I was on one of the look-outs when I felt a blast of wind behind me. I looked around hoping it wasn't Skyfall attacking. Instead, I saw something in the distance. It was a black tree that had grown out of nowhere. It was seeping a black fog and something seemed to be inside of it. There seemed to be pinkish-red strings attached to the branches, each holding something.

I saw Static had teleported over as well as Void. I saw someone coming from the direction of Flyars team but I couldn't see who. I think Scarred or Vex, but by the look of it, I think it was Vex. I flew over on my elytra to see what the big deal was.

I came over and saw everyone looking at things hanging from strings. I looked at a little doll that looked like myself. It looked exactly like me, no differences except it had x's for eyes. Was I going to die? This looked like It was depicting me as if I was dead. I looked around at the others and saw everyone on my team had x'd out eyes. I went around the whole tree seeing almost everyone had x's for eyes. Void's doll was completely black. Then there were Static and Skyfalls dolls. They both had x's but... they were pink. A hot pink and they had unusual features. Static had horns and Skyfall had claws. Static and Skyfalls were both black with Statics having small splotches and Skyfalls had cracks. I didn't take any of the dolls back with me but as soon as I got back I told everyone about them. I dont know what happened but something talked. Its voice was like thunder.

Some tree thing appeared and I saw Void teleport over to it. I went over to it and looked around seeing small dolls attached to the strings hanging from the trees. I saw one that looked like me. It was wearing my normal clothes, had horns, and a tail that was made out of rusty wire. I looked down at my own tail which looked exactly the same. The doll was all black with splotches of a darker black. I turned it around and looked on the back. On the back, it read "MumboJumbo"

This isn't my fucking name...

I held my hand up to my head. It was happening again. These images kept appearing in my mind but I dont remember them happening to me. I saw Void look at me with a questioning look. I glared at him causing him to quickly look back at his doll, which was completely black. I took the doll off the string. I used my tail to hold it so I could see what all the other dolls looked like.

"I see you've found my tree~"

I heard a voice. I knew it wasn't in my head. The others around me had heard it too.

"You're all in a war. I know. I didn't expect for some of you to completely change... but its more fun this way~"

What-

I fell to the ground holding my head in pain. Everything hurt. These images kept flashing in my mind. Over and over and over again.

"Ahhh... You~ The soulless one~ Mumbo was it? or Static~ Hmmmmm"

It felt like I had a migraine at this point.

Who was Mumbo?

What is a soul?

Don't I have a soul?

"Ah, so many questions. I didn't expect you to be the most changed. Even Grian still has some of his old self in him... You... You dont have a single bit~ Only pieces and fragments of broken memories~ Things that weren't supposed to be forgotten~ Your... Broken~ Your souls just a sliver~ A small, tiny, sliver~"

"The Fuck did you do to him!"

"I didn't do anything~ He did this to himself~ Why would you even care what happens to him? Hmmm?"

"Because I dont want that happening to me!"

"I see~ Well, I can't do that to you... He did that~"

"How the hell did he do that!?!"

"I honestly have no clue~"

It let out a chuckle. Void could tell that it was lying but choose not to say anything.

Everyone went back to their bases except Static who was layed against the base of the tree so he would wake up later.
