PS I MIGHT EDIT THIS TOMORROW IDK

I tensed under his harsh grip, looking up at a very enraged Louis. He pressed up against me, not breaking eye contact, making my heart race as my anxiety rose. I wanted to scream for Harry, feeling incredibly threatened.

“Get away from me.” I spat, using all my force to push him off me.

He shuffled back, keeping his distance but not breaking the glare.

“Text Alyssa and tell her you were lying, say there was no dinner or I swear to god Amelia, you don’t want to know what I’ll do.” He said through gritted teeth.

“No.” I said as I looked down at my arm, red now rising from Louis’ harsh grip.

“Amelia-“

“Do not call me that.” I sternly spoke. “This isn’t my fault, stop dragging me into your issues.”

I shook my head as I turned away from him, walking back to the table.

“I’ll ruin your relationship with Harry.”

I stopped with his words, standing there for a moment before turning around. My heart pounded in my chest with his final threat, sending me off the edge.

“No you won’t.” I scoffed. “Try it.”

I kept my composure, walking back to the table, it being my only safety. I so desperately wanted to have Harry hold me on our couch beside the fire, telling me everything would be alright. He was always right when he promised me things would work out, and I needed that right now.

I took my seat beside Harry again, turning around to check if Louis was still there. He wasn’t.

I took a deep breath and held it in as I turned back around; Harry was now looking at me. I gave him a convincing smile, before looking down at my arm again. The skin was slightly raised; finger marks lined my tattooed forearm. My other hand went up to grip it, but Harry stopped me.

“What happened?” He quietly asked.

“N-nothing.” I pressed. “I think the soap irritated me, that’s all.”

“We’ll talk about this later.”

I opened my mouth to protest, but decided against it. Louis walked back as Liam, Sophia, Niall, Zayn and Perrie were getting up to leave. I got up and hugged them good bye, swapping numbers with Sophia and Perrie, promising that we would go out some time before Christmas to shop for the boys.

Soon enough they were on their way, and the three of us were awkwardly sitting. I avoided conversation by texting my mother, asking her how she was and how her travelling was going. As of now she was home in Canada, but was set to fly out to South Africa in a few days. Harry and Louis quietly spoke, keeping to themselves as I stayed quiet. I got into a pretty deep conversation with my mother, she said that champ would be arriving tomorrow instead as she had to leave the day after, making me far too excited. She told me about the business and how it was taking off, saying that it was now in 6 countries around the world, which only meant a bigger profit for her, which I was proud of. I remembered when my parents first started that business, only having a small office in our little town, and soon enough within a few years it blew up, and was spread across the country. I didn’t understand it at the time, but it basically shaped my family to what it is today.

“Amy.” Harry nudged my side.

I looked up at him; he was already standing, putting on his jacket.

“We’re leaving now.”

I nodded, putting my phone back into my bag before slipping into my jacket, leaving it open. Louis walked in front of us. Harry came beside me, taking my hand in his as he kissed my temple.

“We’re driving him home.” He mumbled against my head. “I don’t trust him to drive.”

“That’s fine.”

Still very much affected by the incident that happened a few minutes before, I thought I kept it together very well. It gave me anxiety to think of how Louis was starting things with me, and threatening my relationship with Harry to get me to cover up his lie. But one thing came before the other and Alyssa was far more important to me than him and his lies.

We walked out the doors, greeted by the cold wind, as we walked the path again and went to the car. I let go of Harry’s hand when we split off to our sides. I went to the passenger side, only to be stopped by Louis.

“Actually, I’m sitting in the front.” He childishly said as he gripped the handle and slipped into the seat.

I groaned as I walked to the back, getting into the car and taking off my heels. Harry didn’t seem to mind my replacement for the drive, and I couldn’t complain, the seats were bigger back here. I mostly kept to myself as the two talked in the front. My back hurt as I leaned against the window, keeping in my whimper I tried to otherwise distract myself by scrolling through twitter. It was a rather peaceful ride to say the least.

“And I think, you’ve made a huge mistake.” Louis slowly spoke.

“How so?”

“Because now you’re engaged and you’re going to be held down.” He waved his hands. “See, I don’t understand why you can’t just be single. I know I would be single right now if it wasn’t for that baby.”

