This sucked. Raavi still wasn't happy now that Shiva had told things could go back to the way they were before. He did speak to her, but it wasn't like before. It was always to the point. He didn't call her maami ki behen ki beti anymore nor did he pick up fights with her. Raavi needed more. She wanted the comfort level they'd developed these days. She wanted to hug him, kiss him, everything.  It was wrong. She knew. Yet she couldn't help it.

Suddenly her phone rang. Raavi hoped it was Shiva, but it turned out to be Dev. She was disappointed but she picked up the call. Dev called her to Pandya house and said there was something important he had to ask her. Raavi wasn't feeling like but she agreed. Any excuse to see Shiva. She quickly got dressed up and left for Pandya house.

When she entered Pandya house she found more guests than she'd thought. There was Jamna kaki sitting in the living room with her daughter and another girl. Dhara was serving them tea. She asked Dhara where Dev was, but Dhara said he had gone out. Raavi was irritated. Why go out when he had called to meet her here? She called Dev once again who asked her to wait for sometime. So Raavi sat down beside Jamna kaki and began eating the samosas in front of her.

Shiva came back from the store and Raavi smiled. Dhara asked him to sit with them so he sat opposite to Raavi, and Raavi seeing her opening changed places and sat beside him. Jamna kaki invited them to their daughter's godhbharai ceremony.

"Raavi tu bhi aana. Main Prafulla se bhi baat karne jaungi shaam ko." Jamna kaki said.

"Bilkul."

Any function was great opportunity to spend time with the Pandya family. Raavi got up and helped Dhara serve the tea. But before she could again sit with Shiva, Jamna kaki pulled her beside him. Raavi frowned.

"Raavi, woh mere behen ki beti hai. Ganga." Jana kaki introduced the other girl. "Recently graduation complete kiya hai isne. Bohot achhi ladki hai."

Raavi smiled at her. Then Jamna kaki moved closer to her and started whispering in her ear.

"Main chahti hu Ganga ki shaadi Shiva se ho jaye. Tu toh Shiva ki dost hain. Usse puch na use Ganga pasand hai ya nahi."

Raavi was furious. How dare she bring a marriage alliance for her Shiva? Shiva was only hers. She looked at Dhara who was very engaged in talking to Ganga. Dhara's smile told her she liked the girl. Shiva was too looking at them talking. His eyes landed on Ganga and he smiled at something she said. Raavi's blood started boiling. He loved her! He belonged to her! So why was he smiling at Ganga? Raavi got up and pulled Shiva with her, then she dragged Shiva with her to the storeroom. She locked the room and glared at him.

"Yeh kya tha? Kya sochenge sab? Sabke saamne aise kheenchke kyu layi?" Shiva asked.

"I don't care!" Raavi shouted. "Tu kya kar raha tha? Uss Ganga ki baato pe itna smile kyu kar raha tha?"

"Ab mujhe smile karne ke liye bhi teri permission leni hogi?"

"Mere saamne toh muh fulake baitha rehta hai aur uske liye itna smile!"

"Teri problem kya hai?" Shiva shouted.

"Problem hai. Tu sirf mera hain. Mujhe nahi pasand koi tere liye rishta laye." Raavi shouted.

"Ae gadheri, kya baar baar tera hu bolti rehti hai? Nahi hu main tera. Tune Dev ko choose kiya hai toh Dev ke saath khush reh. Mere matter mein mat par."

Raavi was even more angry now. She grabbed his collar and pulled him closer. "Tu mera hain."

Shiva pushed her away and was about to leave but Raavi pulled him back and slammed her lips against his. Shiva was shocked at her action and remained frozen to spot. Raavi wrapped her arms around him. After a second, Shiva's arms snaked around her waist and he pulled her closer. He pushed his tongue in her mouth and Raavi imitated his movements. Her body was flushed against the wall and their tongues explored each other's mouth. His arms caged her and his tongue trailed down to her neck. Raavi quickly flipped their position and started sucking his neck. She selected one spot and sucked on it hard. When she stopped, she saw a red mark there. She smiled.

"Dekh, tu mera." She pointed out the hickey to him. "Koi nazar daalke toh dikhaye tujh pe."

Shiva was confused for a minute then Raavi saw his expression turning furious. He grabbed her and slammed her against the wall.

