App(s): Superimpose

01 | Add an image as your background along with a plain black or white as the foreground.

02 | Go to Mask and choose the masking tool called Bi-Linear Gradient.

03 | Drag the mask until it looks like this;

04 | Double tap and go to Brush masking tool, set the smoothness to max and tick the Soft Brush.

05 | As you can see in the previous image, there's a clear line in the middle, start brushing out the upper side or lower side of the fadeout white.

06 | Merge the image and add your text.
