I opened my eyes and looked around. Something felt strange. I looked at my hands, involuntarily. I pushed up into my knees scanning over my body, but I wasn't controlling it.

I tried to move my right hand, but nothing flinched, and my body began walking to the next room.

Stop! Where are we going? I need to find Kai!.

" Hush. We are going outside."

I quieted down. Who was this person controlling me? This was freaking me out.

I spotted Kai, and immediately began calling out to him, but my boys wouldn't obey. Kai ran towards me, and pulled my into his arms.

Kai don't, it's not me!

Kai pulled back and smiled. His eyes, his touch, I wanted to feel it, but my sensations were no longer mine.

"Kai, the problem has been solved, but there is yet another issue we must address."

"Yes there is, I can't find Yuhan anywhere, or Gaia. Amber is fine, she's back at the barn. After your brother died, those demon things disappeared, so we should probably look for them."

Kai reached out for my hand, and I pushed it away. Kai's expression became both hurt and confused. Those sad eyes, and not a thing I could do about it.

"I no longer wish to be in any affairs with you any longer, or our team. I must focus on my duties ruling, and you are a distraction, I'm sorry Kai."

No, no!

I tried to shove my way out, force myself to move, but it was useless. All I could do was exist here, and watch this new soul ruin my life.

"Alright...Scarletta." I sensed a tone of suspicion in his voice. His eyes eyebrows slightly tensed, showing he wasn't completely convinced.

"Thank, you," I turned and began walking away, but something made me jolt back. My body spun around, and Kai held me very close, analyzing my eyes. Realization struck his eyes, as if he saw my soul straight through the eyes of my body, and he tossed me to the ground. The flash of his sword startled me, and before I knew it, there was a sword at my neck.

"Scarlett, would never let me call her by her real name. Who the hell are you?" Rage pierced his eyes like daggers. But, I could see the fear and desperation behind those strong eyes.

I felt an overcoming satisfaction, but it was from the other soul inside. "She's here, sort of. I've got her soul blocked out right now, but don't worry I'm not the death magic. I'm Celeste. I am the two magic combined into one, and I can give you all the power you ever desired."

Kai's sword faltered for a split moment, and I could see slight curiosity. I couldn't allow her to trick him, whoever this "Celeste" was.

"Yes, Kai, whatever you desire. Why be with a weak, pathetic human, when you can have the most powerful being in the world." Celeste moved her neck closer, and allowed the sword to pierce her, then continued slipping the sword into her throat.

Nauseated, I wanted to look away, but I couldn't. Kai's hauntingly pale face would scar me forever. The fear in his eyes was something I had never seen before.

"You can't kill me, you can't love me, but we could be a team Kai. We can rule this realm, you and I, and change it for the better. I can give you everything Scarlett could, and more. If you are lonely, I could help. I can not return your love, but comfort it. We need nothing but each other."

Kai swallowed hard, his breathing was almost panting. Kai removed the sword and dug it into the ground. Celeste held out her hand, and I sputtered into panic.

Stop this, stop this right now!How could you be so cruel? Stop, this torture!!!

Kai stared at the hand, and I was forced to watch as his hand slipped into hers. I felt burning in my chest, but I wasn't sure how I was feeling anything. Then, I felt a clench in my hand, and it hurt like hell.

Kai forcefully pulled my arm down, and dragged me face to face. "I want her back! Give her back!" I smashed into the ground, then lost control on my body. Celeste shoved me out, and quickly rose up.

"Your little girlfriend is stronger than I thought, I'll give her credit for that. She was able to take back control of her body momentarily."

"What are you talking about?"

"She's still in here with me," Kai went silent. I wanted to comfort him, tell him it was alright, that he didn't know better.

"Can... can I talk to her?"

Celeste rolled her eyes, "Listen, this was just a test. I will give you her back."

"Huh?" Kai sighed with relief, and I would too, if I could.

"I apologize for my harshness, but I have to people combined into me who are very protective of that girl, they wanted to know if you loved her for the power or for love, and you passed."

Two?

"Madden and the Life Magic."

I felt a rush of sadness sweep over. Madden was still alive, and I missed him so dearly. He was trying to protect me, and I was grateful, but certainly did not appreciate the scare.

"Kai you must do me a favor. I will be departing soon, but you will see me again in another life. Please, take care of Scarlett. Madden wishes she be given the life she's always deserved."

"I will," Kai placed his hand on his chest, and suddenly, I felt a heavy sadness overwhelm me, and I collapsed to the ground crying. I could feel again, feel my body, feel the earth. Kai cradled me in his arms, as the tears ran down my cheeks. I was so sad, happy, and tired, all at the same time, and I could barely stand it. But, the emotion I felt the most was the longing, the longing for my brother, my twin.

Later, we found Yuhan and Gaia... making out. I wasn't sure when they had fallen for each other, but it did, and I hadn't even noticed being so caught up in my own romance. So, I'm glad to say there will be a double wedding soon, but for now I was getting my country in check.

Amber went off on her own to help people recover from the damages. Madden had caused quite a mess. Most towns went under siege, and demons had destroyed a lot of the property. But even more so than the damage, there were many deaths. I can never bring those people back.

I no longer have my magic anymore, since it had fulfilled it's purpose. I no longer needed it too, but there was something that had stuck with me that Celeste had said. Something about meeting her in another life. I wasn't quite sure what she meant by that, but it would either be very bad... or very good.