I dropped my phone back into my bag as I looked at Harry in the rear view mirror. His eye quickly darted to Louis and then back to the road.

“Mate-“

“What? It’s true.”

I stayed quiet as he vented his feelings about his current situation. I wasn’t totally sure if this was the 4 glasses of wine speaking, or if it was his true thoughts, but either way it was something that you don’t say, especially with me in the back seat.

“You shouldn’t be complaining.” Harry looked at Louis at he stopped at the red light. “You have a loyal girlfriend and a baby, at least Alyssa can put up with your shit.”

“But you see-“ Louis coughed. “You see, you can leave whenever you want, I’m stuck.”

“I don’t want to leave her. If you didn’t like Alyssa so much then why did you get her pregnant?”

“Don’t bother with him, he’s drunk.” I softly spoke.

“I don’t care. He needs to hear what everyone else is too afraid to say, sober or not.” Harry snapped.

I sat further back in my seat, “He won’t even-“

“Stop talking, Amelia.”

“I’m just saying…”

“Don’t.”

I sank into my seat with Harry’s response. I wasn’t offended, just taken back really. I kept to myself again.

“Her career is going to end as quickly as it started and then she’ll be using your money.” Louis started.

“Are you kidding me?” I yelled.

I sat there defenseless as Louis ate into Harry’s mind, trying so desperately to make him see me in a different like. But here I was trying to keep it together, and there was Harry, not defending me the slightest.

“Don’t even act like you don’t already know, it was your plan the whole time.”

“You don’t know anything, you-“

“Amy, I said stop.”

“Yeah Amy, stop.”

“Louis, shut up.” Harry breathed. “We’re turning onto your street now.”

I blinked away the frustrated tears as I texted Alyssa saying we were nearly there and she told me to come inside, and that the door was open for me to come in. I agreed just as Harry pulled into the drive way. I got out without warning, holding the front of my dress as I ran up her steps to the front door. I quickly opened the door, closing it behind me.

“Liss?” I called out.

“In here.” She softly answered.

I followed her voice to the sitting area, where she sat with Luna. I took a seat beside her, giving her a sympathetic look before she panned down at Luna, awake in her arms. I wasn’t going to tell Alyssa what Louis said about being with her, and only staying because of the baby, at least not right now. She was too broken, exhausted from the constant lies Louis had been telling. I wished he would stop, for her sake.

“Dinner wasn’t even that good.” I shook my head. “The salad was soggy.”

“Soggy salad.” Alyssa smirked. “Gross.”

“I would have come here if I knew you weren’t coming, we could have eaten ice cream and stuff.”

Alyssa opened her mouth to answer, but closed it once other voices entered the foyer. I followed her gaze to Harry and Louis at the door, keeping a blank expression as I turned around.

“Will you be alright here?” I urgently asked, placing my hand on her thigh. “We have spare rooms.”

“I’ll be fine.”

“Come over tomorrow?” I almost begged.

“I will.” She nodded. “Right in the morning.”

“Perfect.” I smiled back at her.

We both got up, walking to the foyer where Harry and Louis were. I turned to gently hug her as she held Luna before I looked at Harry, nodding at him. He patted Louis’ back and said his good byes to Alyssa before we made our way out.

I had left my shoes in the car, which was a stupid idea as I saw the snow begin to fall. Harry had his hand placed on my back as we went down the stairs towards the car. Without a word we got into the car. I crossed my legs under me and sighed as Harry pulled out of the driveway.

I felt bad.

I felt bad for Alyssa and Luna, I felt bad for myself. I was basically stuck in the middle of their indirect bickering, Louis lies and Alyssa find out, somehow I get in between without meaning to and Louis threatens to ruin my relationship. It was glorious honestly. I knew this was going to happen right when she got pregnant and he flipped out, I knew right then and there.

It began to really snow once we got on the highway back to our home.

“Are you mad?” Harry asked, both hands on the wheel.

“No.” I was just irritated that I wasn’t allowed to speak and your best friend was bashing me. Not mad.

“You’re mad.” Harry concluded. “Look I didn’t mean to be rude.”

“It’s fine.”

“Amelia.”

“What, Harry? I said it was fine could you drop it?”

Harry stayed silent after that, continuing to drive as carefully as possible. I wished he would hurry up, my only desire being that we get home so I can rip off this dress and go to sleep. We got off the highway, finally, and we were about 20 minutes from home.

