A/n pov:

The lift opens and raj came out all distressed and sad as Yatharth's words were still roaming inside his mind

After having fight and arguments......Yatharth gave Raj an ultimatum....
Raj came back to his penthouse after that argument....With these thoughts he entered the passcode and came inside his house to be greeted my the maids..

Maid: Sir you are back

Raj: Yeah...did ma'am came out of her room today? Did she eat something?

Maid: ma'am didn't come out of her room but asked for the lunch.....and after that she told us to leave her alone

Raj: Oh okay thank you for your hard work

Maid: *bows* shall I serve you dinner?

Raj: Yeah but in some time..

Maid: Sure sir

Maid bows and raj nods and went straight towards the harsha's room
He stood in front of her room and knocked

Raj: jaan? Are you up?

There was no response from her so he decided to knock one more time

Raj: Harsha?

Still there was no response so raj decided to go inside...

He opened to door find the lights on but no one in the room

Raj: Jaan?

He called her one more time when he heard noises coming from the washroom which alerted him

He went towards the washroom and enters to find Harsha puking continuously which made Raj scared

Raj: Jaan?!

He quickly went near her and starts Patting her back while she continued puking...he tied her hair and Harsha started feeling dizzy and eventually passed out due vomiting too much

Raj: Harsha!!! Hey open your eyes...

He immediately held her bridal style and ran out of the washroom in a hurry towards the entrance

Time skips~
At hospital:

Raj was sitting outside waiting for Harsha who was admitted inside the ICU while the doctors were examining her..

He brought her to the hospital as he thought maybe something bad has happened to her..

Deep down he wasn't having a good feeling.....he was feeling like something big is waiting for him...and things will take a big turn..

His hands were shaking....so was his legs and he was feeling restless

Suddenly doctor came out of the ICU and raj immediately got up

Raj: Doctor what happened to her?? Is she okay?? Nothing serious right??

Doctor: relax Mr mehra... let's talk inside my cabin..

Raj: why what happened?

Doctor: nothing serious... please come with me..

Raj: Okay...

Time skips~

Raj was sitting in front of the doctor while she was checking some files..

Raj: what happened doctor..you said nothing is serious then why aren't you saying anything..

Doctor: Please relax...the thing is that you have to be very careful from now on regarding her health

Raj: huh?

Doctor: *smiles* because a new member is about to come......congratulations Mr mehra! Your wife Mrs Harsha is 1 week pregnant...and you are going to be a father now !!

Raj felt like he got stucked with lightning and the floor underneath him got pulled away...

His mind went black after hearing this information and the doctor continued

Doctor: She wasn't taking her meals properly as a result her body started getting weak and eventually led her to throw up.. but don't worry everything is under control now and I am prescribing some mild medicine to her....give her the meds on time....and feed her vitamin rich foods

Raj doesn't say anything as he was still processing what he just heard..

Doctor: also make sure she doesn't stress too much.....it will affect her and the baby

Raj came out from his thoughts and nodded

Raj: t-thank you doctor..

Doctor nods and raj got up from his seat while taking her reports..

He came outside the cabin and his feet started staggering..

He remembered yatharth's words

Yatharth: I am familiar with every inch of her...

Tears started building inside his eyes while he managed to control his steps...

He slowly walked towards her ward with his hands shaking while opening the door

He managed to pull the knob and entered inside to see Harsha still resting on the bed

He went towards her and fell in front of her while tears started rolling down his eyes

Today he was feeling like someone really took out his heart as he never expected things to turn like this...

He dreamt of starting a family with her but he lost that right now..

He was feeling too broken and helpless right now...

Time skips~

Harsha slowly opens her eyes to find her vision a little bit blurry but eventually everything cleared and she found herself laying on the hospital bed..

She slowly got up to see Raj standing in front of the window looking outside the glass with his hands in his pockets

Harsha: What.... happened...to me?

Raj slowly turned towards her as Harsha looked at him with squeezing eyes....

Raj: You are up....

Harsha: Yeah..but what happened to me?

He didn't say anything further and gave her the file which was placed on the table...

Harsha looked at him in confusion while opening the file and reads her reports...

Her eyes went wide when she read about her pregnancy but soon a smile appeared on her lips...

Harsha: M-main maa banne wali hu...or y-yatharth papa..

Tears of happiness started brimming inside her eyes as she touched her belly......feeling this happiness......trying to feel the little life growing inside her eyes and she closes her eyes...

Raj who was watching all these things...his heart ached so he turned around while controlling his emotions...

Then He turned back and when Harsha saw him she stopped smiling as she looked inside his eyes...

She knew how Raj was feeling right now but became sad as she remembers that she cannot go back to her Yatharth anymore..
Both looked down...no one said a word and remained silent for 5 minutes...

And then Raj finally decided to say something

Raj: ha---

He was about to say something but the door opened revealing the doctor..

Doctor: oh you are up...

She came near her and Raj started looking here and there..

Harsha: Yeah doctor

Doctor: let me check you then

She checks her heartbeat and asks some standard questions

Doctor: your reports are normal... everything is good.....you are fit.....but take your meals regularly since there's a life growing inside you now....

Harsha nods and replies

Harsha: Yeah...thank you doctor..

Doctor: Mention not...also Mr mehra you can take her home now..since everything is fine but before that fill out the discharge papers and she is ready to go

Raj: Okay doctor thanks..

She nodded and left that room while Raj looks towards Harsha...
