We stayed in Kenya for 2 weeks after that. Travelling throughout the poor villages to offer our help and money. In the end we managed to raise $35,000.

Harry planned for us to go to Australia in a week, but as of now we were on a plane back to England. I found it harder to leave than I had expected, getting attached to the broken villages we stopped at. But I also had a sense of pride after all we had done for them, and that made leaving a bit easier for me. We weren’t in a public plane going home. The crew had arranged for us all to be on our own plane, saying it would make it more peaceful.

I wrapped myself in a blanket as I slept on the comfortable leather seat. My head rested on the ledge of the window as Harry was had gone to speak with the crew. Falling asleep made the flight go by fast, and kept me exceptionally warm.

Once we landed in London it was 8:00 am. Harry woke me up, and gathered our one large bad before we exited the plane hand in hand. We stopped just off the stairs to say our good byes to the crew, thanking them for sharing the experience with us. We went our separate ways after that. Harry and I went into the airport, bee lining our way through crowds until we found a coffee shop.

“I think we should just get our coffee and go to Louis’ house.” I suggested.

“Yeah, we’ll make it quick.” Harry replied as he squeezed my hand.

The line moved slowly, and boredom came over me. Out of instinct I took out my phone, and went onto twitter. I aimlessly scrolled through my time line until a post caught my eye.

Louis had posted a photo link with the description as “Luna”. I furrowed my eyebrows as I tapped it, and there was a photo of a baby wrapped in a blanket.

It couldn’t have been their baby, they would have called to say something, but they were going to name the baby Luna… This wasn’t happening.

“Harry.” I tugged at the sleeve of his jacket.

“Just a minute I’m deciding what I want.” He raised a finger.

“You already know what you want, Harry look.”

He looked down at me, then looking at my phone. The photo was still on the screen, and Harry held the same expression as me once he saw it.

“I’m going to call him.” I nodded. “Get my coffee please; I’ll be in that booth.”

Harry nodded, and with that I went to the small booth. I placed my elbows on the table as I held the phone to my ear, the buzzing noise on the other end irritated me as it rung too many times. Through the final rings Louis finally answered me, in a cheery tone.

“Hello?”

“Where are you?” I asked.

“Oh Amelia, are you back in England? We’re at the hospital.”

“I am, and why are you there?” I knew exactly why they were there.

“Alyssa had the baby early.”

“And you didn’t call me?” I shot at him. “She’s my best friend and you didn’t call Harry or I?”

“How was Kenya?” He counter questioned.

“Shut up, Louis. Give the phone to Alyssa.”

I heard the shuffling of his feet at he handed the phone off to Alyssa.

“What?”

“Liss, why didn’t anyone call me?”

“Louis said he called you and Harry.”

“Well he’s a liar because I didn’t get any phone calls.” I bluntly spoke.

“Amy, I thought we agreed on no more problems.”

“We did but he seems to be causing them. This is serious, this is such a big event and I wasn’t even there because he didn’t call me.” I shook my head.

Harry walked at and placed my coffee in front of me as he sat across from me.

“Did Louis call you at all when we were gone?” I asked Harry.

He took his phone out from his pocket, before he pulled out his call list and showed it to me. As expected there were no phone calls from Louis.

“He didn’t even call Harry.”

“Can you two just come down here?” She sighed.

“We’re leaving now.” I said before I hung up my phone, dropping it onto the table in front of me.

I placed my head on my crossed arms as they rested on the table and let out a sigh. I sat back up and looked at Harry, and he gave me a sympathetic look before placing his hand on mine and rubbing over my knuckles.

“He didn’t even call.” I shook my head again.

“How long ago did she give birth?”

“I didn’t even ask, all I know is that we need to go now.”

Harry nodded and grabbed his cup. I did the same, taking our suitcase behind me linking my arm with Harry’s. We walked towards the front, and a fair amount of people were gathered around the doors. I cursed under my breath as we neared the exit.

“I want to drive.” I said as I looked up at Harry.

“That’s fine.”

As soon at the doors opened, screams rang through my ears and my arm became tighter around Harry’s. We smiled at them, me not being able to wave with my hands preoccupied, and continued our way to the car. I praised Harry for parking close to the door as he opened the trunk and handed me his cup so he could place the suitcase in the back.

He shut the door and took his cup again, placing the keys into my hand as I went towards the driver’s side. Harry and I were quickly to get on our way to the hospital, as it wasn’t very far from the airport. As of now I was very frustrated and desperate to get on my way to the hospital. I was hiding just how upset I was with Louis for not telling me, this was an all-new low for him, as if he could get any lower. I concentrated on the slightly icy roads as the radio played softly in the background.

“Amy could you not?” Harry said as he pushed his hair back.

“What? I didn’t do anything…”

“You’re biting your lip, stop.” He blushed.

I laughed at his embarrassment as I turned back to the road, shaking my head at his strange request.

“I may continue, now that I know how much it bothers you.” I winked at him.

“Don’t do that either.” He smirked.

One of Harry’s songs came onto the radio, and I took the opportunity to block him out. My hand left the steering wheel as I reached for the volume, turning up the band’s music and singing along. Harry shook his head as he smiled at me.

