Iggy-cat's pov (Shakespeare)

I opened one eye and noticed the humans were no longer in bed. I stood up and stretched a little.

I yelped in pain from my side.

Hero jumped on the bed and looked at me worriedly, "you ok?" He asks softly.

I nod, "yes, I'm quite alright."

He nods and licks my cheek a little.

I blush slightly and purr softly.

He smiles and rubs his head under my chin.

"Can you two not mate on their bed? It's bad enough they mate there," Kuma says.

Hero lays his ears flat on his head.

I blush.

"Anyway, they're gone for the day. Food's in the kitchen. And don't eat the mochis," he says as he leaves.

He lays on the bed.

I lay beside him and purr softly.

He smiles and licks my head.

I giggle softly and purr.

He stands, "come on, lets go eat," he says as he stands.

I nod and follow him to the kitchen. There are five bowls set out with food in them.

Hero leads me to an emerald  green one, "this is yours. Enjoy," he says as he eats out of a blue one.

I look at the dry food and eat slowly. It didn't taste bad, but then again i can't taste much of anything... I glanced over at Hero, he was eating really fast.

I looked over at the window where Ita-cat was rolling in the sun rays. Germouser was sitting and watching him with a loving look. Ita-cat walks over and nuzzles him gently. Germouser purrs and licks his head gently.

I smile softly and continue eating.

Hero had finished eating and was waiting on me.

I finished and walked over to him.

He smiles and starts to show me around the house.

"This is the living room. We watch tv and have fun here. This is the bathroom. We use the big box in the corner. That's basically it. You've seen everything else." He says as he smiles.

I nod and sigh softly.

He licks me gently.

I smile and purr softly.

He motions me to follow him outside.

Once outside, he leads me to a giant hole filled with water. Humans call it a pool i think. He jumps into the shallow end and was swimming. I tilt my head to the side and watched him. He smiled and swam to the stairs of the pool. I walked over and carefully stepped in. It was freezing. He waited for me, silently encouraging me. Once in i swam slowly, not sure what i am doing.

He swam beside me and made sure i didn't sink.

Kuma jumped in and made a large splash.

I laughed loudly as i tried to swim.

Kuma swam closer to us and smiled.

Hero smiles and swims to the bottom of the pool and back up.

Kuma goes to a deeper end and does the same. Hero smirks and goes even deeper.

This continues until they reach the deepest part.

It's a tie.

I climbed out of the pool and looked at my dripping fur. I shivered a bit.

The human female, Alex i think, giggled at the sight of me. She had a strange cloth object in her hands. She wrapped it around me and picked me up. She pulled me close to her body, only the cloth and her shirt separating us. I nuzzled into the cloth, enjoying her warmth. I pureed softly.

She smiled and rubbed me with the cloth gently. I realized she was drying me off. Once inside again she set me on a plush, green dog bed. A blanket lay across it. I crawled under the blanket to get warm again.

I felt her pet me through the blanket. I purred and fell asleep.

(Now entering Shakespeare's dream)

I was in a dark cage. A man with black hair smirks at me through the bars.

"Aww is the little kitty scared? Aww is it because you saw your mommy get cut open? Well, you'll get to join her soon you little runt. Once my experiment is complete, i will have the ultimate life form!" He laughs.

I newest in fright and tried to scratch him. I successfully clawed his face. I ran. I made it to a chain link fence. There was a hole large enough for me to fit through. I darted through, cutting my side open. I mewed in pain and ran, even though i was bleeding rather badly.

When i woke up, Hero was licking my head, he looked worried.

"You ok dude? You looked like you were having a bad dream."

I couldn't help the tears that fell from my eyes. I cried into Hero's neck. He wrapped his tail around me and licked my ear.

When i finally stopped crying i told him about the doctor... the man who killed my mother and siblings for his 'experiment'. He listened intently and occasionally licked me when i needed comfort. When i finished my tale he didn't say a word. He just hugged me. Literally. He wrapped his front legs around my neck. We fell onto my bed, him on top of me. I blushed a bit but he just licked my cheek. He rolled so he was laying beside me. I used his stomach as a pillow. I didn't have another nightmare that night, nor any other.
