Three

Taking Harry’s measurements was slightly awkward. His answers were dry and short, never expanding on his train of thought- if he even had one. The room was filled with the laughter and conversation of the other four boys, which made the situation less awkward. I finished with Harry and marked down all the measurements. I carried on with the other boys, who were thankfully more talkative than Harry was.

Less than an hour later all measurements were taken and everything was sent off to be made. The boys stayed with me and chatted as they waited for their security guard, Paul, to pick them up. All boys except harry. My phone rang and I answered, only to let the boys know Paul was waiting downstairs. We all said our good byes, but Harry continued to ignore me as much as possible. As I was about to close the door Harry turned and stopped it with his foot, I looked up slowly at his tall frame and made eye contact with him for the first time.

"Is there a problem?" I asked, it may have come out a tad ruder than I intended.

"I- I was wondering if I could have your number- for business reasons… You know" he spoke slowly, he seemed embarrassed.

I giggled lightly and invited him back into my office; I took a small sticky note and jotted down my number as neatly as possible. He took it and smiled at me, his dimples slightly descended and I returned the gesture as he walked out, seeming more comfortable than he was before. He slowly closed the door, and as it shut fully I looked down and smiled.

I didn't leave very long after my incident with Harry; I could confirm that I have been thinking about it all since he left. I gathered my things and ran to the elevator, quickly making my exit before any of my annoying co-workers could stop me. I got to my car and sat my bag in the passenger seat. Right before I was about to start the car my phone vibrated, and I picked it up seeing a text from Harry.

"Hi, Amy! It’s Harry. Sorry about what happened today." I added him to my contacts and quickly texted him back.

"Hey! No, it's completely fine; that was awkward for all of us."  I put my phone down and started the car and drove home.

I didn't turn on the radio today; I decided to just think about what happened- how it happened. Then I remembered my dream and how I had been saved…

I pulled up to my drive way, I thought about the incident the whole way home. I checked my phone and Harry had yet to reply. I tossed it into my bag and got out, locking my car I jogged my way to my front door, where I found my dog waiting for me like he always has.

I dropped my bag and knelt down to him, giving him a light pat. He was my only roommate as of now, which could be lonely at times. But I also had my laptop, so I supposed it wasn't that bad. I locked my front door and made my way to the kitchen, I rarely ate full meals, so I settled with a can of soup to be quick. As I waited for it to heat up I filled champ's dog bowl and set it down for him to eat. He quickly stopped, raising his head and staring at the front door. I watched as he bolted to the door, barking and growling. I got scared, and turned the stove off to make my way to the door, there stood a tall figure.

I peaked through the window and I couldn't believe who was on my door step.
