Writer's pov :
           In the morning, Anjali as usual got ready to college early and went down. She had her breakfast and they both reached the college. Anjali was very happy to see Vaishu there so she ran towards her and hugged her. Aadhi saw her and gave her a small smile.
            
During the break, Anjali said some reason to everyone and went to canteen to search for Varun. Finally she found him and slowly she moved towards him but Varun ignored her and started moving so she ran and stood before him.

He asked seeing her breathing heavily, "What do you want now?"

"I’m sorry Varun for my yesterday's outbreak. I just felt some insecurity after knowing that you will leave me. I know there must be some reasons behind that so I apologize for my behavior" she said.

He laughed at her and said, "Fine Ms. Understanding Queen. I have work so come let's go." So they both went to class.
         
Next day, Krishna and Anu planned for Aadhi-Anjali birthday celebration. They thought to invite their friends too.
              
During dinner, Krishna asked their kids about tomorrow plan and they both said nothing.

"Shall we go for dinner because me and your mom has a conference tomorrow morning so we can’t be here" Krishna said to them.

"No problem, dad. We shall go for dinner and we too have to prepare for our viva" Aadhi said. Anjali glared at him and continued her dinner.
             
Anjali slept at 11 and her phone started ringing. To her surprise, it was Varun.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANJALI" he said. She thanked him and he spoke for few minutes. After that Bala, Vaishu and Rohini were in conference call with Aadhii and Anjali.

They all screamed, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY AADHII N ANJALI" They thanked them and went to sleep.

In the morning, Anjali got ready and went down to meet her parents but they are also busy getting ready to hospital. Even though she know about this, she got little disappointed. She came there with smile and got their blessings.
               
Krishna kissed her forehead and wished her. Anu also kissed and wished her then Aadhi came and got his blessings. They both went to work.

Since it was a weekend, they spend the day in home. Anjali got bored and went to Aadhi room who was busy in studying.

She went in and asked, "Aadhi, I’m bored so shall we go somewhere with friends"

"I don’t know. All are busy preparing for viva. We can celebrate our birthday next year too but viva is important now" he said. She sighed and went out. She closed the door with a bang sound in frustration.

She went and made a video call to Bala and asked him to come home.

"Sorry Anjali I can’t come because I want to...." "you want to?"  "play pubg with my friends" She scolded him after that and kept her mobile down. Even Varun hadn't attended her call making her more sad.

             
Krishna and Anu came early in the evening, Anu called them both down. She bought them dress and gave it to them. She asked them to wear and get ready for dinner.
 

They all reached the restaurant and it is a very nice place. When they all entered a room, the dim lights started to glow and they heard loud claps and cheers sound circling them. Both of them were really shocked and excited. Anjali saw her friends and ran towards them and hugged everyone then Aadhi also came there and greeted everyone.

The party begins everyone started to come, Krishna and Anu introduced their kids to their friends. They bought the cake.

Aadhi and Anjali was shocked to see it.

"You are our prince and princess who filled our life with full of love and happiness" Anu said hugging them both.
           
After cake cutting, Anu and Krishna gave their gifts. Aadhi opened and saw the guitar. He looked at them smiling and played a song. Bala looked at him surprised because they didn't know about his talent. Later, Anjali opened her gift and saw a key. She immediately guessed and hugged them both.

"You don't have to drop me at college hereafter" she said turning towards Aadhi while all the others laughed at her.
    
Next, Bala and Rohini gave their gifts. Vaishu gave them both a matching watch. Varun came forward and handed them both a separate gift. He asked them to open so they opened it. Their names carved on the platinum bracelet.

"It's beautiful Varun bro. Thanks a lot" he said hugging him. Anjali just smiled at him in return. Then the party started.

Anjali and Aadhi went with their friends and talked for few minutes. Varun dragged her to the corner and talked with her. He then gave her another gift.

"What! You already gave it Varun" she said still opening it. She saw chocolate box and jumped with joy.

