After the local news did a section on the academy and the word got out on social media, there were a lot of responses. We set up a certain day for all of the girls to come. Over a hundred showed up, and that was a lot.

As I scanned through the crowd, I saw someone I recognized. It was Vanessa, my sister.

"Nessa!" I exclaimed into the crowd.

"Sarah!" She looked back at me. She pushed through the girls to get to the stairs, where I was.

"So.. You found that you have powers?" I asked.

"Yeah, it's awesome. Watch this," she told me, then made me slap myself. She laughed.

"What was that for?" I asked, jokingly.

"That's my power, mind control. What the word for it-"

"Concilium," I told her. She nodded.

"This is going to be great. Cordelia is interviewing girls right now to see if they actually do have powers or not. Because we definitely can't keep all of these girls. I see a lot leaving after the come out of the meeting room."

"Really? Wow."

"Yeah.."

"Cordelia must be going very harsh on girls," Vanessa seemed worried.

"She probably is.." I nodded, "sorry. But concilium is one of the Seven Wonders and is a very important power. You seemed like you could do it well, too," I smiled.

She nodded and laughed , "yeah. It's pretty easy since I've done it so much and used it on Theo."

"Oh my god, what did he do, like, the first time?"

"He was so confused at what was happening. It was hilarious," she laughed.

"I would've loved to see that."

"I've missed you," she frowned.

"Well hopefully we'll be here together and we'll be in the coven together as witches," I told her, smiling.

"Hopefully," she nodded, but then told me she had to get back down in line since it was soon her turn to see Cordelia.

I walked upstairs to Mali's room to talk to her. I called into her room, and she told me to open the door and just walk in.

"What's up?" She asked. I smiled and answered, "my sister might be staying here at the coven."

"That's great! Vanessa, right?"

"Yeah, that's her name," I nodded.

"That will be great. It'll be the three of us against the world!" She exclaimed, acting as if she was in an action movie with us as super heroes.

I laughed, "yeah, if Delia let's her stay. she's been very harsh on girls, but Nessa's power is concilium, which is a very important power. That's the only one she showed me, but she might be able to do more. I don't know. I'm just so excited."

"Me too," Mali nodded, "it'll be awesome having two of my best friends here. Vanessa and I only met once, but she's great."

"We've always been close. I love her, and I hope she stays."

"I do too. We can get Cordelia to choose Vanessa as one to stay, can't we?" Mali asked curiously.

"We could, but if Vanessa finds out we helped get her in or if Delia knows that we helped persuade the choosing, we'll be in big trouble. I don't want that to happen, so we'll let it be fair, okay?" I asked Mali, and she agreed.

I hugged Mali before walking into my room. I texted mom, saying, "so I see there's a new witch in the family?"

I smiled as I sent the text. I texted Calum too, telling him that Vanessa might be staying with us.

"That's great, babe! Am I allowed to come over?"

"We still have a lot of girls here so no sorry.."

Cordelia wouldn't allow anyone but Queenie, Madison, Nan, Mali, and me in the academy when they were doing this with the girls. We couldn't have Calum over or anyone.

"Okay"

My mom then texted me back, "yeah."

I walked back downstairs to see Vanessa walking into the living room. What was she doing in there? Does that mean she's in?

I walked over to her and asked her. She nodded her head, "yes. I'm staying."