Just 20 more minutes you can do it, Amelia.

I placed my head on the window, closing my eyes but not falling asleep. It was peaceful in the car, not even the radio was on. Not a sound was made, except for Harry’s foot on the petal. I began drifting to sleep, almost forgetting about tonight’s incidents until I felt the car slow down, then come to a complete stop. This rode had no stop signs, or lights…

I opened my eyes, sitting up fully before I looked over at Harry. He looked back at me as he turned the signal on, putting the car in park.

“What are you doing?”

“I can’t concentrate, you’re mad.”

“You’re kidding, right?”

Harry shook his head, turning in his seat to face me. He took one of my hands in his, rubbing over my knuckles as he softly spoke to me.

“He’s wrong.” He shook his head. “He’s so wrong. Everything he said about you was wrong, and I’m sorry I was just so frustrated-“ He took a quick breath. “I shouldn’t have told you to stop talking. I just couldn’t concentrate with you being upset like that, completely avoiding me.”

“It’s fine.”

“Tell me why you’re mad, please.”

“Because he was saying such horrible thing about me, and us and the last thing you did was defend me, no, you didn’t even do so much as defend me.” Tears brimmed in my eyes. “I’m being dramatic.”

“You aren’t.” Harry took my other hand, “You’re right.”

“He scares me.” I softly spoke. “He really scares me.”

“Why?”

Do I tell him? Do I tell him about what he did to me?

“I went to the bathroom, and when I came out he- he was there and he grabbed my arm and pushed me against the wall.” I ran my fingers over the marked skin. “And he pushed me against the wall and he threatened me, and told me that I had to tell Alyssa I lied, that there was no dinner.” I shook my head. “I said no and I pushed him off, and I wanted to go back to you so badly.” I looked up at Harry, his face full of concern, and over powering anger. “He said, ‘I’ll ruin your relationship with Harry’”

“Don’t cry, baby.”

I couldn’t help the tears. It was tonight that really sent me off the edge, after being engaged to Harry I was scared to lose him, I was scared that Louis would hurt me. No one else seemed to see the over powering Louis that I had, the one that made my heart pound with fear when he glared at me. ‘He’s just jealous of the relationship you have with Alyssa.’ Harry’s words replayed in my mind. Jealousy was a dangerous thing.

“And my back-“ I shifted. “My back hurts.”

“From when he pushed you?”

I nodded my head.

“We’ll look at it when we get back home, sound good?”

“Yes.” I looked down at our hands. “I’m sorry for being dramatic.”

“I’m sorry.” He repeated.

I looked up at Harry, his eyes scanned my face. I so desperately wanted to kiss him, his face being illuminated by the full moon.

“Kiss me.” I begged.

A playful smirk came onto his face as he lifted his hands to my face, leaning over the middle and brushing his lips against mine. Smiling fully at my annoyance.

“Don’t tease.”

Harry complied, kissing my lips numerous times, pressing heavy kisses on my lips as his apology. Which I accepted.

“Take off your dress.” Harry said as he unzipped the back.

I pushed it down, keeping my back to him as he looked at my pained area.

“Harry please be careful.” My voice shook.

“I will, love.”

He had a light hand down my spine, stopping midway as he reached my sore area.

“It’s kind of swollen.” He said running his fingers over the long area.

I hissed at the contact, whimpering as I brought my hands to my mouth.

“I’m sorry.” He kissed my neck. “Go lay in bed, I’ll get ice.”

I nodded as he walked out, and went straight to our bed. Luckily Harry and I had undressed beforehand, and I had taken off all my make-up, throwing my hair into a bun. I pulled back the thick sheets, slipping in and laying on my stomach as I waited for Harry to return. I put my arms under me, turning to face Harry’s side of the bed.

I heard him come up the stairs and enter our room, coming onto his side. He got on and sat on his knees as he leaned over me slightly, holding the ice pack.

“It’s going to be very cold.”

“Okay.”

I held my breath as harry placed the ice on my back, flinching slightly as it came in contact with my back. I exhaled as it was fully placed on top, and Harry came to lay beside me.

“It’ll only have to be there for a few minutes.”

“It’s so cold!”

