you thought trans Jirou was good?? (i mean it is really great but) well guess WHAT

TRANS KAMINARI

Kaminari is also trans!! A slightly insecure, slightly internally homophobic trans boy! Ah but instead of paragraphs explaining the story like with Jirou, we have....... bullet points!! ok let's go!!

- His transition actually happened when he was rather young!! When he was nine...
- Denki would heavily decline any activity/clothing/etc. that seemed even remotely feminine, get increasingly anxious in situations where femininity was key (his parents would put him in tons of beauty pageants and dress him up in lots of frilly dresses for fun, which they deeply and sincerely apologize for even long after his transition), etc.....

- He preferred more masculine sounding nicknames and even thought up what became his post-transition name, Denki!!

- His pre-transition name was Kaho

- His parents were worried, and when they were told he may have some repressed dysphoria, they immediately took action and helped him all they could

- "Why didn't you tell us sooner!" "We're so sorry, we shouldn't have done those things!"
- "What can we do to make it better??"
- "Have you chosen a name yet, sweetie??" "gu y s i've been asking everyone to call me "denki" for years man"

- Denki was delighted to finally have this burden off his conscience!!

- He very openly expressed his want to be male to make it known to everyone!!

- At the time he couldn't get the very much wanted top surgery just yet

- He wore more boy-ish clothing, tried his hardest to deepen his voice, told all of his friends and teachers that he desperately preferred male pronouns, and felt happy about himself for a while!
- He tried very hard to be seen as cool and masculine!! (it was bit sloppy at first, but he got the hang of it and became super good at it!!)

- Middle school was really rough on him. He was bullied, not only for his apparently "mediocre" attempt at being a boy, but also because of his quirk (how he short circuits, yknow)

- He felt. really really bad. he almost didn't want to try anymore. but he persevered because he knew he wanted a successful transition more than anything in the world!!

- and!! lo and behold!! UA came around and changed everything for him!!

- within the first week everybody (except Jirou, the best trans girl), could tell. and they were fucking stoked for how/when he would tell them.

- he has a habit of calling any minor inconvenience "transphobic"

- which means
- once he couldn't pick up/remember a few words in English and he chucked his pencil at Present Mic's desk and said, "this is transphobic."

- everybody kind of just. froze.

- he was like "oh shi t"

- "FUCK"

- he was so scared, he thought now that everybody knew he would get bullied again, especially with angry and cold guys like Bakugou and Shouto in the class

- everyone was like "yeah we all know you're trans!! don't worry we're here for you!!" (Bakugou yelled about his raging love for the trans community for a good minute. Bakugou loves all trans people pass it on)

- of course JIROU didn't know so she was like "im sorry WHAT??!???!!!??!!??"

- lets just pretend mineta doesn't exist fuck him

- god. Denki felt SO loved. he's never felt so good about himself.

- he embraced it!! he loved himself again!!

- he was being appreciated and accepted and he loved it

- the class did all they could to help him out!! (Jirou helped on the downlow. she wasn't out at the time.)

- he had top surgery by the time the sports festival rolled around btw!!

- ah but...... the internalized homophobia!!

- his middle school years really took a toll on him to the point where he thought it was wrong to be """different"""

- even after everybody said "we're here for you!!" and "we're proud of you!!" he still felt,, off about his sexuality

- he thought it would a completely different deal if he ever told anybody he was bi

- sure he leans more towards girls, but that doesn't erase his bisexuality

- so he just,, still hated himself just that little bit.

- you all noticed how he really emphasized that he loves girls in the first two seasons, right?

- but he observed his class..... which is full of hopeless gays

- Momo and Jirou? super cool lesbians!! Shouto and Izuku? cute and badass couple!! Tsu and Ochako?? power couple!!

- and he looked up to Kirishima the most, and it only one push for him to finally accept himself completely: Bakugou and Kirishima getting together after the kamino incident

- "whoa.......... if two cool guys like bakugou and kirishima can be dating and STILL be super cool and powerful and respected, then maybe i really can just be myself..." was essentially his mindset

- and he finally came out!! completely!!

- "HOLY SHIT you're trans and bi?? absolute fucking power move!!"
- "kirishima sto p"

- and guess who he confessed his feelings to? y'all should know this by now, you know me.

- him and Ojiro started dating.... and he thought he was happy before??

- THIS was when he was truly happier than he's ever been. this was when he finally felt as happy as he could about himself.

- guys!! he fucking loves himself COMPLETELY!! he's happy!! he's in a relationship!! he's made a very successful transition!!

- and holy SHIT when Jirou finally came out??

- they are the BEST of friends, Denki calls them "trans buddies" (Aoyama is somewhat of an honorary member, being a fabulous demiboy~)

- Jirou really looks up to Denki because he made it through all the hardships during his transition that she never had to face during hers

- Jirou thinks Denki is really cool and brave!! and anyone who disagrees will get an earphone jack jabbed in their eye

- for real. everyone is super proud of Denki (and Jirou) for making it through and reaching ultimate success!! they're all so wholesome and sweet

- except mineta, again let's just pretend he's fucking dead, Denki doesn't need that negativity in his life

in conclusion....... Denki Kaminari, Mr. Denki McSparky himself, is a beautiful healthy trans boy who takes shit from nobody.

and...... here's a sad Kaho. because she was very sad.
