Sapphire's P.o.v

6:00 am

I woke up to the sound of my alarm on my phone and I grunted. I turned my head toward where my phone was vibrating and playing music. I picked it up and hit the dismiss button and sat my phone back down. I sat up and stretched my arms while yawning. I swang my legs over my bed and stood up, I walked over to my closet and opened the doors I picked out black skinnies and a blue Jean jacket. I got my sports bra out and some boy shorts and socks and left out my room. I walked out the hallway to my bathroom and walked in. I sat my under clothes & towel down and walked over to the shower. I turned it on to the temperature of my liking and got undressed and got in the shower.

Once I finished I got my towel and dried off and wrapped it around my body. I put on my underclothes and then my socks and shot the towel into my laundry basket making it. I then turned to the bathroom mirror and opened it. I grabbed my tooth brush and tooth paste and wet the brush then started brushing my teeth. Once I was done I wiped my mouth off and walked out my bathroom. Making sure to turn out the light and closing the door. I walked back down the hall and into my room and lotioned up. I got dressed and put my shoes on. I went back to the bathroom and brushed my hair over my eye and smiled at myself I grabbed my phone out my room.

I went downstairs and grabbed my book bag and car keys and headed out my front door. Locking it behind me. I walked to my car and unlocked the doors and climbed in. I put the key in the ignition and turned. I pulled out my drive way and down the road. I pulled up to Amethyst's house and honked the horn.

"Oh my moon goddess, what is she freaking doing." I said rolling my eyes.

Just then she comes out running and panicing. She opens the car door and slamming it shut.

"Amethyst what-"

I look up to see Sugilite running toward the car. I just stare.

"SAPPHIRE DRIVEEEE!!!"Amethyst yells.

I do what she says with no hesitation and sped off to school. Once we pulled up and I parked we got out.

"Umm...what was that all about?" I asked.

"Oh I drank her juice.....all of her juices....." she said smiling.

"Um Why?"

"Because I was thirsty and I wanted to"

I giggled at her.

We walked in the doors and down the hallway. They were filled with gems, some where new and somewhere old. I was just looking around catching sight out the newbies and the old ones. The seniors trying to get fresh with the freshmen. The freshmen falling for them or watching people getting sucked into the wrong crowd...like with the pearls. Great , Thats more people to pick on me. Whatever tho. I continue to look and walk until I seen this red figure. I looked over at her and seen her talking to Jade. They where flirting by the way I was looking. She was blushing and giggling and by the way the red one was standing and the way she was looking at her. I have to admit though she was pretty and built nice.

Her muscles weren't flexing but you could tell she was built. She had a skin tight workout shirt on and you could see she had a 6 pack. She was alittle shorter then I.

She was down right beautiful. But I cant fall for her I mean....I'm sapphire the nerdy blue gem...nobody likes or talks to me because I'm 'different' and 'weird'. But I don't feel any different from everybody else.....besides my eye that's about it.

I continued staring and I guess she notice .....well she did and she looked up at me and smiled. I blushed and turned my head but as soon as I did I bumped into something really tall and hard. I fell to the ground and looked up. It was jasper..

"WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING YOU FREAK!" She said yelling in my face.

"I'm not even that different from you, you giant cheeto puff" I mumbled gathering my books and stuff from off the floor.

"What was that?"

"Nothing jasper leave me alone"

She pushes me back to the ground. I turned back around to face her. I wiped my lip because I hit my face off the floor. I just sat there as everybody watched me whike I was in embarrassment. My cheeks flushing to a light purple color.

"What nothing to say now?"

I just stare at her and I hear faint giggles. I felt my face getting hot and my eye beginning to water. I stood up and gathered my things and put my bookbag back on. I know people were still staring.

"Exactly what I thought. Your just a weak little gem. Nobody likes you besides that over cooked runt. You have not other friends why even show up to school your a nobody??" She laughed. "Your an embarrassment to yourself"

I started to cry. The bell rang and I ran to my locker. I pulled out my music folder and wiped my face. I took a deep breath and closed my locker. I walked to class.

"Why hello sapphire dear" Ms. Quartz said.

"Hi Ms. Quartz" I said.

"Come see me before you leave this class today, ok?"

"Yes ma'am" I said then I walked to the back of the class room and sat down.

I pulled out my folder and notebook and began the warm up while kids were coming in.

"Goodmorning class" Ms.Quartz said happily.

"Goodmorning Ms. Quartz" Everyone said in fusion.

"Before I start class I wanna introduces you all to the new student today. Her name is Ruby."

Just then the red gem walked infront of the teacher. I blushed and put my head down...I know she seen everything that happened earlier. There is no way she would talk to me now. Come on....shes popular now. Shes just going to make fun of me to.

"Why dont u sit next to Sapphire over there in the back" Ms. Quartz said pointing to me.

Her face changed. She just looked at me and made her way to the seat next to me. Every step she took near toward me made my face get hotter and hotter. I turned away from her to avoid contact with her...she probably wouldn't talk to me anyways.