Harry laughed, his dimples becoming extremely prominent. I placed my hand on his cheek, running my thumb over the indent. Harry only watched me as I examined his stunning features, my favourite being held on his cheeks. I adored when he broke into laughter, his dimples sinking in, giving a great form of definition to his face.

“What are you going to do?” I softly asked, Harry now pushing himself closer to me.

“What do you mean?”

“With Louis, what are you going to say to him?”

“I don’t know yet.” He sighed. “Just don’t worry about it, okay?”

“Okay.” I whispered.

My hand came down over my exposed chest as I looked away from Harry’s eyes, aiming down to the tattoos on his arm. I traced the deep black heart, sliding up to like cursive A. I adored his tattoos completely, each one of them. There wasn’t one that I wasn’t completely in love with. I thought it had something to do with the fact that they were on Harry’s body, or maybe their placements. Whatever it was I loved them as much as I loved Harry.

“I miss your mom.” I sighed.

“Me too.”

“We should go see her soon, I’m sure she misses you too.” I nodded. “When was the last time you called her?”

“When I got home from tour.” He shamefully answered.

“Call her now.”

“But-“

“Go.”

Harry groaned as he got up to get his phone off the dresser. I watched his back muscles as he reached for his phone, how they moved and flexed. Harry’s body never failed to put me in awe, finding myself lost in thought.

Harry slipped back into the bed, staying on top of the covers as he dialed her house number. He set the phone on speaker, holding it near his mouth as she slipped under the covers with me. I shut my eyes as I listened to the phone buzz as it called her phone. Once she answered Harry’s face lit up, and I covered my smile. His mother always made him so happy, which was expected with the bond they had, but I think with him being away from her so often made talking to her only for a few minutes that much more special.

“And how’s that Amy of yours?” She cheerily asked.

Harry looked over at me, smiling as he answered, “She’s good mum. She said yes, by the way.”

“You’ve proposed already! Oh congratulations Harry.”

“Thank you.” He bit his lip. “When do you think we can come down?”

“Anytime really, we aren’t busy.”

Harry looked down at me, raising his eyebrows at me.

“Maybe after tomorrow?” I quietly asked.

“After tomorrow is alright, right mum?”

“That’s perfect, just enough time to prepare!” She giggled. “Is Amy around?”

“She’s right here, want to talk to her?”

“Sure, just quickly.” She agreed.

Harry handed the phone to me, keeping it on speaker as I raised my hand over the covers to get it, holding down the duvet to keep myself covered.

“Hi Anne.”

“Amy! I haven’t seen you in so long, how’ve you been, darling?”

“I’ve been good, how’s everything over there?”

“Very well, except for the snow. It just won’t stop will it?”

“I’m used to it.” I chuckled.

“So, we’ve bought your album. Wonderful job, darling, we’re very proud.”

I pouted up at Harry, feeling my cheeks come to a blush at her supportive words. I’ve only met Anne two times, which is sad to say but I was just so busy. I was so thankful that she liked me, and that she actually supported me enough to buy my album, and listen to it.

“Thank you so much, you didn’t have to do that.”

“You’re basically family now.” She pressed. “We’re so happy to say that.”

“Thank you, Anne.” I yawned, instantly cupping my mouth.

“Well Miss Amy, I think I’ll let you get to sleep now. I’ll see you in two days, alright?”

“Alright, good night.”

“Bye!” Harry shouted.

Anne stifled a laugh, “Bye, loves.”

I hung up, giving Harry his phone back. I pushed myself up, wanting to turn, instantly regretting such quick movement as I fell back down. I drew in a quick breath as my hands covered my face, hiding it in the pillow.

Harry took the ice of my back, lightly rubbing over the area to put me at ease. I drew in a quick breath each time Harry made contact with my sore area. He placed kisses on my shoulder blade as he lightly massaged my back, keeping me distracted from the pain.

I asked him to stop, only wanting to lay with him. He listened to me for once, coming to lie beside me again. I turned on my side to look at him, squeezing my eyes closed as I did so. The pain had gotten much worse since it happened over an hour ago, but I was hoping by morning it would be gone, that I could be put at ease tonight as I slept. Harry came closer to me, our chests now touching as our noses rubbed together. My hand went to his head, softly scratching at the curls at the back of his neck as I kissed the side of his mouth.

