Setting Up Camp
------------------
Adam's POV
------------------
"Does everyone know how to fight?" I asked. Everyone nodded yes and I grinned.
Perfect.
I walked over to where Jerome, Mitch, Jason, Ian, Quentin, Ty, Josie and Seto were standing. They were talking amongst themselves and Mitch grinned when he saw me.
"Adam! You're the exact person we need!"
I stood beside Ty and looked at Mitch quizzically.
"Why?"
"We're discussing army plans, how we're planning on winning this war, training, ect," Jerome said.
"The Sky Army is completely trained. They're good," I said.
"Alright. The Bacca Army is completely trained as well," Jerome said.
I chuckled.
"Is that what you call your army?"
He grinned.
"Yep."
"The Dead Army is ready to go," Ty said.
"Is everyone ready?" I asked.
Seto grinned mischievously.
"I have a little something to add to this," he said. He waved his hand and around him stood an army of cloaked people.
"Meet the Sorcerers," Seto said.
"You have an entire army of people with magical powers?" Josie asked, dumbfounded.
"Yes I do," Seto said proudly. "Plus, they're completely trained as well."
I grinned.
"Perfect. Anyone else have surprises up their sleeves?"
Josie suddenly became very interested in her shoes and we all looked at her.
"What do you have to offer, Josie?" I asked.
"Well, I didn't think it would be very much help, but I found out that I could communicate with wolves and I rallied a bunch of them to help us fight," she said quickly.
Everyone in the group's jaws dropped.
"You have got to be joking," Mitch said.
Josie shook her head.
"Bring them here, then," Jason said.
She grinned and whistled a very high pitched whistle that made us cover our ears. When she stopped, she stood still and waited.
Suddenly, a group of wolves ran into the lobby and straight up to Josie.
"This is my army," she said shyly.
"Cool..." Quentin said. He bent down and petted one of the wolves, who wagged his tail and grinned.
"So, are we ready to go?" asked Ian.
"The Benja's are!" Mitch said, grinning. (That's what his army is called, btw).
"I think we need to pep-talk our armies and attack when we're ready. Everyone needs to be prepared," I said.
"Good idea. The Stars and I will make camp," Jason said. He walked towards his army and he led them out of the hub.
"Alright, we'll each make our own army camp and make some plans and we'll attack as soon as possible," Jerome said.
We all gathered our armies and left the hub. Everyone in my army paired up with someone and they set up camp. I pitched my tent and set up a cot and a chest for some of my stuff.
I stepped out of my tent and looked around. Tents with budder trimmings were being raised into the air. It reminded me of Narnia and I grinned.
This was my army.
------------
Ian's POV
------------
My tent was all set up. My cot was in the corner and my chest was beside it. My backpack was on top of my chest and everything was organized.
I left my tent and walked around. Some people were hammering tent poles into the ground or tying open the doors to let air in.
One of my friends, Lancypooh (or Lancy for short) came up to me.
"Hey Ian!" he said cheerfully.
"Hey Lancy!" I said. I had made him the General of the Army.
"The training grounds are ready for recruits," he said.
"Good. Start calling people in," I replied.
He nodded and jogged off toward the small training arena that we had built.
I heard the horn that signified the beginning of training and I grinned.
Everything was pretty good!
As I walked back to my tent, I saw a recruit running past me to go to the training arena. She was holding an iron sword and a bow. A quiver of arrows was on her back and she was grinning.
"Hey Ssundee!" she said as she ran past.
"Hey!" I replied, returning her smile.
I was glad to have such awesome recruits.
------------------
Mitch's POV
------------------
I stood in the new training grounds and shot a training dummy with my bow. I felt like Katniss Everdeen.
Jerome's camp was right beside mine, so we shared a training ground. Jerome was standing beside me with his axe, hacking a dummy to bits.
Once the dummy was dead and Jerome was covered in stuffing, he turned to me with a massive grin on his face.
"Well, that was very successful."
"You're insane, biggums," I replied as I shot my dummy in the face. I collected my arrows and put them back in my quiver.
Jerome watched his recruits train with axes and he grinned.
"So many people with axes. It's beautiful, Mitch."
I laughed.
"Yes it is."
I slung my quiver across my back and put my diamond sword in its sheath.
"I'm going to go eat something. Wanna come?" I asked.
"Will there be fish?" Jerome asked. I nodded and his eyes lit up.
"Then let's go!"
Jerome and I left the training grounds and walked to my tent, where I grabbed three raw fish for Jerome and some baked tater tots (potatoes) for myself. I took two water bottles from my chest as well and handed him one.
We walked outside and sat outside my tent.
"Cheers," I said to Jerome as I raised my bottle, "to our armies."
It was a good day.