After awhile we got really into the lesson and gems had to go up and sing A song they wrote from their heart. I really hope she doesn't pick me...how did most if these gems get in here aways ...they cannot sing. When they sing ...no affence but they sound like a dieing bird--

"Sapphire !" Ms.Quartz said.

Aw man! I must have zoned out. I blush and look up at her.

"Y-yes Ms.Quartz" I said.

I heard a few giggles.

"Come up here and sing the song you wrote for the class honey."

I gulped and stood up from my seat and toward Ms. Quartz. I faced the class and seen people snickering and giggling. Most of the giggle was coming from the pearls. I scanned the room to which students where giggling and snickering. My eyes fell right on to the re-- Ruby. She was just looking at me..

"Well, Are you going to sing"

I cleared my thoart.

"Yes ma'am"

I stopped and heard the class clapping and cheering. I looked up at Ms.Quartz and she has stars in her eyes and was smiling really hard and clapping. I looked at ruby who was one of the ones cheering. I blushed and was staring at her blankly....I then took a bow and sat down. A few more kids got called up.

"Wow your voice is beautiful" she said blushing and smiling.

"Thank you...but you really shouldn't be talking to me."

"Why not?"

"Because I'm not a popular gem and nobody likes me. Talking to me would ruin everything that u got going on"

"Oh." She says then the bell rings.

All the kids begin to leave out and I'm the last to leave. I looked up after picking my bookbag up and seen Ms.Quartz talking to Ruby.

I walked up to Ms.Quartz and ruby looked at me and her cheeks got even more red then they already are. I looked back her and just stared at her curiously. She said bye to Ms.Quartz and ran out the class.

"You do remember we have practice today Miss Sapphire?" Ms.Quartz said.

Oh darn it!!!! It completely slipped my mind. I forgot I had dance practice today.

"Aw man sorry Ms.Quartz" I said face palming myself.

"It completely slipped my mind until now. What time do I have to be there" I said.

"Be here at the dance studio at 5:30, no later. I'm giving you all dance partners for the talent show next Friday so be ready to show your stuff."

"Yes ma'am"

*Skips to gym*

I walked into the girls room to only see a few girls in there. So I decided to change into my gym clothes. I put on my sports bra and basketball shorts and some sneakers. I put all but the hair covering my eye into a ponytail and went up stairs to the gym.

I seen some of the new gems talking all together. I walked passed them and went to grab a basketball from out the ben. I then started to play by myself. I pretend that I was crossing other gems and shooting it. I made it a most of the times.

After about 20 mins I took a break I was beginning to sweat and the air in the gym was suffocating. I grabbed a water and stood next to the door letting the cool breeze blow on me while drinking the water. 5 mins later I decided to chill for alittle while longer. I looked out to see Ruby playing basketball...she was crossing this Blue gem and running threw them and shooting it.

She had called a time out and went over to the bleachers and took off her t-shirt. When she did that her muscles flexed. She had a sports bra and basketball shorts on. She was sweaty, she started playing again .

She got the ball again and passed it to her team mate and the team mate made it. She bent over putting her hands on her knees she watched her team shoot the ball again and she licked her lips....my cheeks flushed purple. I couldn't take my eyes off her. Shes just....ugh....

"SAPPHIRE! " I heard a familiar voice shout at me.

I turned about with my face still blusing but scared until I realized who it was.

"Yes, Amethyst?" I said cracking a smile still blushing.

Laughs. "Who were you staring at like that?"

Umm Ruby. " I was just watchin them play basketball. I was interested by their techniques."

"Right...ooo look at the new gem. Look at that body. Oh my moon goddess I see why the other girls where talking about her."

I cringed my teeth together was about to slap her but I just crossed my arms and sat back.

"Amethyst" I said gently.

"Hm" she said while still staring at Ruby.

I rolled my eye.

"What was it that u had to tell me so badly."

"OH! Look girl this is this party next Friday after the talent show I think you should come with me to" she said completely taking her attention off ruby.

"No ...No way am I going to go"

"Why not" she said poking her lip at me

"You know exactly the reason"

"I promise nothing will happen to you Sapphy please its not a party until my bestfriend comes "

"No Amethyst" I said sternly.

"Fine" she said rolling her eyes and pouting.

"Ill go you big baby"

"Yay! Good. its from 8 till whenever. But see u at lunch"

"Bye"

I got up and looked around Ruby was gone. I went downstairs and got ready for the shower i was about to take. When I got down there I heard a shower running. I peeked in and seen Ruby showering. My face got really hot. I backed out and sat back on the steps. 5 minutes later she walked out with her sports bra and a towel around her waist. I watched the water trace her abs and trickle down to her V line.... SAPPHIRE WHAT ARE YOU DOING! ! I snapping myself out of it I started gathering my things and got in the shower. I swear i felt eyes on me but I continued to wash up. I got out dried off and got dressed. Ruby was still getting dressed. She shoulda been outta here by now. I brushed her off and got dressed.
