Twisting and turning, a labyrinth a maze

some walls are chipped, and others are razed

And at the center, a castle sits

Dark and decrepit it's barely lit

The moat long dry, A shattered sky

The shell of a fortress that once brought joy

She sits on a throne it's faded and black

With portraits that show only what she lacks

Her smile is false, her tears long dry

With all things lost why should she cry

You go to bow, but she shakes her head

Why show respect to those long dead

A shattered moon hangs in the sky

She sits and stares at the endless night

You enter the garden of dust and death

You sit and wait with baited breath

It is there you wait for endless hours

Sitting in the dust that once was flowers

You head inside to see where she sat

But all that's left is a throne faded black

There are no stars hung in the sky

A single tear stains your eye

You take to the throne that you have earned

You wait and watch to see the world burn
