Sapphire's Pov

I woke up and seen Ruby laying next to me. I moved out her grip and got up. I stretched and stood up. I walked over to my closet and opened it. I got out a towel and rag and went to my bathroom. I got undress and got in. After I was done I got out and grabbed the towel and wrapped it around me and stepped out the shower. I looked up and seen Ruby brushing her teeth. I walked out the bathroom and went back to my room. I dried off and lotioned up and got dressed. I wore (A/N with the flower bands) Ruby came in and looked at me. I stared at her body my mouth cracked open alittle.

"Like what you see?"she said with a smirk.

"I..uhh..I.I.I...umm .."

"Heh why u studdering?"

"I...umm..I"

She starts laughing at me. Soon we both were dressed and ready to head out. I walked out my house making sure I grab my keys and phone.

"C'mon Ruby! What's Taking so long"

"Here I come darn it!" She said running down the steps.

"Are you taking your car or getting in mine?"

"You can ride with my Sapphy" she said walking to her car.

"uhh ...yea sure"

I followed and soon we were pulling out the drive way. Ruby parked the car and we got out. There were already stares and whispers. I looked at Ruby and she looked at me. She didn't seem to care at all, she smiled at me. I blushed and smiled back. We walked in the school and Ruby put her arm around my shoulder. Everywhere you looked there were stared. Constant staring, it was making me nervous. I wanted to scream. I looked back at Ruby who was smiling and happy. Maybe I should be happy to...I thought. It was just to hard to smile right now. I don't like how everybody is staring at me. I looked over and seen lapis and Amethyst waiting for me by my locker. I kissed Ruby on the cheek and told her I'd meet her in class and she said ok.

I walked over to Amethyst and Lapis. I smiled at them. Then I realized they were smiling. I looked at them both confused.

"Um...WhY are you staring like that?"

"You go with Ruby...don't you?" Lapis said with her fist balled up near her face shaking back and forth in excitement.

"Omg she does" amethyst said screaming.

"Keep your voices down, its not that serious."

"Yes it is!!" they both said.

"Who would have guess you'd be with the schools hottest gem." Lapis said with a cocky smile putting her arm around my shoulder.

"I know right Laps!! I knew she could do it. I taught her so well."

Me at lapis busted out laughing.

"You didn't teach me anything except how to gossip and eat." I said giggling.

"Oh whatever girl."

Bell rings.

"We'll catch you later Sapphire."

"Bye guys!" I said waving at them.

I started my journey to class. As I was walking down the halls people were whispering. I looked around concerned and scared. I decided to take the long way to class because nobody's there. I walked that way then next thing I know I'm getting stuffed into the girls bathroom. It was dark all you could see were the lights that highlighted in the crack of the door. I looked back up into the darkness. I could feel two gems pinning me against the wall.

"Who are you and why did you trap me in this bathroom pinned against this wall"

"You took something from me and I want it back."

I stopped struggling to get free and replayed the voice I'm my head.

"Jade?!"

"Yes you cow! Now give me my Ruby back or suffer the consequences."

"What do you mean give her back? Your not getting her, what part of she doesn't like you don't you understand? Its not my fault that she doesn't want you. Its just the way she felt toward me. I feel the same about her. Your not getting my Ruby!" I said spitting at her.

"Oh its that right." She said turning on the lights and walking toward me.

She punched me in my face repeatedly until my lips was bleeding, I cried out in pain. I looked up at her and tried to get free again but failed.

"I will take any risk of getting Ruby anything and anyone that gets in my way will be punished and that starts with you Sapphire." She said cracking her knuckles.

I looked up and her and then put my head back to the side cowering. She punched me her hardest in my stomach and made me cough and gasp for breath. I took a few breathers and finally and looked up at her. My hair was all over the place. All you could see is my one eye. I looked up at her again and turned my lip at her.

"Oh so you still haven't had enough?!" She said reaching in her back pocket.

I stared at what she was pulling out. It was an army knife. She walked closer to me and put it on my arm, pressing down on it. Blood started to drip drown. I bit my lip and tried to hold in the tears. She soon she stopped and looked me dead in my face. She smiled and quickly made cuts on my lower arm, upper arm, shoulders, and one long one on my chest. I look terrible my clothes are ripped up my hair is a mess.

She stopped cutting me and told the people that were on me to drop me. I fell to the floor holding my stomach. I felt like I was about to spit up my bones and lungs. She out her hands against the wall and began kicking me harder and harder, I soon started coughing up blood. She picked me up by my shirt and pinned me against the wall. I was so weak my body went limb on me.

"I give you by tomorrow morning to break up with her and tell her to be with me. If you don't ill hunt you and Ruby down and kill you both. I hope you got that."

And with that she punched me and everything went black.

Ruby's Pov

Went we walked in the school everybody was staring and whispering. I didn't pay it no mind though. Nobody knows me, I dare somebody to try and say something about me being with Sapphire. They will get pound to a pulp. Sapphire seen her friends kissed my cheek and told me she'd see me in class. I nodded and let her go on about her day. I was really happy today and didn't want anything to ruin my day.

