Ruby's Pov

6:00am

I got up out my bed and I walked to my bathroom. I looked into the mirror and seen I had slobber running up my face and my hair was poofier then it already was. I turned on the shower and got undressed. I got in and washed my body. I grabbed my towel and wrapped it around my body. I got out and dried off. I put on my boxers a black sports bra and black socks. I opened my cabinet and grabbed my tooth brush and tooth paste and brushed my teeth. After I was done with that I went to my closet and pulled out shorts and t-shirt. I lotioned up and got dressed and put on my ankel high boots.

I went back in my bathroom and grabbed my head band. I tied it around my head and went downstairs. I grabbed my keys, phone and bookbag. I walked out the house and locked the door. I walked to my car and unlocked the doors and got in. I started the ignition and pulled out my drive way. I soon made it to school and parked my car. I walked in the doors and eyes where already on me.

"Um..."I said and kept walking.

I reatched my locker and put my bookbag inside. I closed my locker door and leaned against it. A few girls walked passed me and said hey. I said wassup and they giggled. I chuckled to myself and they walked down the hallway. Just then I got attacked from the side.

"Ahh!" I looked down to see a short girl hugging me tightly.

"Ruby!! Baby I missed you" she said pecking my cheek.

Oh. Its jade.

"Oh, hey jade."

She coulda called me if she missed me.

She grabbed my hand and we walked to the cafeiteria. We sat down with the Three pearls, Emerald, Diamond, Marcarsite, and Larimar.

"Wassup Ruby." They said.

"Wassup guys" I said sitting down.

"How does it feel having to dance with a lame?" Larimar said.

I crenged my teeth and looked back at the table were sapphire sat. She wasn't there. My face changed to a concerned look.

"Hello Homeworld to Ruby" Marcarsite said snapping in my face.

"Oh. Its not anything going on. I mean I don't like it shes just a lame. I just care about winning the talent show."

"Yea. Us too" Emerald said.

"I kinda figured" I said.

Just as I looked around. I seen Sapphire walking with two other girls. A tall one well she wasn't that much taller then Sapphire, and a short one. The tall one was blue, she had on a dress that was tied in the back. It was that lapis girl that walked over to us yesterday at practice. Speaking of practice...Why was Sapphire acting like that yestarday. I know I might have been mean but she made me mad.

"Ruby!"

I looked at Jade and she looked upset.

"What's wrong?"

"You were ignoring me."she said crossing her arms.

"I'm sorry, I just got lost in thought."

"Oh, what were you thinking about?"

I let out out a sigh. "Nothing important." I said looking at Sapphire.

I looked back at Jade and smiled at her. She did the same and kissed my cheek.

Sapphire's Pov

I walked in the school with Lapis and Amethyst we walked to our lockers. We would regroup at my lunch table. I put my stuff away and walked to the cafiteria. I seen Lapis and Amethyst standing by the cage door. I walked up to them and we walked inside the cafe. I was looking around at the people in the cafe. I seen the same people as always. I normally don't even come in here unless it lunch time but Lapis insisted I sit with her and a few other of her friends. We walked to my table and seen 3 girls sitting there.

"Hey girls" lapis said.

"hey laps" the tiger stripped girl said.

"Sup" the red one said.

"Hey" they green dorito headed one said.

"These are my friends Amethyst and Sapphire. I knew them since we were tiny little gems and Guys this is Tiger Eye, BloodStone and Peridot."

"Hey" we said.

We sat and talked for a while and I looked over to Ruby's table and seen Jade giving her a kiss. I turned my head away and looked down at the table. I didn't speak for the rest of breakfast.
