Writer's pov :

               Anjali woke up from her bed thinking how to escape from going to college. She started thinking and got a sudden plan, she immediately layed on her bed covering the quilt till her head. After 30 minutes, her mom entered her room to see whether she got ready or not. 

After seeing Anjali, she started shouting, " Hey Anjali, wake up. Time is already 8." she uncovered her quilt and started shaking her to wake up. 

Anjali lightly opened her eyes and said, "Ma, leave me. I didn't get any sleep till 5. Please ma, allow me to sleep." she told rubbing her eyes to make it as real. 

"What happened? Why didn't you get  sleep? " Anu, her mom asked touching her forehead to check whether she has a fever. 

" I don't know ma, literally I am very tired now, please leave me. " Anjali said like begging her which made little suspicious. 

" Okay, come on get ready, we will go to the hospital and then I will drop you at your college. " Anu told making Anjali almost curse her plan. 

" You never change mom, it's nothing that much serious to visit the hospital. If I get sleep, I will be okay mom. " Anjali yelled at her. 

" I know you more than anyone darling. I know your ways so just get up and ready fast otherwise Aadhi will shout at you for getting late. Whatever you try, it's going to flop so don't try anything and come fast down. " Anu said walking towards the exit of the room. Anjali sighed, got ready and went downstairs to see Aadhi was glaring at her already. 

" I don't have time to wait for you till you finish your breakfast, just come with me. I will buy you something in the canteen. " Aadhi said standing from the coach annoyed. Anjali was moving with him without saying anything. 

Anu came in front and stopped them, " She will faint Aadhi, just wait for 3 minutes, she will eat it quickly. I don't want her to leave with an empty stomach. Anjali come, eat it quickly. " she said placing 2 idly in her plate with white color chutney. Anjali starred at her mom and started eating slowly to slow up the process. 

" Ma, she is purposefully making me angry. Look how fast she is eating her food? Varun bro asked me to come fast for some preparations but now everything is gone because of this useless girl. " Aadhi said gritting her teeth while taking his things in his hand and went out. Anjali quickly finished her breakfast and went outside the home to see Aadhi is waiting for her still showing daggers at her. 

" Don't ride fast Aadhi. Bye, take care." Anu, his mom said waving her hand towards them. Anjali didn't even opened her eyes because of the speed he is driving, she tightly held his waist to not fall from the bike. Within ten minutes, they reached the bike-stand of the college. 

    Without saying anything, Aadhi left with his bag to meet Varun. Anjali is squeezing her hand to think of some other plan. She decided to hide in the bike-stand itself without going to her class. After 5 minutes, Bala parked his bike in the stand and Anjali didn't notice him since she was looking into her mobile deeply. Bala noticed her and called her by her name taking his bag in his shoulder and started moving towards her. Anjali startled at her place after seeing him. 

"Why are you sitting here. Time is already nine. Come " Bala said making her scare. 

" I will come, you go first. " she showed her full teeth to him which caused doubt to him. 

" Are you looking for anyone? Tell me who is that? I don't tell anyone. Who is that lucky guy? " Bala asked eagerly placing his hand on his pocket. 

" Do you seriously think that someone will fall for me after seeing this face? " she showed her index finger to her face asking him. 

Bala laughed at her and said," I too think the same then why are you waiting here? "

Anjali sighed and said," Fine, you won't leave me until I say the reason right? I don't want to come to class and especially to the blood camp. That idiot Aadhi gave my name without asking me so I am trying to hide here but you caught me because of my unfavorable luck. " Anjali said pouting her lips holding her mobile phone tightly. 

" Hahahahahahahahahahaha, you would have told me, I could have given you a better idea. Anyone can find you easily here. Go and hide in the foremost corner of the library, no one will come to the library today " Bala said smirking at her. 

Anjali hugged him and said," You are great Bala. I will buy you two pizza today evening. Love you bye" and started running to the library. Bala laughed at her and started walking to his class. 

Varun arranged everything for the camp in a conference room by placing chairs and tables to place the necessary items. He ordered his few class members to occupy those seats since they are the ones who going to process the test. He was very busy running here and there for his work, meanwhile, Aadhi approached him. They both smiled at each other. 

"Sorry, bro. I was little late. Do you need any help now? " Aadhi asked walking with Varun to match his speed. 

" Everything is arranged. Now do one thing. Go and approach representative of final year class and ask him to come with their class members who are given their names. If they ask about you anything, just tell me that I asked you to tell them. " Varun said moving fastly entering into the department. Aadhi nodded his head and started running to the final year class. Everything was going according to their plan, even professors have given their blood to show their interest. 

In the classroom, Bala, Vaishu, and Rohini were chatting since there is no class till afternoon. 

"Where is Anjali? She didn't informed me about taking leave? " Vaishu asked in between their conversation taking her mobile from her bag. 