"Yeh sab kya hai? Mere saath game kyu khel rahi hai? Aur kya chahti hai tu? Pura pagal ho jau? Pyaar aur shaadi tujhe Dev se karni hai par haq mujhpe jatana hai. Kiss mujhe karna hai. Boundaries maintain karne kaha tha tujhe. Tu kehti hai toh main zindagi bhar shaadi nahi karunga. Nahi karni mujhe shaadi. Tujhse pyaar karta hu aur humari shaadi ko bhi maana hai. Aur mere liye pyaar aur shaadi lifetime commitment hain."

"Tu abhi bhi maanta hai humari shaadi ko?" Raavi asked.

Shiva didn't answer.

"Main kya karu Shiva? Mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha. Bachpan se maine sirf Dev se pyaar kiya tha. Aur ek hafte pehle tak main sure thi ki main usi se pyaar karti hu. Aur ab sab kuch badal gaya hai. Tu itna important ho gaya hai mere liye. Par Dev..."

"Toh Dev ke paas jaa Ravi. Tu mere saath aisa nahi kar sakti. Mere liye kitna difficult hai socha hain? Yeh tera roz roz ka mood swings handle nahi hota. Aisa karti hai toh mann mein hope aa jati hai. Phir tu wapas chali jati hai Dev ke paas. Kitni baar dil todegi? Mujhse yeh sab handle nahi hota."

Raavi saw tears in his eyes and she was unable to held herself back any longer. Her tears started flowing and she cupped his face.

"Main tujhe hurt nahi karna chahti Shiva. Tujhe aise nahi dekha jata. Tu hurt hota hai toh main hurt hoti hu."

Shiva kissed her forehead and pulled her into a hug.

"Agar mujhe hurt nahi karna chahti toh phir yeh last time. Iske baad se humare beech kabhi aisa nahi hoga."

"Par tujhse dur rehna bardasht nahi hoga. Zaroorat hai mujhe teri." Raavi wept.

"Par Dev zyada important hai tere liye. Main nahi."

Raavi held him tighter. He ran his fingers through her hair and kissed the top of her head. Raavi let her arms around his back. If this was their last time, then she needed to remember what he felt like.

"Raavi, Raavi!" Dev called out.

Shiva pushed her away. "Tera Dev tujhe bula raha hai."

He left. Raavi quickly wiped away her tears and went outside. Dev had terrible timing. She wanted to be in Shiva's arms forever. Raavi walked towards Dev who looked like an over eager puppy. He hugged her. She was uncomfortable so she moved away quickly.

"Aaj main bohot bohot khush hu Raavi." Dev said. "Tumhe kuch special dikhana hai. Kisiko nahi pata abhi tak."

"Kya hai Dev?" Raavi asked.

Dev took out a box from his pocket and opened it to reveal a diamond ring. Raavi gasped. Her expression turned into that of panic as she realised he was going to propose to her. It finally dawned on her that she didn't want to marry Dev. Nor did she love Dev. She only loved Shiva. How had she been such a fool? She looked at Dev standing before her with the ring, waiting for her answer.

"Dev, no!" Raavi said. "Main Shiva se pyaar karti hu. Tumse nahi. Main tumse shaadi nahi kar sakti."

Raavi expected him to be angry, to shoot at her for leading him on but he just looked confused.

"Tumhe koi misunderstand hui hain. Yeh ring Rishita ke liye hai. Main use propose karne wala hu aaj." Dev said.

Raavi was too stunned. So all this pain has for nothing? She didn't love Dev, and even Dev didn't love her. Raavi felt like the biggest fool in the world. All this while she had kept Shiva away for Dev's sake. She didn't need to. Her knees turned to jelly and she almost fell down, but Dev caught her.

"Tum thik toh ho na?" Dev asked.

"Nahi. Main gadhi hu ek number ki. Shiva thik kehta hai." Raavi murmured.

"Kya?"

Raavi took a breath and composed herself. "Congratulations Dev. Ring bohot sundar hai. Use bohot pasand aayega."

"Thanks Raavi!" Dev smiled. "Tum sachhi mein Shiva se?"

"Haa. Par maine bohot zyada raita faila diya hai Dev. Sab thik kaise karungi?" Raavi asked.

"Jab Rishita naraz hoti hai toh main uske liye gift le aata hu. Phir thoda romance. Maan jaati hai."

"Dev tum abhi kisiko mat batana. Pehle mujhe Shiva ko manana parega."

Dev nodded. Raavi knew she had screwed up. She knew Shiva didn't care for gifts, but he definitely wouldn't say no to some romance. She was going to make up for every hurt she caused him. Now was the time for their happily ever after.
