The book that you will be designing a cover for is a romance mystery trilogy. You will be creating a cover for the first book in the trilogy.

You guys will be learning a lot about this book that you will be making a cover for. I ask you not to share it with anyone unless they are also thinking about trying to make a cover for the book. The book is still in the making, so I ask you not to reveal anything to people other than ones participating in the contest.

I'm sorry if you might want to read the book when it comes out, but you will receive some spoilers in order to make this cover.

Here's the lengthened synopsis (not official):

A nineteen-year-old girl named Devyn loses her family in a car crash after moving to a different state and doesn't have any close relatives. She doesn't have many friends back home, so she continues to go to college in her new state.

(Note that Devyn has panic attacks and flashbacks. She's very self-conscious about this and doesn't like opening up to people)

There, she meets a guy (Jackson) who, at a young age, had leukemia. Just the year before the story takes place, he had a heart transplant as a result of the chemo he had as a small child. He is still insecure about this, and doesn't like opening up to people either.

They get to know each other and help each other come out of their shells. Devyn helps Jackson open up, and Jackson helps Devyn open up. They date for three years.

Soon after their three-year anniversary of dating, Jackson arrives home to his apartment and sees that Devyn has left him a letter. When he reads the letter, it changes everything.

There is the synopsis. I want you to get a feel of the book. As you can tell, the  book is about two insecure people who become friends and help each other so much. They begin dating and bring out the best in each other; they can't imagine themselves with anyone else. That is, until "Devyn's Letter" (the reason for the trilogy title) changes everything.
