001 — pilot

JOHN B AND POPE rush into the hurricane's full blown rainfall-after Tatum told them she wasn't going to join them this time due to some personal problems happening.

She'll join them next time though, both boys ran in the directions of the waves, "It's a double overhead out there, bro" John B says carrying his surfboard.

"Double overhead?" Pope asks slightly confused, as they step on top of one of the closest sand dunes to look at the dangerous waves ahead of them.

"Those aren't surfable waves, bro" Pope says concerned, John B just laughs, "Says who?" he says smacking Pope's chest and rushing off into the ocean.

Cheers of exiting and whooping can be heard from the curly headed brunette running into the water.

John B begins to pant due to the amount of strength he is using fighting against the currents and powerful waves.

John B manages to stand on the board of his for almost a second before falling into the salt water, "Oh shit" he yells out—as he retries and fails again for a few more times.

He begins paddling into the sand to head home to where he's sure JJ will be due to his home life, even possibly Tatum as well, as she likes being around the blue eyed boy when there's storms.

John B notices a boat floating on the surface of the rough waves, "What the hell?" he wonders out in confusion on why a boat would be out in the middle of an oncoming hurricane.

But then again his currently surfing the beast, he soon returns back to chateau to realise he was correct about both JJ and Tatum being at the chateau, both cuddled up against the pull out.

He chuckles to himself before he walks into his room to get some sleep before the hurricane gets too loud outside.

THE NEXT MORNING John B lays in his bed only for water droplets to begin dripping on the side of his face.

The teenager wakes up from the annoying patter of the water against his face and sighs.

Before wiping the water off his face and grunts annoyed because he was disturbed from his slumber.

The boy sits up groaning due to the relaxed muscles of his previous sleep.

He picks up his phone noticing the lack of notifications and sighs before locking the phone once more, "No service?" He questions to nobody annoyed.

Before getting up from the bed to check the power switches, "No power, great" he mumbles before going into the family room to the chateau to annoy his two best friends on the pull out.

He smacks JJ on the middle of his back before tapping Tatum's forehead, "Yo JJ, you been outside?" John B asks loudly hearing the disapproval groan from beside JJ.

"I have polio bro, I can't walk" JJ sleepily says into his pillow-as John B exits the chateau leaving the two best friends disturbed of their sleep inside.

Tatum opens her eyes and hisses at the brightness of the sun shining it through the window, "Ew daylight" the girl mumbles.

Earning a sigh from the boy behind her, who rolls over fitting perfectly behind the girl.

"Thought you couldn't move?" Tatum asks in a teasing tone, "I can only move for you and the fact your tits are in my face" JJ smirks earning a shove from the girl.

She gasps fixing the bikini she fell asleep in, "Look away, you pervert!" Tatum sarcastically says.

JJ smirks, "You love me" JJ says sitting up to drag the girl back down to cuddle into her chest.

Tatum looks around the room for her singlet before sighing and giving up on finding the material.

She moves resulting in JJ grunting beside her, she looks at the boy confused before feeling something poke her backside.

"Jay, you better not have morning wood!" Tatum voices, JJ just groans as she pushes her arse up against him purposely.

"Come on princess, you lay beside me of course I do" JJ says.

Tatum tries to get up to help John B outside but ends up on top of JJ in this process.

"Hello to you too" JJ says eyeing the girl up and down.

"JJ, keep your hands to yourself" the girl states pushing herself into the teenage boy who's sexually frustrated as he groans into the pillow.

Tatum shoves him and gets up to go to the bathroom to do her morning business and allow JJ to fix his problem, although he just follows behind her like a lost puppy.

"You gonna sort that problem out down there?" Tatum asks pointing towards his crotch area, "You wanna help me out?" JJ smirks.

Tatum just rolls her eyes and walks out of the bathroom to the spare bedroom both JJ and herself have called dips on when they stay at the chateau.

JJ smirks before turning to the shower leaving the bathroom door open—not really caring if the girl sees him naked, "JJ!" Tatum shrieks covering her eyes after walking out from the bedroom.

"What? I have nothing to hide" JJ shrugs, the girl walks into the kitchen to pour a class of water so she doesn't die of thirst as she hears a grunt from the bathroom.

