------
Role: "Wake me up when it's all over" (Jane's older brother)
Name: Judas Anderson
Nickname(s): Jude, J
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
FC: Corentin Huard
Personality: Judas is a lot of things. He's extremely stubborn and doesn't have the easiest temper these days. He's usually very upfront about most everything, but he's also extremely closed off and won't open up to people. He's a tough person to crack. He's far more sensitive than he'll lead you to believe and words go a long way with him. He's kind of a selfish dīck these days but can you blame him? He's smart but he doesn't always let it show. Not to mention that he isn't the most social person ever. He's reserved and keeps to himself. He can be distant, as his mind often wanders. Sure Judas sounds like a train wreck—and that's probably because he is—but his personality totally changed after everything that went down. It's rare to get the true, real Judas out of him, especially these days.
Jane
Strengths:
•His Sister: Jane had been a major strength in his life. He could rely on her and she was the one person he trusted more than anything. Now that she's gone, he isn't sure how he can ever be the same.
•Football: He's a stellar athlete and great at his sport. Fitness is his game and he can throw a football sixty yards.
•Music: Judas has loved music for the longest time. It has always been his thing, whether it's him with his earbuds in listening to it or if it's him playing his guitar and venting his pent up energy.
•Friends: Quite frankly his few close friends are the only thing keeping him together at this point.
•School: Judas isn't just a dumb jock. He's pretty smart and musically gifted. However, even his good grades are beginning to fail him.
Weaknesses:
•Opening up to People: This has become increasingly difficult since Jane died. He shuts people out and won't let them in. Won't let them help him.
•Drugs: Let's just state the obvious weakness and problem in his life. It's a fact.
•Parties: These days he's a stickler for finding some way to have a good time. Plus, showing up to a crazy high school party while high can certainly take an interesting turn
•Harsh Criticism: Though Judas tries to keep an open mind, words cut like knives sometimes. He can't take it when people say nasty things about him or give him extremely harsh criticism. He hates it and it tears him down.
•Saying No: Judas is the kind of guy who feels the need to please everyone, especially when he's broken down and hurting. He wants to appear like some perfect guy who isn't struggling. Whose life is perfect. He is so obsessed with what others think that he had a hard time saying no, simply because he wishes to please people and make himself seem better. Because of this, he's often used and led towards the wrong paths of life.
•Communication: He isn't one to openly communicate his feelings. He won't tell anyone what's up and he honestly has a bad time following through with his commitments. He'll sometimes forget to communicate that he can't make practice or that he can't be home at the right time and this gets him into trouble.
Backstory: Judas grew up quite happily. He couldn't have asked for anything better, quite frankly. He and Jane were close, she was his little sister and they did practically everything together. His life was that perfect 'picket-white-fence' kind of life. Everything was so, so perfect. Of course there are life's typical hardships but it wasn't terrible. Young love and stupid decisions with friends. He was a natural at football, one of the best. Quite frankly, many schools in the area were looking to recruit him. Then things started to go downhill the moment his parents got divorced. Out of nowhere too. He stuck by his sister and the two of them managed to deal with it together, but that was a major turning point in his life. It made him realize that perhaps everything wasn't as it seemed. Then Jane died, unannounced. Suicide, they said. Judas wasn't always mixed up with the right people. Often it was the wrong people, but popularity did that to you. He got mixed up in drugs, to cope with the pain. To cope with the heartache of losing his sister and best friend. One thing led to another and there were more drugs. Two to three different kinds. It began messing him up and he wasn't on top of his game anymore, both on and off the field. Judas felt he couldn't turn to his parents, couldn't rely on them. His life became extremely dysfunctional and the only thing that seemed to make it a tiny bit better was the high he could get. Pitiful, I know, but his picture perfect life fell apart. He's as broken as anyone else.