"How you know that I like chocolates?" she asked him.

"You are not different from any other children so I just guessed it" he said laughing. Anjali hitted him.

"Anyway, thank you so much for all the surprises" she said.

"It's completely Anu ma's idea so thank her and don't try to fight with her anymore" he said.

"Definitely" she said and dragged him to the dining area. She ate with him.

Everyone started moving after the dinner. Then they made Anjali dance at the center of the hall. Later, her friends are all joined with her including Aadhi. Vaishu behaved normal with Aadhi as she don't want to make him suffer more but Aadhi continuously watched her activities. They all left to home.
          
After changing Anjali went to Aadhi's room and knocked but he didn't respond anything.

"Aadhi, you idiot, open the door right now" she yelled banging the door.

"Wait let me fresh up and come" he said simply so she waited for few minutes and then he opened the door. Anjali jumped on to the bed. 

"Where is my bday gift?" she asked holding her gift for Aadhi.

"I didn’t buy anything for you" he said making her angry but made a sad face. He laughed at her expression.

"Wait" he went to his cupboard and took her gift which is wrapped beautifully. She asked him to sit near her and then they both exchanged their gifts.

She asked him to open both at the same time so they both opened and laughed at their coincidence as they both bought a brand new watch for each other.

"I thought you will buy some books to irritate me but this is very beautiful and love you Aadhi" Anjali exclaimed.

"I too love you my little stupid sister" said Aadhi and they both laughed.  They wished once again and went to sleep.
           
Next few days went quickly preparing for their viva.

A week later,
          Viva started in attendance order. Aadhi and Bala did well. Next, Anjali went in.
          
Three professors were sitting in chair. She made her excuse and took her seat and introduced herself. She sat there nervously.
           
First professor started, "So what are all the diseases caused by smoking?" Anjali thought it was an easy question.

"Mostly lung cancer and bronchitis, if they have asthma, then tobacco can cause an attack" she said and he nodded.
           
Then the next man looked at her thinking something and asked, "Where is hilum located in our body? And what it is?" he asked.

Anjali remembered the scene when Varun explained her about hilum, she even asked him that why did they gave this name instead of helium. Varun laughed and asked her to listen.

"It’s in the kidney part, the renal hilum is the hilum of kidney where the vessels, nerves and ureter pass through" she said. He looked amused at her answer.
         
Final one seems to be very strict. He asked, "what causes meningitis?"

She knew the symptoms and treatment but couldn’t able to recognize its causes. She thought for a while but didn’t find it. "Virus?" she asked him doubtly.

He raised his eye brows "Only Virus?  he asked.

"Maybe bacteria too" she said while fidging her fingers.

"Maybe?" he asked. She smiled at him without knowing what to tell.

"You need to be clear Ms.Anjali. We can’t decide with your confused state" he said.

"Virus ... and... bacteria confirm" she said.
        
"Okay fine but there is one more thing too. I guess you don’t know so do remember hereafter. It is caused by virus, bacteria and fungus" he said smiling at her.

Finally, viva got over and they all are happy. They started to prepare for exams.

Now all are busy in preparing for the exams, sometimes they used to do group study in their college and Aadhi used to clear all their doubts. As usual Anjali will study with the help of Varun. She used to call him thrice a day to tell ask him doubts as Varun is also busy in preparing.

He will quickly clear her doubts and concentrate on his studies. Sometimes she will ask him for a group study but he will not accept if she comes then he can’t study so he will say some lame excuses but Anjali was adamant to go to his home so he finally accepted.
             
Next day, Anjali informed her parents, got ready, took her bike and somehow she managed to find the address by using Google map. She rang the bell and there comes Varun in his casuals.

He welcomed Anjali then took her inside and told her to sit on the couch. He bought some juice and snack then they had some talks and they started to study. Anjali then asked her doubts to which Varun explained it to her clearly. Sometimes she will not understand that time but he will explain to her slowly so that she can understand clearly.
           