I walked in the lunch room and sat at my usual table. Good thing Jades not here. I'm guessing The people who started the fight got suspended. Went I sat down The pearls were looking at me funny. I looked at them and rolled my eyes.

"What are you looking at?"

It was quiet for a few seconds.

"You go with Sapphire...Don't you?" pink pearl said.

"Yea so, what's it to yah? You got a problem?" I said getting up.

"uhh...yea Shes a la--"

I slapped her.

"SAY ANOTHER MOTHER FLIPPIN WORD and I will crush your life!" I said with a angry face.

She got quiet and everybody in the cafe went back to doing their thing. I sighed.

Soon the bell rang and it was time for first period. I stood next to the door waiting for Sapphire to show up...but she didn't. I began to grow curious. Them Ms.Quartz told be to come in and sit down. I did as told and for the whole period I was glancing at Sapphire's seat. I put my head down in frustration and watched all this stupid gems take about their friends and all this other stuff.

The period ended and soon it was 4th period, gym period. I walked in and didn't see sapphire... ok this is getting rediculous. I haven't seen Sapphire all day for real. In the middle of gym I asked to use the bathroom. I went to find amethyst and lapis. I only found Lapis. She was on her way to the office but I stopped her.

"Where's Sapphire?!"

"Um..isn't she in gym class?"

"NO! I haven't seen her all day and I'm starting to worry!"

"Be cool shes probably helping Ms.Quartz or something. Go ask her."

I paused for a second.

"Ok. Your coming with me"

"Wh-"

I pulled her arm and we ran to Ms.Quartz room where she was grading papers with a student.

I gasped. I realized who it was. "Oh its just you"
Jade turned around and winked at me. I turned my head I'm discusted.

"Is there something I can help you with Ruby?" Ms.Quartz said.

"Oh..YES! Have you seen Sapphire?"

"No I haven't. I needed her today so she can help me grade these papers but she didn't come."

"Its ok" I said turning around.

I just happen to look back and seen Jade blow me a kissy face. I brushed her and it off. I grabbed lapis and we continued looking for her.

We didn't attend any classes for the rest of the day. We sat down om the floor next to the janitors closet.

"Where could she be?" I said putting my face in my lap.

"haven't you ever thought she went home early?"lapis said.

"If she did and or was going to f*vcking go home she would have told me! I spent the night with her!" I said getting angrier.

"Watch your mouth! haven't you thought of her getting a stomacher act or headache from eatting breakfast or something?"

"LAPIS YOU KNOW DAMN WELL SHE DOESNT GO IN THE CAFETERIA! UNLESS ITS LUNCH AND SHE WASNT THERE EITHER SO SHUT UP AND JUST HELP INSTEAD OF BEING AN IN CONSIDERATE ASSHOLE!" I said turning away from her.

She looked at me and tears started to build up in her eyes. I looked at her with a concerned look. She started crying.

"Lapis..." I said giving her a hug.

"Lapis, I'm sorry. Please stop crying." I said holding her head up and wiping her tears.

She wiped the rest away. The janitor open the closet and we hear a thud. Lapis gasped and so did the janitor. I turned around and I couldn't believe my eyes.

"Sapphire." I mummbled. I ran over to her to check for a pulse and good thing I did too. Shes still alive.

I picked her up bridle style and me ans lapis walked to my car completely ignoring everybody asking questions. I laid sapphire down on Lapis's lap in the back seat and got in the front. I backed out the parking lot and sped off down the road to the hospital. I was on the verge of tears. I let one tear stream down my face. I looked in the mirrior and seen lapis hugging sapphire.

Soon we reached the hospital and checked her in. They rushed her into a room.

Hours later.

I was pacting back and forth with my fist balked up. Lapis had her head in her hands. I looked up and seen a nurse.

"Shes ok. She just needs to stay in the hospital tonight. She will be checked out later tomorrow. She has cuts and bruises all over her body. Right now she sleep. You can see her if you want" the nurse said.

I looked at lapis and nodded. She lead us to the room she was in. The nurse opened the curtain and my heart instantly broke into 1 million tiny pieces. I walked over to sapphire and sat down. I took her hand in mine. I rubbed my thumb across her knuckles gently. I put my head down to the side and silently started to cry. Lapis patted my back wiping her tears.

"R.r.ub-b-by L-l-lapis?" She fluttered her eyes opened.

I looked up and lapis looked at her.

"Thank you for saving me"she said barley getting her words out.

"Who did this to you?!"

"Kiss me"

I looked at her and she looked at me a tear forming in her eye then slowly doing down her face. I kissed her passionately.

Soon it was night time and I had to leave the hospital. I dropped lapis off and drove home. I pulled up into my parking lot and got out my car. I walked to my house and unlocked the door and went inside. I closed and locked the door behind me and kicked off my shoes. Ms.Quartz is going to kill me tomorrow.I walked up stairs and jumped right on my bed pulled in my phone and went back to be face down in my bed. Sound asleep.