“You aren’t wearing a shirt.” Harry stated.

“Good observation.” I nodded. “It’s always so hot in here.”

“The sheets are just heavy.” He nudged my cheek with his nose, placing his head in the crook of my neck.

“Harry?”

“Hmm.” He hummed.

“Why does Louis hate me?” I rubbed circles in his shoulder. “Like, what did I do?”

“I don’t know.” He sighed. “He’s been harsh to everyone for a while now.”

“Since tour, right?”

“Yes, since tour.”

“I just don’t understand, I don’t know why he would to this to me.” I shook my head. “Have I ruined your relationship with him?”

He took his head out from my neck, pulling back slightly to look me in the eyes. His brow furrowed as he examined my face, only finding traces of worry.

“No Amelia, don’t believe what he’s saying. He’s ruined it himself by doing this stuff to you, and by being rude and obnoxious.”

“But I think that I triggered it.” Guilt washed over me as I thought of the relationship Harry and Louis once had, feeling like I was the reason for everything coming apart so quickly.

“You didn’t, I promise you did nothing.” He ran his thumb along the shell of my ear. “Has this been worrying you?”

“Yes.” I whispered. “Greatly.”

“I need you to know you didn’t do anything, you didn’t trigger or create any of the issues between Louis and the band, or Louis and I. You have nothing to do with this.”

I nodded my head, looking back up at Harry. His lips slightly parted before shutting again, lightly squeezing his eyes shut as he shook his head.

“Harry.” I placed my hand on his jaw, his eyes darting up at me. “Please don’t do anything stupid, please.”

“He hurt you, Amy, your back is swollen.” He shook his head for what seemed like the hundredth time. “You have no say in what I do.”

“I’m just afraid.” I crossed my arms in front of me. “That’s all.”

“You’re safe, I’m here.”

I nodded my head as Harry pulled himself close to me again, our chests brushing together as my hands fell at his torso, draping over his ribs. Harry gently reached over, dimming the lights before relaxing again. His nose brushed against mine again, my eyes falling shut as he did so. His lips came to mine, placing a soft kiss on them before he came back down to my neck, kissing my sensitive skin before he rested his head on my shoulder.

“Go to sleep, baby.” He whispered. “I love you.”

“I love you.”

My night consisted of over thinking situations, and back pains. Harry fell asleep way before I did, his soft breath being blown onto the back of my shoulder. I wished he would have stayed awake a while longer, only so I could talk to him about everything I was thinking, he always listened to me.

I woke up after Harry, but he remained in his spot as he waited for me to wake up. I woke up as I usually did, wrapped in Harry’s arms. I stretched my arms up, my back feeling less painful, thankfully, and turned around to meet Harry’s gaze.

“How’s your back, princess.”

Princess, my heart clenched.

“It feels better.” I nodded.

“That’s good.” He ran his fingers over my shoulder. “I have to go out today.”

“Where?”

“Just to the gym, maybe some shops.”

“Okay. Alyssa is coming over soon anyways.” I sighed as I sat up, covering my chest with my arm. “I’m going to the bathroom.”

I picked up a sports bra from the dresser, slipping it on. Harry’s face remained buried in the pillow as I walked into the bathroom. I used the facilities before washing my hands. I turned around, looking in the mirror to get a glimpse of my back. Completely shocked at what I saw I called Harry in. A long line of blue covered my spine, as well as around it. It almost made me sick to see what exactly Louis had done to me.

“What is it?” Harry asked, poking his head through the door.

“My back.” I breathed.

Harry walked towards me, turning me around to look at it for himself. I watched him in the mirror as she shook his head at the sight, clearly holing in every ounce of anger he had.

“This is bullshit.” He spat. “This should have never happened to you.”

His hand went to his hair, pushing it back out of frustration. I turned around to meet his gaze, my hands running up and down his arms as I quietly tried to calm him. I told him that I was alright, that it didn’t even hurt, which was a complete lie. I wasn’t okay I was scared, and it really did hurt. The last thing I wanted to do was have him worry for me, but I think we’ve already passed that level.

I left the bathroom, putting on a comfortable shirt and jeans. I went downstairs and made myself a slice of toast before feeding and letting out Ruffles. Doing so only made me remember that Champ was coming today, and I quickly dialed my mother’s number to find out what was happening.

