Part 11-

"Maybe I could just"

"No" she interrupted "For the tenth time, no I am going to the meeting alone, ill be fine, then ill be home, with you, okay"

She opened the front door and then spoke again "A cup of tea on the table, for when I get home" she slammed the door behind her

"You'll come home right, Gauri, you'll come home to me" he whispered, then turned around and walked to their bedroom

Gauri looked down at her nails, blowing on them, she looked back up "So, this meeting, go on"

"What's to talk about, you want someone to make IT supplies, well we are your people, the form is signed"

Gauri looked down at the form "Okay, ive added some points, if you could just read through them"

The smile dropped from his face as he began to read "What do you mean I have to be a certain distance away from this workplace and your home"

"Oh sorry, thats the restraining order I got against you, which includes that you aren't allowed to contact this company, me or my husband"

"You think some flimsy order will keep me away"

She shrugged "Maybe, but you're nothing but an old man, hows that arthritis"

"How do you know about"

"Medical checks for everyone who works here, you are under my control now, dont you forget that, because I will rip you apart in seconds, imagine what would happen if the truth came out about the man that you are" she stood up, leaning toward him

"No one would believe you Gauri"

"Who would believe the deranged old man"

"Oh darling, you're messing with the wrong man, but take this as your one and only win, I will destroy Omkara, in ways you wont ever expect, and ill start with this" He began to pull at his belt, tugging it off, he threw it to the side and Gauri grabbed it

She stood on his foot harshly, his trousers fell down "Excuse me, excuse me, security, this man just pulled his trousers down infront of me, we dont accept nudity in the work place, could you escort him out please, oh and about further deals with this company, well, they are off the table, goodbye"

"You cant get rid of this meeting though, this deal"

"Watch me" she ripped up the paper as he was dragged away

"Omkara, im home" Gauri called "Omkara" she stopped, her stomach churning. Something was wrong, she gasped as he stepped from around the corner "God, Omkara, you scared me"

"How did it go, did he hurt you"

"No, and the business deal he had with us is now over, he displayed nudity in the office"

Omkara gulped "Did he try to"

She shook her head "No, he didnt even touch me and he wont"

His face darkened "I thought you werent going to come home, I thought"

"Where you are, ill always be, I promised, I wouldn't break that Omkara"

He sighed and stepped forward "Theres something I want you to see"

"Okay, what is it" she edged forward as he turned around

"No" she whispered "No"

"Disgusting isnt it, thats what he did to me, look at me, i'm a monster"

"I cant"

"I said look at me Gauri, damn it"

She sniffed, stepping back

"I said look at me" he roared

Gauri looked up at the red, bumpy scars and welts on his back, her eyes blurred by her tears

Still facing away from her, he closed his eyes "You still want that as your husband huh". He jumped as he felt her lips atop his scar, she gripped his hips, kissing every scar all the way down slowly, while muffling her sobs against his skin "Gauri, what are you doing, stop, I said stop"

She pulled away as he turned around, grabbing her arms

"What are you doing"

"Loving you" she raised her hand down his bare chest "All of you"

"How can you love me when I am so"

"Dont you dare say that, dont you dare Omkara, you are mine, my husband, the man I love, everything about you is beautiful and mine, I am crying because I know it hurts, not because I am disgusted"

She pulled away "You really think I would be disgusted" her voice broke as she let out a sob

"No, Gauri" he went to reach out for her, but she shoved him away

"No, dont touch me, how could you think that of me, you really think im that low, all of that just then, trying to make me angry, trying to push me away, is that what you want, because you're doing a damn good job of oomph" she let out as he pulled her to him

"Let me just" he begged

"Just what Omkara, make me out to be someone I am not, I love you, I would never ever do that to you, I would never try and make you call me fat on purpose, so why were you trying so hard to make me say something I didnt believe"

"Because I am not good enough for you, its been years Gauri, dont you want kids, dont you want to have sex"

