Phonto {5/5}
The best out there for font apps. It doesn't come with many good fonts, but you can download more at dafont.com. You can do so many things with the text! There's a payed version, but I'll show you how to get the same features using PicsArt.

PicsArt {5/5}
This app can do everything you need it to. I heard superimpose is better, but you have to pay for it. You have to make an account to use it, but that won't hurt anyone.

Pixlr {4/5}
This app is good for overlays and shine. Not much else though. Its similar to PicsArt, but has less features.

Photolayers/Background Eraser {3/5}
Photolayers is for layering photos {no shit sherlock}, it can also erase backs of photos. The background eraser erases the same way. They're okay. There's nothing wrong with them, but they aren't special either.
