Sapphire's Pov

After everyone has done their routines it was time for the solo dances. The first person up was Spinel. Everyone was quietly watching from the back of the stage as she was doing her routine. Except me of course, I was on my phone leaning against the exsit door. I was scrolling down my timeline on Facebook and seen a picture of Ruby and her friend Diamond. I looked at the picture in discust. I hit the home button and locked my phone putting it in my pocket. I looked over at Ruby and Diamond and crenged my teeth. I stopped and realized I was getting worked up over nothing. I rolled my eye and walked over toward Lapis and Amethyst. The looked at me as I sat down. I looked up at them and they gave me two warming smiles, I returned the gesture. We watched Spinel finish her dance, we clapped and cheered as so did the crowd. Age took a quick bow and gracefully walked off stage toward us.

"Alright Spinel!" Amethyst cheered pumping her fist into the air once.

"Well done Jack." Lapis said giving her a highfive.

"Thanx guys. I was hoping I did great. But ill catch you guys on the flip side. We gotta prepare for the awards." Spinel smile and walked toward her crew.

I looked over at Diamond and Ruby and seen the have disappeared. I looked at the spot they once were and gave a half confused and half angry look. I guess Amethyst and Lapis notice and decided to ask what was wrong.

"Have you seen where Ruby and Diamond went? They just were sitting here 2 minutes ago."

"They could have went to the bathroom. I'm pretty sure its nothing to worry about kid." Lapis said putting her hand gently on my shoulder.

I looked at her hand then back up at her.

"If you say so."

Just then I see Ruby and Diamond walk in hand and hand laughing and blushing. I ignored the angry thoughts in my head and walked over to them with my arms crossed.

"Where did you two go?"

They looked at me then at each other.

"To the bathroom. Why? Did I miss your performance?!" Ruby said in a painic; releasing Diamonds hand.

Diamond gave a soft grunt and walked away. I smiled to myself.

"No but you could have ....Ruby I don't want you hanging out with her."

"What? Why? She's not bothering anyone." She said with a confused look.

"Yes she is."

"Really? Who? Because it seems to me like everyone else likes her except you. Give her a chance Sapphire. You barely know her and your holding a grudge in her." She said putting her hands on her hips.

"I know but she might-"

"Sapphire listen to me. Shes not going to take me away from you. I love you. Shes just a friend. The only girl i want is you i swear. Just give her a chance Sapphy, for me." She said placing both hands on my shoulders and looking directly into my face where my eye would be.

I hesitated to answer I bit down on my lip and looked at her.

"Mmmm. Fine." I said finally giving in.

"Great. Remember Sapphire, I Love You." She pulled me in close and gave me a kiss. I broke it and smiled.

"I love you too Ruby."

"That's my girl. Now lets go sit down and wait for your turn to dance."

I nodded and she swang her hand over my shoulder and we began walking over toward our little crew.

"Now the next dance is by one if my favorite dancers in this school. Shes been dance since she was 2 years old. Give a warm round of applause for Sapphire" the principle said

To be honest it kinda caught me off gaurd. I looked over at my friends....and Diamond and seen they were clapping. I smiled and got up. I walked on stage and stood in a pose.