" She is in college only, don't call her. She will come at the right time. " Bala told thinking of a plan to catch her. Aadhi entered the class asking the students to reach the conference hall. Everyone moved, Aadhi reached his row. He looked around to see everyone except Anjali. 

" Where is Anjali? " Aadhi asked Bala knowing she couldn't have reached the conference room this early.

" We don't know. She took leave I think. " Vaishu said making eye contact with him. 

" What? I dropped her in a bike stand in the morning. Till now, she didn't came here? " Aadhi asked confused. Vaishu nodded her head. 

Bala came closer to him and whispered slowly making sure the girls won't hear the conversation," I know where is she. I will tell you but with one condition. I want a chicken biryani today. You have to come with me tonight and buy me that. If you accept, I will tell you. " 

Aadhi sighed and nodded at him. Bala smiled and said proudly," She is hiding in the library. I am the one asked her to hide there. " 

Aadhi looked at him in shock and said," You are truly a best friend for her. Keep it up. " Aadhi tried to walk from there to go to the library but suddenly Bala grabbed his hand. 

" Don't tell her I am the one who told you her hiding place. She told that she will buy me pizza if the plan works. I will make her buy even if it fails but you don't spoil my plan. " Bala requested him which makes Aadhi glare at him and he nodded his head and went out. 

" What were you telling him so secretly? " Vaishu asked once Bala moved towards them. 

" That's a secret. Come, we will move. Aadhi will join us in a few minutes." Bala said keeping his bag under the desk safely. They start moving to the conference hall. 

At library,

Anjali was sitting at the corner reading a novel since they should not use their mobile phones in the library.

" What are you doing here? " someone asked her from behind. Anjali closed her eyes thinking about the person and she slowly started turning her head to see Varun standing there with his raised eyebrows. She smiled at him nervously thinking what to tell him. 

" I... I was just reading books here. Why are you here at this time? You have so many works right? " Anjali said trying to turn his attention towards him. 

" I came here to meet the librarian sir. Reading novels? You didn't find any medical books here? And give your blood first and then you can read books as many you want. " Varun said seeing she didn't even move from her place a little. 

Anjali sighed and dropped her plan and started begging him. 

" Can you help me, please. I do whatever you say. I don't want to give my blood. Please please, Varun. Take my name from that list. " Anjali said holding his hand making him uncomfortable suddenly. He was shocked by her sudden confession. 

" Then why you gave your name? I can't do anything now, I submitted the list already. What happened? " Varun said trying to make her calm. 

" I didn't give my name. Aadhi wanted to write my name without my consent. I tried many ways to stop him but he didn't listen." Anjali said pouting her lips. 

Varun gave a sympathetic look and said, " It's okay. Tell me what's your problem, I will try to clear. Why you don't want to give your blood? " Varun asked her calmly leaving all his work behind. 

"I just simply don't want it. Please Varun, help me. " Anjali said. Varun liked her way of calling his name. 

"It's not a reason for your disapproval. Tell me the exact reason and it's very tough to take your name from the list." Varun said diverting his eyes from her to his phone since it was vibrating a long time. 

"I... I was scared of....... " Anjali closed her eyes not able to complete her words fully. 

Varun widened his eyes after getting the meaning of what she is going to tell. He suddenly replied stopping her," Don't tell me that you are scared of needless like a small kid. " Anjali smiled sheepishly and slightly nodded her head. 

" Oh god, you are going to become a doctor in less than 5 years but here you are behaving like a child. " Varun said still not believing her. 

" I heard those same things from my mother this morning. I am tired of getting advice so instead of advising me, please help me. "  Anjali said keeping her hands in her hip. 

Varun sighed and said," I can't take your name but I can do a favor for you. No other way to escape from this. Come with me. " he said dragging her hand with him. 

Aadhi didn't go to the library since he was called by some senior to give him the name list of his class. Meanwhile, Aadhi, Vaishu, Bala, and Rohini gave their blood and went out. Bala and Rohini went to the canteen to have something to eat. Aadhi going to the library with Vaishu to search for Anjali. 

While walking through the corridor, they both met Varun along with Anjali coming in their opposite direction. They stopped in their position after watching them. Varun and Aadhi shared a smile. 

"Where have you been till now Anjali? It's going to end, go soon. " Vaishu said raising her eyebrows at Anjali. 

" Don't worry, I will take care, you continue with your works. Anjali come with me. " Varun said started moving from her place. 

" Take care of her bro. She is smart in escaping from you" Aadhi said turning to his side. Varun smiled and nodded his head and went along with Anjali. 

" If you have any work, go ahead. I am having some work in the library " Aadhi asked Vaishu looking at her. 