"You okay in there?" Tatum calls out, "Mhm-hmm" JJ replies but she can mainly hear the small grunt he lets out afterwards meaning his sorting out his morning issue.

Tatum waits in the kitchen for the teenage boy to be finished before he walks out in a towel wrapped around his lower half, "You done?" Tatum playfully asks smirking.

JJ turns towards her, "Wouldn't you like to know?" JJ smugly replies.

"Considering I heard the grunts and moans, I think that answers my question" Tatum shrugs biting into her apple she bought here last night.

JJ walks towards her staring deep and lustfully into her eyes, biting into her apple, "You got a little drool" JJ says smiling before leaving the girl alone to get dressed to help John B outside.

Just as the boy walks out of the bedroom with fresh shorts on, without his t-shirt.

John B calls out, "Yo Tate, JJ, come outside and help me" the boy says earning eye rolls from both Tatum and JJ.

Both JJ and Tatum walk outside immediately taking note to the damage the hurricane did, "Shit" the brunette mumbles looking around the yard.

"Agatha did some work, huh?" JJ calls out from beside Tatum, "Yeah she did" John B answers.

Tatum notices JJ drinking a beer beside her-who gulps down the liquid before burping, "Pig" the girl says looking at the boy beside her.

"You're mean" JJ sarcastically says pouting, "Come on Jay" Tatum says motioning her head towards John B and the boat, "What you thinkin?" JJ asks once both Tatum and him get closer to John B.

"I'm thinkin' that storm surge pushed all the crabs out on the marsh maze, all those drum are gonna chase the crab" John B says throwing one of the sticks out of the boat before helping the ombré brunette get on the boat.

She starts helping her other best friend unload the branches, "What about the DCS? Wasn't that today?" JJ asks.

"Nah, they're not gettin' on a ferry, come on, think about it, it's god tellin' us to fish" John B says holding up one of the branches and throwing it outside of the boat, "Let's do this" Tatum says.

JJ nods before helping John B put the HMS into the water so they can go fish-as they start cruising into the docks where people are cleaning up their boats.

Both JJ and John B are talking about boats as Tatum sits on her phone listening to music.

They drive the boat past Miss Amy cleaning up the docks, both John B and Tatum say their hello's to the woman.

JJ mumbles, "She totally looked at me" hearing Tatum scoff under her breath.

"What's there to look at?" She smirks, JJ sticks his middle finger up at her as the girl goes to bite his finger-he instantly pulls the finger back.

"You nearly bit me" JJ exclaims, "Don't put your finger up at me if you don't want it bitten off just sayin" Tatum shrugs as John B mumbles, "That's a fair point".

The girl goes back to listening to her music she's downloaded, "Dude, look at this place" John B starts.

JJ whistles as Tatum looks up from her phone to see the damage, looking around with wide eyes, "Agatha, what did you do?" JJ asks.

"She is a crazy lady" John B states, Tatum nods standing beside the steering wheel alongside John B.

The three best friends start discussing things getting closer towards Pope's dock.

Tatum looks around noticing Pope cleaning off the dock with a sign that says 'bring it on aggie, you bitch'.

"Well, look who we have here" John B says in a funny tone of voice, JJ just whoops noticing Pope.

"We have a safety meeting, attendance mandatory" John B says into his hand mimicking a walk-talkie.

"I can't, my pop's got me on lockdown" Pope says sadly.

JJ stands on the front of the boat, "Come on man" JJ says before he mimics a walkie-talkie like John B was doing.

"Your dad's a pussy over" JJ says and uses a static like sound to finish the walkie-talkie mimic.

"Oh, I heard that, you little bastard" Heyward says coming from the side of Pope hearing Tatum laugh.

"You tell him, Pops" Tatum says, "We need your son" John B yells out.

"Yeah, and island rules, day after a hurricane's a free day" JJ says opening his arms, "Who made that up?" Heyward asks.

"Uh, Pentagon, I think, we have security clearance, I have a card" JJ says going into the pockets to get the so called card he's talking about.

"Think I'm stupid?" Heyward asks annoyed at the blonde boys antics, "I'll do it tomorrow, I promise, tomorrow" Pope starts only for his father to cut him off.

"You think, no, no, hell no, you're doin' it right now" Heyward states, Pope looks at his friends, "Get in the boat" John B whispers.