She informed me that the plane should be landing at around three, and that I should be there a little bit before. She said that everything was sent with him, and someone would bring him, along with all the supplies to me, once I told them I was there and showed some ID. I was excited, very excited to be reunited with my first pet after such a long time.

Harry came into the kitchen, grabbing a protein shake from the fridge before coming over to me.

“I don’t know when I’ll be back.” He sighed. “I’ll call you.”

“Sounds good.” I nodded.

Harry leant down and kissed my forehead, then walked away.

“That’s all I get?” I said, stopping him before he reached the door.

He motioned for me to come over to him, arms open after he did so. I got up from my seat at the table, taking my plate with me and putting it into the sink before I walked to Harry and went into his arms. His arms draped higher than they usually would, being aware of my back pain as the rubbed over my shoulders. I got on my tip toes and placed a kiss on Harry’s lips, causing him to hold the back of my head to keep me in place, deepening the kiss. He pulled away, kissing my nose before I got back on my feet, standing in front of him.

“I’ll call you.” He repeated.

I nodded my head, pecking his lips once more before sending him on his way. I watched him get into his car and leave, feeling as though he thought I was truly naïve.

HARRY’S P.O.V

I pulled up to Louis’ drive way, parking my car and staying seated for a moment, thinking through my plan. Amy had told me not to do anything stupid, but I was doing just that. I wasn’t about to allow him to hurt her like that, and I knew Amy was keeping her pain to herself, I knew it really did hurt.

I got out of my car and walked up the steps to Louis’ home, not completely fuming, but decently mad. I knocked on the door, and waited a few moments before I heard footsteps. I knew Alyssa had already left for our home, as her car was absent in the drive way.

Louis came to the door; he didn’t look hung over which I was thankful for.

“We need to talk.” I crossed my arms.

“Come in.”

I walked in, staying in the foyer of his house not wanting to go any further than this.

“You hurt Amy.” I started. “You don’t even want to see what her back look like, Louis.” He gave me a blank stare, almost seeming lost. “Why the fuck did you touch her.”

“I didn’t do anything.”

“She told me you pushed her against the wall, and threatened to ruin our relationship.” I almost yelled. “God damn it Louis, when are you going to give up? Let go.”

“You’re going to believe her over me? Again?”

“She wouldn’t fucking lie about this Louis, her back is all bruised and last night she could barely move. Are you trying to tell me she did this to herself?” I shouted.

“That’s exactly what I’m saying.”

“Well what you’re saying is wrong. I know her, Louis, She wouldn’t do this.”

“You know, I remember when you said you’d never let anyone get between our friendship. That seems to be happening right now, doesn’t it?” He bit.

He was trying to get me on his side, and I truly wasn’t taking sides on this conflict. But after seeing Amy physically hurt I couldn’t stand by anymore, he had to know.

“You’re causing this; you’re the one who started this with her because Amelia is completely fine with all the other boys. But you constantly pick fights with her, and you’re scaring her now. You’ve ruined this friendship yourself, this is all on you.” I snapped. “If you do so much as breathe her way, Louis, I swear to God I’ll kill you.”

I didn’t give him a chance to answer, turning and going out the door, slamming it behind me. My only destination at this point was the gym, hoping I could find some relief in working out.

LOUIS’ P.O.V

I wasn’t expecting Amy to tell Harry about my forceful nature towards her last night. But now that she had done so I couldn’t be the one to ruin things. I had my last and final resort on my mind, knowing they would know exactly what to do to Amy.

I took out my phone and quickly dialed the number, now making the situation far more intense.

“Hello?”

“I have business that needs to be taken care of, and I need you to do it. I’ll pay you.”

“And who does it involve?”

“Amy Lee.”

AMY’S P.O.V

Alyssa left only an hour ago, and as of now I was on my way to the airport to pick up Champ. Harry hadn’t called me since he left, which I expected. I put on my jacket, fixing my hair and putting on my sunglasses before I grabbed my bag and left the house. I got into my car and drove to the airport, far more excited that I should be.

Once I got there, crowds were covering the doors, inside and out, instantly regretting that I tweeted about coming here. I cursed under my breath as I parked my car, putting on my glasses and getting my purse. I stepped out and walked towards the door, trying to lay low so I could get things finished as quickly as possible. My plan was easier said than done, as when I walked through the crowd I was quickly recognized.