Time flew like that. Anjali stomach growled indicating of their lunch time which they didn't notice till now. Varun muttered 'shit' under his breath.

Anjali asked "what happened?"

"I didn’t cook anything for lunch" he said.
Anjali was shocked, "What? Why there is no one here to cook?"

Varun replied, "Cook is on leave so I have to cook. Wait, let me buy you something to eat"

"Wait, let me cook something for both of us" she said.

"Do you know how to cook?" he asked.

She laughed and said, "Wait n Watch" She asked for the kitchen and then went in and searched in the counter. She prepared pasta.
                

She took pasta and put in a bowl to boil and waited for it. On that time, she prepared other things. Varun was surfing on his phone and then he heard a loud noise from the kitchen. When he entered Anjali was screaming with pain holding her hand in the water and pasta was all over the floor.

He rushed towards her and asked, "What happened to you? Why are you screaming?" then he noticed her hand.

"What have you done Anjali?  I told you to not cook. Now see what happened and what will I say to uncle and aunty?" he scolded her.

She said, "Don’t worry it's nothing, they will not scold you instead they will scold me bcoz they know abt my carelessness and sorry for creating a mess here"

"That’s okay" he smiled at her answer.

"Come let me put some ointment in your hand first, then I will clean this mess." he said.

After putting cream he went and cleaned the mess.

Varun asked "Is noodles okay for you?" she nodded in reply. Then after sometime he prepared noodles with veggies she had cut. He bought in two bowls she ate and they studied for sometime.

Varun accompanied as she had to ride alone. Then they reached her house. Varun spend some time there talking with aunty and went home.

Today is their first exam, everyone was little bit tensed but as usual Aadhi was calm.

Bala asked, "we all are tensed but how are you like this?"

"Relax man, we have studied, then why tension at last minute so be calm and recollect everything" Aadhi replied and he nodded.

All were in separate rooms except Bala and Anjali. Exam begins. Bala started writing but Anjali didn’t even touched her paper as she was thinking something. Bala noticed and signalled her. She said nothing and started writing.

She sang a song and started writing, invigilator noticed her activities and warned her. Seeing this Bala laughed at her. She gave a death glare. Like this all exams went well. Atleast any two of them will be in same class and others in separate classes.
     
On the last day of exam, Bala and Anjali were in same class. When he was speaking to Anjali, Varun entered inside and sat beside Anjali noticing his seat number. Anjali got happy and Varun just smiled at her.

Varun didn't even turned his head to Anjali side because of his continuous writing. Bala was drooling over some senior and Anjali too started writing without minding about Varun. Exam gets over and they shouted in joy.
   
All were in a video conference call and talking random things.

Anjali asked "Guys can we go on a trip for a week."

"That’s a great idea. We all can have fun and feel relaxed’ said Bala. Vaishu and Roshini convinced their parents somehow.

In the evening, Anjali asked,"Dad we got bored so we are planning for a trip with our friends. Will u please give us permission" 

Krishna asked,"Who are all coming and where are you going?" Aadhi replied him.

"Fine. If you are okay, then ask Varun to come with you. He is matured and handle everything perfectly than you people" he suggested. Anjali jumped in happiness.

"Then it's time to convince Varun" Aadhi said.

They both went to Varun house and Varun was surprised them.

"Welcome, why this sudden visit?" Varun asked.
        
"We all are planning on a trip for 1 week so we want you to come with us." Anjali said.

"What! Why me ! No I can’t come. You all go with ur plan" said Varun.

"No you have to come with us if you're not coming, then we won't go" Anjali said.

"What is the connection between me and trip" asked Varun.

"Dad asked us to pick you up as you're elder and matured than us" Anjali said.

"Bro, please come with us. If you want, you can bring your friends too" Aadhi pleaded him.

"I need to ask my dad" he said.

"Mom will take care of that so you don't worry" Anjali said. He nodded and called his friend Karthik and Riya. They both accepted.

With much excitement, they went to home and booked the ticket. They all discussed everything and packed their luggages.