"Make a run for it bro, make a run for it" JJ says as Pope drops the hose and jumps into the boat.

"How does that feel?" JJ asks now standing beside Tatum, as he grabs onto the nearby rope and starts whipping it in the sky.

Tatum hears the hissing sounds, "I swear to god JJ, if that hits me I will kick you off this boat" Tatum states as JJ looks at the girl beside him.

"I'd like to see you try" JJ says earning a raise of the eyebrows off the girl, the two don't hear the conversation going on between Pope and Heyward behind them only the last few snippets of it.

"You'll clean your dirty-ass room and I don't like your friends" Heyward yells out before finishing.

"Actually I like Tate!" Heyward fixes himself up earning a smile from the girl.

"Thanks Pops!" Tatum yells out as the boys roll their eyes at the girl.

They continue talking to each other before pulling up to Kiara's house-noticing her on the dock ready and packed, "Oh, top o' the mornin' to ya" John B says.

"Morning, boys and girl" Kiara says, "Morning" JJ says, "Whatcha got? You got some juice boxes?" John B asks.

"You know, just some yogurts and carrot sticks" Kiara answers before smiling at both Tatum and JJ as they help her onto the boat, "How about my kind of juice box?" JJ asks.

"Yeah, and Tate's kind too" Kiara answers as Tatum's eyes light up, "Oh my god, you did not" Tatum gasps, "Of course I did, for you my love" Kiara says.

"Brace for impact" John B says in a robot kind of voice as they take off on the boat ride, pulling out alcohol to drink.

Tatum starts drinking hers, Kiara happily bought her.

"Salaud" Kiara says as both her and Tatum cheers their drinks together.

"Skoul" JJ says drinking his beer, the teens begin their journey into the marsh to fish and swim.

JJ exclaims with happiness as does Kiara and Tatum alongside Pope-who isn't drinking.

"Bet you can't do this, tell the world, a party trick" JJ says moving towards the front of the boat to do his so called party trick.

"Terrifying" Kiara says playfully, Tatum laughs beside her, "Hey, Pope, can you go a little faster?" JJ asks.

"Here we go, I'm movin', doesn't work" John B says moving behind Pope.

"We've tried this like 6,000 times" John B says sitting down facing JJ at the front to watch.

"I got this, it's gonna work" JJ states as Pope speeds up the boat and JJ's drink goes everyone spilling onto both Tatum and Kiara who are sitting behind him.

"You're getting beer in our hair" Kiara states, "Oh my god, all right, all right" Pope says as the beer starts splashing him as well, "All right, you're done" John B says.

"All right, stop!" Pope says, as the boat hits something and the teens are sent flying, John B lands beside Kiara.

Pope catches himself on the boat, JJ flips overboard, "Jesus, Pope!" Kiara snarls, "You okay, JJ?" Pope asks groaning.

"I think my heels touched the back of my head" JJ groans as he floats on the top of the water.

"Kie, you okay?" John B asks groaning from hitting the boat quite hard, "I'm all right" Kiara moans out in pain.

"Princess?" JJ asks from the water.

The others look around as well waiting for the girl to answer, "Tate!" Kiara yells out worried for her best friend.

John B and Pope notice the lack of their close female friend as well while JJ searches the water.

Tatum eventually breaks out of the water gasping due to her panicked state, "Oh my god, baby!" JJ yells out from his worried mind.

"I'm okay, just lost consciousness for a minute under water" Tatum spatters from the water she swallowed.

JJ swims over towards her now helping her stay afloat before looking at her making sure she's okay.

"I'm okay Jay" Tatum nods, "You had worried me sick, princess" JJ states, as all teens are counted for.

"Pope, what did you do?" JJ asks, "Sandbar, channels changed" Pope states, "No shit" JJ says helping Tatum swim closer to the boat.

"Ugh, this is probably gonna mess this whole place up" John B grumbles out.

Pope walks to the end of the boat to look into the water.

"Hey, I saved the beer though, and the girl" JJ says looking at Tatum at the end of his sentence.

Tatum nods thanking him silently with her eyes, "Congrats JJ" John B says.

Pope listens to his friends but looking into the water as well he notices something that isn't suppose to be there.

"Guys, I think there's a boat down there" Pope states, "Shut up, what?" John B says.

