Hi, Becca!! I'm so sorry this took forever :c Anyway, I have made 2 covers for Emergence! If you like one (or maybe both?) but want some minor adjustments (like "move the title to the middle") let me know and I'll update it for you! If you would also like to exchange fonts (for example, "put the title font of cover 1 on cover 2") that can be done as well.

OPTION 1

I did a feather to represent your OC, since her animal is an eagle! I'm sorry to say that I had trouble finding consistent images to represent Lyla and the six ninja, so I used the same Creation symbol (representing the Ninja team) for both covers. If you find an image you like better, would like it removed, or would like something else, let me know!! :) 

OPTION 2

This one is more obviously focusing on the eagle symbol! As you said Lyla's powers are light, I made the title glow (and of course, the background is filled with sunbeams and some plants-- I thought the plants can represent her liking of flowers, as I believe you have written in your story that she likes to pick flowers? If that's wrong I'm so sorry, I can fix this!).
