped in front of him and gasped in shock and let out a moan of despair. Monstrox's curse had completely taken him!

Clay... He had become a stone! His eyes were dilated and you saw the emotion of fear and worry in them. You put your hand on your head and took a few steps back. You lost sight in one eye which means that.... The curse is about to change you too!

- No, no, no, no! - You whispered frantically, shaking your head.

- Clay? Clay! Help get him out of the armor! - you heard Macy shout and the knights quickly ran to you. Suddenly Clay's petrified body fell out of the armor and fell to the ground. Macy gasped in shock and everyone surrounded Clay's body.

- Clay... Oh God. - Macy groaned and covered her mouth with her hand, shaking her head in disbelief with her eyes wide open.

- Oh crap. - Lance sighed and his jaw dropped.

- I don't believe it. - Axl added.

The knights went to escort the queen back to the castle to King Halbert. You, Merlok, Robin and Ava looked at the stone Clay in silence. You came out of your mech and you too were almost, except for the right side of your face covered in stone.

Robin was standing close to the stone Clay and you could hear him pulling his nose the longer he stood like that and looked directly at him.

- Merlok... I'm scared. - You groaned in a cracking voice and looked at Merlok in horror. Merlok looked at you sadly and sighed.

- I know, I know. I'm so sorry child... I didn't manage to save you. - Merlok said sadly, and you could also hear a crack in his voice.

- I can't even cry! - You added and laughed lightly, although it was a rather pathetic statement of fact. - I'm afraid of what will be there, I.... I can't, to be like this.... I don't... God!

Robin and Ava looked at you and you could also see tears in their eyes, mostly in Robin's.

- I don't know... Will I be able to do so without... life and stand like this... If he is even alive there. - You whispered and glanced at Clay.

Suddenly there was a loud sound of a door opening and you all looked in that direction. Knights out of breath after a long run stood in the doorway.

- Don't look at me like that, I beg you. - You groaned and pulled your nose.

- How do you feel? - Axl asked.

You laughed slightly without humor. - Like someone who is about to turn to stone devoid of life.... Guys, I'm scared. I'm so scared.

Aaron swallowed hard and nodded his head. - I know.... I know, love.

You pulled your nose and looked around at them all. Merlok, Ava, Robin and the knights.... Your family. - I can... Can I tell you something... Before I go? - You asked hopefully when you felt the stone move.

Everyone nodded.

- Say whatever you want. - Lance said.

- I want to tell you that for both of us, me and Clay you are the best people we could ever meet.... We've talked about this more than once, more than twice and.... - you took a deep breath. - For us... you will always be our family.

- Lance, I know Clay didn't tell you this often, but for him.... you've always been an awesome guy, despite the fact that you constantly annoyed him and were a real pain in the ass for him.... He respects you like no one else.... For me... You have always been and are someone special.... Without you, for most of my life.... You were always there for me I was there for you.... You cared for me and.... I love you and would give myself to kill for you.... I think you know that.

Lance froze at these words and his hand went to his heart as he looked at you in shock.

You looked at Axl. - Axl... You gave me support and showed me many ways food cultures, more than I can count.... You were like an unofficial second big brother to me.... In fact, you already are one now... I owe it to you that you helped me see through and thanks to you I realized that I was in love with Aaron and you gave me the courage to tell him.... Not just because you're a king's daughter, but because.... he sees you, the real you, the brave, good, kind, amazing and beautiful warrior who is a perfect match for him.... He... Macy covered her mouth with her hands and tears flowed from her eyes. - I... I will never forget him, and neither will you.... Sister.

A small smile appeared on your face and you looked at Robin and Ava. - Kids... I love you guys, nothing to add nothing to take.... You're kids with great potential and I know and believe that you will be amazing people with great skills someday. Robin, Clay admires your eagerness to become a knight and... that you believe in him. He believes in you as well and will be proud that from under his wings you will grow into a great knight.

Robin looked at you with eyes as big as coins, filled with tears, and pulled his nose. Then you looked at Aaron, who was looking at you with his fists clenched tightly to hold back tears.

- Aaron... I want to tell you that from the day I met you.... I fell in love with you at first sight and knew that you would be the one. You helped me discover a hidden part of myself that I didn't know existed. You lifted my mood and comforted me when I didn't do well in training and got punishments from Brickland.... You're the most amazing boy I have ever met. Macy and other people have often said that we were written to be together.... And maybe they are right... I want you to know that even if I'm that damn lifeless stone.... I still love you and I will never stop.... Or if by some miracle Monstrox gets us.... I will never leave you or forget you.

Aaron bit his lip and nodded. - I love you too, (N/N). More than anyone else and.... I won't forget you either, ever. I love forever and always.

- Knights... Merlok... If even the moment comes that Monstrox gets us and revives us, me and Clay will never leave you and never hurt you.... We will never leave your side, we will never betray you.... We will let ourselves be chopped up for you, cause you are.... Family, the family we didn't have when we were kids.... We had no parents or anyone to take care of us until Merlok found us. I'm as grateful as my brother to you Merlok for finding us and raising us like the family member, uncle we never have.... We will never forget that.

Merlok smiled and nodded, wiping a tear that flowed from his eye. You felt the stone slowly moving and already starting to enter your field of vision. You began to breathe quickly and took one last look at all of them.

- Good luck with Jestro and Monstrox. Defeat them and do not lose hope, fight for us and.... free us soon.... I love you and... goodbye....

Along with this, the stone completely covered your field of vision and you felt the force forcing you to fall asleep. Your breathing automatically disappeared and you felt an emptiness in the whole your body and a cold.... very cold. In one second.... everything disappeared.