This carried us all the way to the hospital. I parked the car near the door again, and we were lucky to find such a good spot in the full lot. We got out and it was basically a replay of the last time we were here, only Alyssa was now set on another floor. As much as i was filled with the excitement to meet the new baby, i was feeling awkward about how everything had played out, and the fact that Louis had tried to hide this from me, or to make me look bad to Alyssa. We made our way up and found her room. I insisted that Harry walk in first, saving me from some tension.

“Hello!” Harry cheered as he stepped in.

I waved from behind, coming beside Harry as my fingers tapped over the top of his hand.

“I’m surprised you showed up.” Louis said as he cocked his head to the side, shooting me a glare.

“Louis.” Alyssa and Harry said in unison.

I shrugged as I let go of Harry’s hand, walking to the seat beside Alyssa’s bed. I scooted closer to the bed, taking her hand in mine as I pouted at her.

“I would have come earlier if someone had told me, I promise you.”

“I know, Amelia.” She nodded.

“I did call, why are you lying?” Louis piped.

“You didn’t call me.” Harry said.

“Yeah well I was meant to call her, not you-“

“And if she didn’t answer why didn’t you call me?” Harry cut him off.

“I assumed you wouldn’t answer either.”

I shook my head as I looked back at Alyssa, “How many days ago was this?”

“It was only yesterday.”

“Damn it, Louis.” I spat. “You know how important this is to me and you couldn’t take two minutes out of your life to call me?”

“Are you mad?” He scoffed.

“Is that a rhetorical question?”

“No…”

Harry widened his eyes at me from behind Louis, and I immediately backed off, redirecting my attention to Alyssa.

“How are you feeling? Where’s the baby?”

“I’m sore.” She pouted at me. “She should be here any minute now; they took her for a checkup.”

“I’m so mad no one called me.” I quietly spoke to her.

“I’m mad that he didn’t call you.” She said the words as if they had a horrible taste. “He’s taken this too far.”

“Truly.” I agreed.

Soon enough they wheeled Alyssa’s baby in, and handed her off to Alyssa. My hands cupped around my mouth as I took in the sight. Harry stood beside me as Louis went to the other side of the bed and eyed me, although he was the last of my concerns. Harry rubbed my back at I adored the small child in her arms, hesitant to take her into my own.

“Amy I know you won’t drop her.” She assured me.

I stood from my chair, leaning over the bed to take hold of the baby. I carefully cradled her in my arms as I took my seat again, Harry now sitting beside me as we both gaped down at the baby. She was an exact replica of Alyssa, holding very small pieces of Louis. The only thing I had recognized of him was the nose. Her hair was a light shade of brown, holding only small hints of hair, it was a very warm colour. SHe slept in my arms as her lips slightly parted with each small breath. My heart fluttered at the sight, taking her in completely.

“Oh my god.” I whispered as I looked back up at her. “You made a thing.”

“Stop freaking out.” She laughed. “I have a question.”

“Okay.” I nodded as I placed the baby into Harry’s arms, smiling at his soft expression.

“We were wondering if you two would like to be her god parents, since you’re my best friend and Harry is Louis’, it just feels right.”

“Really?”

“Really.” She smiled back at me.

I looked over at Harry. A smile was now playing on his face as well as mine. He looked over at me, looking for my approval. I nodded, smiling at him as he happily agreed to take on such a bold role with me.

“We’re hoping to get her baptized in a few months, when’s good for you?” Alyssa asked me.

“I leave a little after Christmas, but I can always leave for a few days and then go back.”

Alyssa nodded, “Wonderful.” She smiled.

“I want to hold her.” I said to Harry as I held out my arms.

He turned his body, placing the baby softly into my arms. It amazed me how incredibly gentle Harry had become when surrounded by an infant, although it was expected, it was something that I though was wonderful.

I held the baby in my arms as she woke up, blue eyes lightly squinting up at me. I cooed at the sight, a big smile plastered onto my lips as I looked down at her. Harry scooted closer to me, placing his arm protectively around my back as we both looked down at the baby. The shutter of a camera caused us to both look up, Louis holding his phone up as he smiled at the screen.

“That’s going on twitter.” He announced.

“Is it a good photo?” Harry asked.

Louis nodded as he flipped the phone towards us, showing us the photo he had just taken. It was now going to take the place as my favourite photo of Harry and I. It was always the unexpected ones that held such a special spot in my heart. I looked over at Harry and smiled as he placed a kiss to my temple.

“What did you name her?” I openly asked.

“Luna.” Alyssa answered. “She’s sharing both of our last names.”

“That’s beautiful.” Harry said.

“You’ve done such a good job.” I praised.

“Thank you.” She blushed.

After a long while, I handed Luna back to Alyssa. I looked at my phone and noticed we had been there for three hours. Alyssa had told me her parents were coming to see the baby, and that they flew in late last night. I took that as my queue to leave, giving them some family time together. I hugged her good bye, kissing her cheek as I stood on my toes to reach her on the high bed.

I waved to Louis, and linked hands with Harry. Soon we were on the long drive back to our house. It felt so good to say our house, it made me feel that much closer to Harry. It was a sense of security and love I had never felt with anyone else, and I wouldn’t want to feel it with anyone else but Harry.
