Chapter 2- Uncomfortable Company

You looked at the Impala and wondered, how are all of us going to fit? It made sense that it would be cramped, seeing as there were five of you. You figured Cas would just want to teleport there, but you also knew that Amber wouldn't be too keen on letting that happen.
"Hey Amber, how do you think we're all going to fit in the car?"
"I uh, have no clue. But I have a few ideas." She smirked.
You rolled your eyes playfully, in addition to being in a confined space between two sets of what anyone could count as some sort of frustration, you knew something was going to happen on this drive. But it was up to you if it had to do with you.

"Alright, you guys good to go?" Dean asked as he walked out of the bunker, Sam at his side and Cas following close behind them.
"Of course." You nodded.
You looked at Cas who seemed worried...You could only assume it was because of the car space. Hell, if he even knew about the issue we were going to have, it could only be bad.
"Cas, just meet us there. It'll be too crowded with all of us." Dean argued, getting into the driver seat. Cas nodded but before he could do anything, Amber grabbed his arm half-hazardly.
"Please stay. Y/n's small and we'll make room." Amber pleaded.
I roll my eyes. Thanks for thinking of me, best friend. You thought.
"Ok..." Cas trailed off, getting into the Impala slowly. He left the door open and observed Amber very closely as she peered down at him.

You sat down in the seat behind Dean so Cas could sit behind Sam without complications. It also made it easier if you grew a pair long enough to make a move on Dean. So that was a bonus.

You glanced at Amber, you then realized what she was planning. Oh god, Amber. Don't do it. You begged in your head. This could go wrong very quick and you weren't entirely sure you wanted to see the aftermath of her actions. A few seconds later, she slowly sank into the car, and onto Cas's lap. He froze immediately and you mentally face-palmed yourself. God damn it, Amber.
"I think I'll sit here, if that's alright with you?"
You tried your best to look away, so you quickly looked around the car. Apparently Sam and Dean felt the same as you, they couldn't look away from the scene unfolding before them either.
"Yeah...that's..fine." Cas stuttered.
"Well, alright then" Dean cleared his throat. "Let's get going then"

You wanted so badly to see the situation unravel, but at the risk of looking creepy, you kept your eyes trained on the window to your left. But damn it, It was so tempting to look, part of you knew this story wouldn't end well.

Keeping your eyes out the window was not as exciting as you hoped it would be, flat land. As people would call it: It was the kind of place where you could watch your dog run away for 5 days...and still be able to see him. So keeping your eyes transfixed on the window was not easy, but you kept at it.

Twenty minutes or so passed, you couldn't really tell. But that was your best guess anyway, Sam finally spoke.
"Did you bring dresses like we asked?"
"I thought Dean would have told you, but yeah. We did." You added quickly, thinking that Amber wouldn't exactly be in the talking mood at the moment.

"Ok, you two..." Dean trailed off. Without even looking, you knew who he was talking about. "It isn't prom, so don't mess up my baby. Because I'm not cleaning it again."
"Again?" You leaned forward in your seat, stretching your arms around the top of the seat. "When did you have to do do that to begin with?"
"Baby has more uses that one, alright?"
"I bet you tell that to all the girls who have been in this car. Or to you do they only have one use?"
Sam started laughing as Dean scoffed at your comment. "Ok, now that was uncalled for."
"But oh so true?" You smirk, glancing at Sam who started laughing harder.
"I will not answer that." Dean replied bluntly.
"So in other words...yes." You leaned back in your seat and finally mustered the courage to glance over at Amber.

In retrospect, that was a very...very bad decision. As you would have thought, and you were sadly correct...she was slowly grinding on him. Poor Cas. You thought. He seems scared, but that didn't seem right. Shocked sounded better.

You looked away and noticed Sam looking at you, he nodded in the direction of Amber, silently asking what they were doing. You leaned forward as best you could and explained in a soft whisper what was happening. Dean had overheard you and rolled his eyes.
"You wanna sit up here with us, Y/n? Save yourself from that." Sam offered. Dean smirked and nodded slowly. You knew what could happen if you sat in front...But you also weren't exactly interested in sitting in the back and becoming a sex pillow. Didn't sound the best, and besides, If he tried anything, Sam would get pissy for sure. You thought, weighing your options. The best option was indeed sitting in the front. But...you decided that you'd wait until things got out of hand.
"I'll take you up on that offer. But when only when stuff back here gets to be too much." You smiled.

