~~~Xisuma's POV~~~

"Shashwami! We have a visitor!"

Keralis' faint voice was heard from above. I placed down my blue concrete blocks near Cleo's trap, planning to fix it later. I walked up to the exit, greeted by my fellow CEO. "I'm here Keral-" I paused for a moment....."F-False?"

The blonde looked at me with a warm, beautiful smile forming in her face. "Sup Xisuma!" She waved. Keralis gave me a sneaky nudge on my shoulder, smirking cheekily like an idiot. I shoved the hermit behind me before clearing my voice.

"I-so... What brings you here to our lovely warehouse?" I kept myself neutral, trying to forget the flush red face I had beneath my helmet.

False suddenly started fidgeting her fingers a bit, her smile faded away to a quite blank but nervous expression. "Actually X I was gonna ask if we can talk?" She stared again at Keralis, who's face was still smug and cheeky. "Alone?" She chuckled a bit.

"Ohhh, of course!" I calmly exclaimed. "This way."

We both walked towards our IDEA meeting room upstairs. Whilst walking, I quietly tried scolding Keralis to stop making fun of me, though it seems that he'll never end his lovey dovey rants! "Come on Shashwami, this is an opportunity to get the girl!" His eyes sparkled of excitement, like he was some anime character!

"Oh shut up Keralis, now is not the time!" I tried whispering, fortunately False was already in the room, so she won't here our conversation. "Come on Shashwami, you know Ex Shashwami also has feelings for her. So if I were you I would get her before he does!"

Still not use to hearing Ex called that way....he was right. This would be an opportunity to get her, but at the same time I don't want to hurt his feelings in the process.... "Well.... I will have to listen to what she wants to talk about before I confess, so now is not the time." I calmly smiled before entering the room.

Leaving Keralis to wait outside.

I quietly sat on my chair, waiting patiently for her to start. " So what is it that you want to talk about?"

But False looked hesitant, maybe a bit flustered! She still kept playing with her fingers. This was a side of her that I rarely see, she's mostly a confident, determined woman. Although.... Her flustered side was a bit cute in her-

GAHHHH! X, NOW IS NOT THE TIME!!!

My I was blushing red by the thought before she finally spoke up. "I wanna confess something...." She mumbled.

My heart started thumping hard, there was so much hope in me, but I didn't want to put it too high. "Confess something? What is it you wanna confess?" I asked again, but my body still felt tensed, waiting for her response was killing my curiosity.

She gave a deep sigh, putting both hands together on the table. Her eyes were still close, trying to compose herself. She finally gave a small smile as she opened her eyes......

"There is this feeling that I feel, everytime I'm with Ex...."

My soul shattered like 3000, and my heart froze. My body no longer felt tensed, it felt tired, and nowhere near relief..... "R-Really huh?" I tried keeping my voice casual. "Kindly describe these feelings you feel?" I smiled calmly.

"Well.... I know I've been hanging around with Ex for a while, helping him out and stuff to feel accustomed to hermitcraft. But a about a week ago, there were times my heart started pumping every time he's near me, and my face felt so warm that Ex thought I had a fever or something." She chuckled from that last comment.

"And....I felt a bit nervous to talk to him ever since. I've been staying away from him for a week now, excusing myself because of projects and stuff in the fantasy district....but I think that's just hurting his feelings a bit...." Her expression saddened a bit.

There was this aching feeling I felt in my chest, tightening. I felt like leaving this room now, excusing myself for some stupid project, I did not want to see her!..... But she's also a friend, a hermit, I can't leave her like this, confused of her feelings.

I chuckled softly, forming a small yet genuine smirk on my face. "So your in love with Exy?" I raised my eyebrow. Her face went bright red before face palming head first on the table.... "Mwhyy?" Her muffled voice responded.

I continued giggling, walking towards her chair to give her a pat on the back. "Relax False, I'm pretty sure he feels the same way." I felt bitterness whilst saying that but I continued to giggle anyway.

"Yeah right!" She whined, trying to compose back her calm expression. "Why don't you give him something? You know, express your feelings without even saying a single word?" I suggested.

"But.... Ex doesn't really talk about himself much. Only thing I know he likes is you and his cat." She sighed, frowning.

Okay! I was caught off guard when she included me!

"Lucky for you, you're talking to an Ex expert." I winked, pointing my thumb on me. "What he likes are really common; cookies, cats, especially Oliver-"

"He's gay for Mumbo?!" She exclaimed!

"Wait-wha- huh?" I suddenly realized my mistake, I couldn't help but embarrassingly giggle. " NONOO! The cat's name is Oliver!" I panicked. But we both couldn't help ourselves but burst into laughter. "Why Oliver though? We will end up so confused?" Her laughter echoed through the meeting toom.

My heart warmed up as I watched False laugh, her happy expression never failed to make me smile, even if she had feelings for someone else....

After we stopped laughing, False stood up and gave me a firm little hug. " Thanks again X, I owe you one."

I felt my heart in pain but at the same time, bouncing for joy, sharing False back a hug. "What are friends for I guess...." I mumbled softly to myself....

Finally letting go of the hug, she bid me farewell, insisting that she already knows how to get out.... A few moments after her departure, Keralis came in with this concerned look on his face. "You heard our conversation, didn't you?

His head slowly nodded.

"As Mumbo Jumbo always says and I quote.......ohhhh....."

I couldn't help but let out a shaky chuckle, getting my pickaxe from my inventory. "Well then, I'll continue removing the tra-" my sentence was blocked off by an unexpected hug from the hermit.

"No forget the stupid trap, you are not at your very best aren't you?" He questioned, leaving us in stunned silence. Without hesitation, I gave a little nod. "Why not take a day off or something? Bubbles will be arriving at anytime so me and him will go block off the trap." He smiled softly.

"Your making it sound like this is deeply affecting me." I teased.

"Well, is it deeply affecting you?"

"............"

~~~Keralis' POV~~~

I finally let go of the hug, leaving X quite umm.... Speechless.... "How about we take break? I can go get the tea!" I exclaimed, running off towards the exit.

"Don't break the tea set!" X remarked, snickering. " I won't!" I whined.

After exiting the meeting room, I swear to God I heard a small sniffle was heard from the room. I didn't need to check to know who that is. "Shashwami....." I mumbled before smiling to myself. "Don't worry Shashwami, me and Bubbles got your back....."

Yeah... Making stories about X is just... Is just fun.

Also I'm listening to the song Knees whilst writing the story, which makes things even sadder for me.
