Complications
Brie's Point of View
I knocked on Roman's door quickly anxious for my daughter back. Tears were flowing down my face, I can't believe Dean would kill my sister and John. Roman opened the door shirtless, I blushed but I was still crying.
"What's wrong baby girl?" Roman asked me.
I just walked into his house, Roman closed the door.
"I need my daughter back," I said.
"First you need to tell me what is wrong," Roman said.
"Why do you care," I yelled.
"Because I like you," Roman said.
"I....
I got cut off by a kiss, I slowly kissed back. He pulled away, and wiped my tears with his thumb.
"Please tell me," Roman said.
I told Roman everything, he held me close as I sobbed in his chest.
I stopped crying and said
"Ashley and I definitely need to leave this city," I said.
"Then let Joelle and I come with you," Roman said.
"I don't know," I mumbled.
"I can protect you from Dean," Roman said.
"I don't want you to get hurt or killed," I said.
"I can protect you from Dean, or I die trying, I just want to be by your side," Roman said.
"Fine, but don't say I didn't warn you," I said.
Roman went upstairs to get his daughter and mine. Ashley came running down the steps and hugged me.
"Why do we have to go?" Ashley asked.
"It's for our safety," I said.
"Daddy can change I know he can," Ashley said.
"It's more complicated than that," I whispered.
Roman and his daughter Joelle came down the stairs with some bags. We walked outside and Ashley, Joelle, Roman and I got in the car and put on our seatbelts. Roman kissed me on the cheek and we started driving out of Phoenix Arizona.
