Ethan Nestor loves poetry. He wanted to write poetry all the time and publish his works of art. He had worked himself into a writers block and was having trouble getting out. He wasn't satisfied with any of his recent work and he felt like giving up on his dream.

His girlfriend, Y/N wanted to help him rediscover his passion. She made him get his notebook and a pencil and they set out on an adventure.

First they went to the lake. Y/N picked up a rock and skipped it across the lake with ease. Ethan smiled and enjoyed watching her freely float around looking for the perfect rocks to skip. He was beginning to feel inspired again. He began to write listening to the calming noise of the flowing water.

Ethan's imagination ran wild with more ideas and continued to write with joy. They moved on to their next location after he had a page full of notes. Y/N found information about an old, abandoned sugar mill that she suggested as their next stop. Y/N held Ethan's hand and led him around the empty space of lost history. When Y/N finally let go of his hand he started writing again. His writers block was slowly fading away.

Before Ethan could even say he was tired Y/N pulled him along to one last stop. As the sun was beginning to set they came to the long boardwalk. Ethan could barely take his eyes off the amazing colours in the sky so he scribbled down a quick poem.

Y/N hugged his arm and cuddled into his side while she watched him write. She noticed that his writing wasn't just about the sunset or the lake or even the sugar mill. They were all about her.

Ethan compared the glorious, bright sunset to how she lights up his life. How she danced around the sugar mill with a graceful presence and even when she tripped she was still charming. Her laugh echoing off the walls and twinkling like starlight. How the lake sparkled just like her eyes.

Ethan Nestor loves poetry, but he loves Y/N more and she was his inspiration all along.