Then came the horror you hoped wouldn't happen. Or rather, wouldn't be heard. You heard a small moan, and you jerked your head to the right. Oooo, that son of a bitch, stop torturing the poor man. You sympathised. Dean pulled the Impala to the side of the road and turned around in his seat.
"Alright, alright. This is not gonna happen, you two are getting split up."

Minutes later, you were now seated between Amber as Cas. You felt bad, no one like the cockblock. Now you had to be one.
"Way to go, Y/n." Amber huffed, folding her arms over her chest.
"Me? What the hell did I do?" You demanded an answer.
"You jus-"
"Enough, both of you." Dean argued. "I will switch the seating again."
"To fuckin' what? Sam sitting back here? Please." Amber rolled her eyes.
You sighed. You loved her to death but damn, when she wanted something...It was impossible to take it from her.
"No, I wouldn't put him back there." Dean calmed down a bit, thinking about what he would do was my guess. "I would make Sam drive, and you would be sitting up here and I'd be back there."
"Yeah, because that will solve the problem." She sighed, clearly annoyed by this.
"Can you shut up for two seconds?" You elbow her, looking out the front window moments later.
"Don't hate me because it's true." Amber retorted.

You loved Amber and Cas, really you did. But you hated the situation, you really hated it, with a passion. You were happy, hell, ecstatic even, that the pair was finally showing an interest in each other. Although...It would have been better if they showed their new-found affection, In just the comfort of each other, and not in the uncomfortable space of everyone else.

A thought crosses your mind...You've wanted to hook up with Dean for some time now, and he's made it very clear that it's happening when you're done with the hunt, what's the harm in starting a little hell...a little early?
You leaned forward in your seat again, it was very tempting to say something to him...but it was also difficult considering the amount of people in the Impala. Instead of saying something, you decided it was best to tease subtly, give him a taste of what's to come.
Stretching your arms across the seat, you waited a few seconds before letting your hands lightly graze his hair, playing with it in the process.
"Y/n?"
"Yeah?"
"Why are you playing with my hair?"
You smirked, but didn't stop. At least he hasn't told me to stop.
"Hey, It's not my fault you have nice hair." You try to defend what you were doing. Though his hair was really only half the reason, the other half was seeing how he would react to it.
"Well-"
"And you were mad at me? How the hell is that fair?" Amber interjected.
"This is different, alright?" You argued, tugging on his hair accidently in the process or arguing with Amber.
"Woah, hey." Dean gasped slightly. "Might wanna not do that while I'm driving."
You let go of his hair. "I'm very sorry." You apologise, blushing in the process. You go to lean back in your seat seeing as what Dean said was a good point. I probably shouldn't while he's driving. As you pull back, you feel him grasp your hand.
"That doesn't mean go away." His voice sounded gravely...But then again, we have been driving for quite awhile. So you mistook it for being tired.
"Y/n, I swear to Chuck...If you don't make an actual move, and stick with it...I will stab you." Amber harshly whispered to you, gripping tightly on your free arm.
"Correct me If I'm wrong, but didn't you just say how annoyed you were that I was making a move, and you couldn't?"
Amber huffed aggressively, rolling her eyes in the process. "Just fucking do it. It's a pain in the ass seeing your best friend drool over a guy that's just within her reach. Literally."

"Alright, we're gonna pull up just ahead. It's still a long drive." Dean spoke suddenly, slowing down the Impala.

Pulling to a small rest stop, everyone pooled out of the car, Amber assuming her teasing on Cas, who was staring off absently into the trees.

"So-" Dean trailed off, standing closer to you than he needed to. "What does your dress look like?"
"You'll just have to wait and see, Mr. Winchester." You smiled and looked down at the ground.
"Hm...Mr. Winchester? I like it."
You looked up, and saw that Dean was mere inches from your face. A full reminder of the event in the bunker appeared freshly in your mind.
You're a real walking tease, you know that?
"So I've been told." He replied, a smirk playing on his lips.
You stood frozen for a few seconds. You didn't really think you said that aloud, but...you sadly must have. Your face turned red, and you wanted nothing more than to leave this whole situation behind you and forget it never happened. But you were not so lucky.
"I know. But it's true." You admitted, wanting to cover your face from the burning blush.
"Oh I know-" He grabbed your hands and held them tightly. "-But that just makes this more fun."
You tilt your head to the side, confusion hits you like a train.
"Makes what more fun?"
"This-" Dean leans in, and It felt like nothing you had ever had.

You were beginning to like this hunt more and more by the second.