" I don't have any work. If you don't mind, I will accompany you. " Vaishu said holding her bag tightly praying God that he would accept her offer. Aadhi nodded his head and started moving to the library. 

They both sat in the chair grabbing some medical books. Vaishu started making a conversation by asking some doubts since she doesn't know how to make him talk back. He explained everything clearly which made Vaishu had goosebumps in her body. She thought herself that, "If he teach me like this, then I will become a topper."

In a conference room, Varun placed Anjali in one of the chairs making her more nervous. She looked at Varun with her puppy face to show her some sympathy. Varun occupied the opposite chair holding the necessary things in his hand. 

"I don't want to do this Varun. Please let me go from here. " Anjali begged Varun who is putting gloves in his hand. 

" Just calm down. I won't do anything." Varun said taking her hand. Meanwhile, her phone was ringing. Varun asked her to attend the call but she denied. Again it's started ringing, she hesitantly attended the call. 

"Hello, who is this? " Anjali asked annoyingly looking at Varun. Varun showed his hand to his face to mention her to look at his face only. 

" Is this Anjali? I am Prakash. Do you know me? " the other voice spoke making her confused. Anjali was looking at his face trying not to look at her hand.

" Yes, I am Anjali but I don't know you." Anjali said firmly looking at Varun since she felt the needle sting in her hand which was not that much pain so she continued to listen in the phone call. 

" I am studying at your college and I am your senior. I like you from the first day you entered this college. Shall we meet today ? " the other voice spoke making her shocked. In the meantime, Varun finished his work and looked straight to her that 'you are done' look. 

Anjali covered her phone and whispered to Varun," Someone is asking me to meet him today. He told that he likes me. What do I say now? " 

Varun controlled his laugh and asked her the phone. She gave him a confused look. 

Varun placed the phone in his ear and said," It's over. You can come now " and cut the call making Anjali more confusing. 

" You know him? " Anjali asked out of curiosity. Varun nodded his head and started laughing. Karthik appeared in front of them having a juice bottle with him. He gave the drink to Anjali which she immediately grabbed from his hand. 

" What is happening here? I don't understand anything. Why are you laughing continuously? " Anjali said opening her juice bottle and started drinking without waiting for the answer. 

" Nothing. He is the one called you to divert your attention. Drink the full juice and you can go after that. " Varun said standing from his place.

Anjali now only started realizing the things that happened and she was embarrassed looking at both of them standing in front of her. She looked at Varun and thanked him, he nodded his head and went with Karthik outside the conference hall. Anjali completed her drink and went outside thinking about the same thing and lost in her dreamland. She started falling for him slowly. 

In the library, Vaishu started talking about the things out of studies. Aadhi replied to her without any hesitation in his tone. 

"Tomorrow is Bala's birthday. Do you have any idea? We have to plan something to make him surprise. " Aadhi asked Vaishu still looking at his book. 

" Really, I don't know that. We will cut  cake in his home and will go to the movie tomorrow evening. Is that okay? " Vaishu asked him even knowing the answer clearly. 

Aadhi raised his eyebrows and said," Cutting cake at his house is okay but I will not come to the movie. "

"Why don't you come to the movie? I know you don't waste your time but it will be nice if you come with us tomorrow and it will be a big surprise for Bala. " Vaishu said looking at the book in front of her. 

" We will try in the future but not tomorrow. We will think of some other plan for tomorrow. " Aadhi said like having no interest in this topic that much. Meanwhile, Anjali reached them and sat beside Vaishu silently. Aadhi saw her hand, still she was holding that juice bottle without throwing it in the dustbin. He sighed and sat silent. 

" Why are you sitting here? Where is Bala and Rohini? " Anjali whispered slowly to Vaishu making sure that Aadhi will not hear her. 

" They went to the canteen. I had some doubts and Aadhi cleared them. Hey, one more thing, tomorrow is Bala's birthday. Do you have any idea?" Vaishu said making Aadhi hear her. 

" Wow, great. We will go to his house at night 12 and make him surprise. " Anjali said excitedly. 

Aadhi glared at her and said," Even your idea looks like you. How will your parents allow you at midnight? " Anjali started thinking and looked at Vaishu, she shook her head as no telling she will not come. 

" We will discuss with Rohini and then decide. We will go to his home after college without making him know. Think about a gift and tell me, we will buy it tomorrow. " Aadhi said standing from his place and went out. 

After some time, Bala and Rohini reached Anjali and Vaishu who was waiting for them outside the library. The day went off like Anjali said, she bought 2 pizza for Bala which made him jump in happiness. 

Similarly, Aadhi went out with Bala in the evening to buy him chicken biryani. Anjali and Vaishu are dipped in their own dreams thinking of their prince. Anjali still didn't talked to her dad because of her anger towards him. Later, they planned something for Bala's birthday to make him remember this birthday without forgetting.