"If I cant have them with you, I dont want them at all, I dont need them, I dont need sex, baring our souls to eachother is enough intimacy for me"

"But the kids"

She huffed "If kids are in my cards, then they are, but not right now, and thats fine, we have the rest of our lives, you are more important than having children". She relaxed her body into the wall, shaking her head as silent tears poured down her face "I cant do this anymore Omkara, I cant, I cant have you look at me like that"

He had known this moment would come, when she would walk away "Look at you like what"

"Like you want me to walk away"

Then there was silence, dead silence as they both looked into eachothers eyes

"Do you even love me Omkara, can you tell me that, can you"

He looked down, gulping "I love you Gauri"

"Oh god" she slid down the wall, tears pooling in her eyes "Thats it, thats all I have wanted to hear you say, im trying Omkara, im trying really hard here, and it isnt easy when you push me away, why wont you let me love you"

His voice was low, "Because look at what letting you love me has done to you"

She crawled forward, on her knees now, she looked up at him "No, Omkara, its not love thats done this, its you pushing me away when i want to love you, let me love you, please let me love you, let me show you how love can be"

Suddenly she was in his arms, being carried to their bedroom, he placed her down on the bed "Show me what love is, show me what it can be"

"Not like this Omkara, you're not ready" she knelt on the bed, picking his hand up, she snuggled into it

"I want to be ready Gauri, I look at you, I want you, I know I do, please just let us try" he rested his forehead against hers

"Okay, tell me if its to much" she lamented, her hands shook as they traced his muscles on his abdomen

His breaths came out in pants as she kissed down his chest. He pushed her down, climbing ontop of her, his lips on hers, her legs wound round his waist "I cant, I cant, Gauri, I cant" he pulled away, sitting on the edge of the bed "What's wrong with me"

"Its okay Omkara, its okay, youve already come so far, you let me touch you, one day this may happen, its okay if that day isnt today"

"You have to know, I want you right, you do know that"

She nodded "I know that, come on now, lets get some sleep"

"But ive upsett you, I need to make that better first"

"Im fine, its just hard sometimes when I feel like you dont want my love"

"I do" he nodded quickly "So badly, its just easier to push you away now then have you walk away yourself"

"But, you dont really want me to go, you want me to stay, so stop, please, for me"

For her, he would do anything, he owed her everything, he could do this, for her

Omkara looked down at his sleeping wife, she gripped tightly onto his t-shirt, her face snuggled into his chest, her left leg led atop his legs, he traced circles across her skin on her waist, she sighed, opening her eyes slightly

"You're tickling me Omkara"

"Sorry, it just calms me down, to be this close to you" he went to pull his hand away when she grabbed it, yanking it back, she placed it on her waist

"It was nice, continue"

Her body was so delicate, so fragile, yet so warm, there was so much to discover about her body, so much to explore

She giggled as he rubbed his stubble against her waist, he looked back up, zoning in on her teeth tugging her bottom lip

The atmosphere in the room now slightly hotter "May I" he gestured to her top, she nodded as he pulled it off of her

She went to cover herself, but he grabbed her arm

"Dont shy away from me Gauri" he kissed her stomach, she shivered, his gaze now full of desperation and longing. His eyes ran over her body "Wow"

"What" she asked shyly

"You're amazing" he pulled off his top, pulling her body against his, his head in her hair "You smell like home" he whispered, kissing her neck

She let out a breathy moan "Omkara, stop, before we get to carried away"

"Not tonight Gauri, tonight I want you and im going to have you"

He climbed above her, brushing his nose against hers "Im going to make love to you now, is that alright"

She laughed "Yeah, yeah I think it is"

Gauri stretched out her legs, the night had been beautiful, they had finally become one, it was hard and it took time, but she felt amazing now

She looked to the desk to see a note, the ring she had bought him placed atop it

The first sentence of the letter read 'By the time you finish this letter, you're going to need the ring more than I do, I hope it gives you strength'