Luckily no one was grabbing me, but they were sure yelling Loud. I waved at them, quickly walking inside. I went to a desk, asking where I was supposed to go, and they quickly led me to cargo. Everything was far more complicated than it should be, as papers had to be checked to fully allow Champ in. They led me to the Air Carrier, and showing me to his cage. I walked up and knelt down, opening his cage as his tail hit against his tight confines. Once I opened the door, he jumped out, placing his paws on my shoulders as he proceeded to lick my face. Happy yet slightly disgusted I stood up and grabbed his leash from my purse, putting it onto his collar. I was then lead to where his supplies were sent in. As there were too many, they sent two security guards with me, one for carrying the supplies and another for back up.

I was surprised at how quickly I was in and out, and I found myself out in the crowd again. Champ wasn’t the type to jump on anyone in such crowded conditions although he had done it once. I warned the guard, telling him to keep an eye out. The last thing I would want is to have another incident where he jumps on someone.

I shortened the leash as we reached the middle of the crowed, keeping Champ close to my body. I still waved at the crowed, smiling as they took photos. We finally got to my car, people still following behind. I thanked the guards as they set everything in the trunk of my car. The soon left and I put Champ into the back seat, pushing through the paparazzi to get into the driver’s side. I had to drive slowly as they crowded all around my car, putting their cameras up to the windshield as I drive, their flashes blinding my covered eyes.

One of the guards came in front of my car, causing me to come to a quick stop as my car was covered in paparazzi. I locked the doors and slightly panicked as I honked the horn for everyone to move. As if on cue, my phone began to ring. I dug into my bag, pulling out my phone. Harry’s photo flashed on the screen, and I quickly answered.

“Where are you?”

“I’m at the airport, but they’re crowding my car.” I sighed as I drove further up.

“Honk the horn.” He ordered.

I did as he said, slamming my hand on the horn and keeping it there. They immediately backed up.

“No get out quick.”

I sped out as fast as I could without crashing, and as expected, Harry was right.

“I’ll be home in a few minutes.”

“Alright, hurry I made food.” He cheered. “Well, I picked it up but it’s the thought that counts.”

I laughed before hanging up and making my way back home. My back was still sore and I was missing Harry, but through all of this I was also extremely happy. In the back seat of my car lay a sleeping Champ, who I missed so dearly. It often amazed me how highly I spoke of my dog, but I couldn’t help it.

I finally pulled into the drive way, parking in my usual spot before grabbing by bag and putting my phone in. I jumped when I heard a knock at my window, turning and expecting Harry but finding someone completely different.

Erik.

I groaned as I harshly opened the door, hitting his chest as I stepped out.

“Hello to you too, Amelia.”

“Why are you here?” I closed my door.

“I’ve been missing you; I haven’t left England since the party.”

“And didn’t a punch in the face teach you anything?” I smirked.

Erik shrugged as he looked me up and down, making me feel uncomfortable.

“Erik, you know you aren’t allowed on our property, don’t you?”

“Says who?” he questioned, his arms coming to cross over his chest. “Your fiancé?”

“Says the surveillance, say the cops, says the sign on our lawn. This is private property.” I pointed out matter-of-factly.

I went to the back door, opening it and allowing Champ to jump out.

“Harry wouldn’t be too happy to see you here.” I nodded, walking towards the steps. “I strongly suggest you get away from here before he sees you.”

“You’re a major bitch.”

“Bye Erik.” I flipped my hair behind me.

“Watch your back.” He spat.

I didn’t know how I was meant to take his remark, but I was taking it as it sounded, which was a threat.

I went to the front door, slamming it behind me as I exhaled most of my anxiety. I was quick to lock the door, checking the window and finding Erik stepping into his car. It seemed like he stared at me for a moment before stepping in and speeding off.

I wasn’t to tell Harry about this, Erik is seemingly harmless at this point. Although a part of me held fear, the same fear I had deep within when I was with him. It was almost like a sense of stress, enough to make my heart pound in my chest. But it all vanished when I turned around, meeting the beautiful gaze of Harry’s eyes.

Things were going to be just fine, I hoped.