"No way" Kiara says, "No, no, guys, I'm serious, there's a boat down there, for real" Pope says confidence in his tone.

JJ looks at the tired girl he's currently holding up again, as she looks around the water seeing if she can see from this angle, "Guys, is this—" John B goes to say thinking it's a prank.

But steps on the front of the boat beside Pope, "It's a boat!" Pope says pointing at the boat.

"Holy shit, he's right, let's go" Kiara says undressing herself into her bikini.

Tatum has overcome her fear and can swim on her own she also undoes her wet shorts and singlet and throws them on the edge of the boat-ready to dive underneath the water.

"You sure you're okay to do this Tate?" JJ asks, "I'm all good now-thanks Jay" Tatum says kissing his cheek.

"You think there's a dead body down there? Guys, wait up!" Pope says, "Whoo!" Kiara yells as she jumps into the water.

"Get your ass in here Pope" JJ yells out, "Come on" John B says as they dive into the water to take a glance at the sunken boat.

They reach the bottom and take a look they all kick off the roof and gasps as they reach the surface, "You guys saw that right?" JJ asks shaking his hair.

"Yeah" Pope says out of breath, "Yeah I did" Kiara says smiling, "Yeah" John B also answers and Tatum nods not feeling the need to answer.

"What the" as the boys laugh, "That's a Grady-White, a new one of those is like 500 Gs, easy" JJ states as he looks at a concerned Tatum beside him.

She can't help but wonder if this boat belongs to her rich and snotty grandfather.

As the teens swim back to the HMS and get on, JJ helps Tatum onto the boat.

"No thank you, princess?" JJ asks smirking as he gets on the boat beside her.

"JJ, you just wanted to touch my butt, but thank you" Tatum smiles.

"Okay! That's a primo rig" JJ states, "Yeah, that's the boat I saw when I surfed the surge, maybe it hit the jetty or something" John B says.

"You surfed the surge?" Kiara asks shocked, "Yeah" John B chuckled as Tatum rolls her eyes.

"That's my boy! Pogue style" JJ says shaking John B's hand in amazement and joy.

"What the heck?" Kie asks sitting beside Tatum, "He asked me and I just said girl problems" Tatum shrugs getting Kie to smile.

Knowing that Tatum gets quite scared during storms but JJ and her are the only people who really understand why.

Kiara then gets up to look at what the boys are currently doing and Tatum goes to sit where JJ currently is looking overboard at the sudden boat underneath them.

"Wait, wait, do we know whose boat that is?" Pope asks, John B continues getting out the anchor from inside the boats little storage compartment.

"No, but we're about to find out" John B says, "Dude it's too deep" JJ states.

John B gets the anchor out completely and putting it the side of him and shutting the storage compartment.

"Oh, for the weak and feeble, JJ" John B says, "Well, I'm not resuscitating you, I'm just making that clear up front" JJ states.

"That's fine" John B shrugs as JJ looks at Tatum beside him smirking, "You on the other hand" JJ smirks.

Tatum raises her brows at the boy and why his been so flirty today, "John B" Kiara says softly, "What?" John B chuckles.

Not knowing that both girls on the boat are extremely worried for his safety and don't want him to drown.

"Diver down, fool" Pope salutes the teenage boy.

John B sighs, "Diver down" John B salutes back, "Yeah he is" JJ says pushing the boy off the boat into the water, "Oh my god" Tatum says.

John B continues under the water for some time worrying his friend above him in the boat, "Should we go get him?" Pope asks.

John B resurfaces coughing and spluttering due to holding his breath for so long.

"Oh, my god, that took forever!" Kiara says, "Ah, jeez, any dead bodies?" Pope asks.

"Looting potential?" JJ asks pulling up the anchor that John B used to get down to the boat.

"No—no, I found this motel key" John B says holding the key up and out of the water towards the teens.

"A key" Pope says, "Yes a key, Pope" John B states, "Great! We salvaged a motel key" JJ says as they begin driving back towards the docks.

"Guys, we should report the wreck to the coast guard, maybe we'll get a finder's fee" Kiara says.

"Thanks, Agatha, ya batch" JJ says as Tatum sits beside him as he holds onto the bar on the boat and she holds onto the side of the boat making sure not fall overboard again
