When Kat's best friend disappears across the world for the summer, she's left to fend for herself. Upon taking swimming lessons at the local YMCA, she meets Kaleb, a guy that's trying to be the next Micheal Phelps. 

What starts out as a boring and lonely summer ends in tons of parties, staying at a cabin on the river bank, and cliff diving until the sun goes down. 

But sometimes good things don't last forever, and when Kat is faced with devastating news and the world starts to collapse around her, she must question for the first time if it's easier to sink the swim.
