I had a day-long inner battle about wether I wanted to go creative and make an original cover or make a remake of the Riverdale opening scene xD I chose the former, and now you know I'm indecisive :P

I saw the other entries but I just can't be as fancy as them, so I'm gonna be lame and write paragraphs instead of formatting it really cool.
Aristotle Paxon. To those who are familiar, just a mention of his name would pique their interests. They'd be sliding to the ends of their seats, their hands tightly clutching the edges of their metaphorical chairs, sweaty with anticipation. The quickened beating of their hearts were not caused by fear, but rather with excitement. We'll get to that in a moment.
The name Aristotle holds superiority in it's literal definition, 'superior'. On the contrary, the definition of Paxon is 'peaceful town'. It was quiet the joke his parents had made, naming their son the opposite of what he really was. They didn't live to see it, a horrible vermin known as cancer claiming their lives, but they certainly knew how their wide-eyed, optimistic child would turn out.
Aristotle was raised in River's Edge, a town whose reputation of lies had rubbed off on him. Lies are what took over his thoughts, actions and emotions. From his inability to come out of the closet, to the daunting murder he committed. He was anything but peaceful or superior, paranoia consuming his very existence, making him the the underdog at school.
Things went right in his life. Maybe they shouldn't have. More on that in a minute.
Above all this was his ability to make anyone laugh, to shield off rude comments with 'savage roasts' as he called it. He overcame his bad reputation by becoming the captain of the lacrosse team, winner of multiple awards for his artwork, and every girls heartthrob.
Depression is not caused by a string of sad events.
Depression is not when you grieve the death of a beloved, nor is it when things go downhill in your life, seemingly without end.
Depression is when life goes well for you, when life goes out of the way to betray it's true purpose and balance. When life does you too many favours.
The stigma behind depression keeps you from consulting others, from getting help. From getting a friend to tell you suicide is not the way. For all the friends he made, Aristotle never got the message.
Unfortunately, only he perceived his loving, grey eyes as dull, boring ones. His beautiful, obsidian black, shaggy hair as overgrown, uncut. His smile, the widest, most genuine one to exist, as faked and forced. Sadly, this led to him taking his life, before he could feel the warmth of a significant other, or the love of his parents, only left to the cruel, foster ones. The final moments of his life were spent tying a rope to a ceiling fan, rather than in the comforting embrace of his soon-to-be devastated boyfriend.
