Chay hugged me. "Does what happened 3 years ago have anything to do with it?""

Chay new what happened. She has been my best friend since 3rd grade. She new everything about me.

"Y-yes.." I said.

"Is it because we are in the woods?" Chay asked. "Im sorry. We should have left when you became uncomfortable."

I looked up to see that Jeff wasn't there anymore. He was no where.

"Can we leave now?" I asked, wiping my tears away.

"Yes. Lets go." She said, putting her arms around my shoulder and walking back to her house.

That's what happens when you fall in love. You get hurt. You always get hurt. But I was 12. I was stupid.

When we got into Chay's room she started cheering me up with her weird conversations. I laughed Everytime she would stutter cause its funny.

We heard a knock at the front door and we walked down the stairs to see who it was. It was Kevin.

"Come on Laura. We gotta go sis." He smiled.

"But I don't wannaaaa." I whined.

"Come on child." He laughed and picked me up.

"Ugh. Bye Chay!" I smiled and waved.

She waved and laugh. "Bye!"

When we got in the car I looked at Kevin. He saved me. He is the best brother ever.

"Why are you staring at me?" He asked.

"Cause you saved me." I said.

He frowned and looked at me. "Please don't bring that up."

"Im sorry. Im just happy you were there at the time."

"I dread that. If I would've found you sooner your innocence wouldn't have been taken away at that young age." He looked down as his voice cracked.

"Its ok..." I frowned and looked down. "Lets go home."

He nodded and started the car. We drove home in silence.
