Chapter 15 - Two Witches

I gave Calum a week. I gave him a week so he could sort out his feelings. I had thought about it a lot during that week, too. I need him back. He makes me happy, really happy. When I'm with him, I don't know if I could ever feel more jubilant.

I made my way to his house, walking like I had last week. I wanted to figure out what I was going to say to him to get him back, if he refused at first.

After I got to his house, I rang the doorbell, because I didn't feel that I had the privilege of just walking in anymore.

Calum came to the door, and right after he saw me, he grabbed my face and brought it towards him. He kissed me passionately.

"I'm so sorry," he whispered, "I've been in hell this past week, not being able to see you."

"Me too," I told him, frowning.

"Take me back?" He smiled.

"Definitely," I nodded. He grabbed my hand and took me up into his room. I wanted to talk about the past week. I know that a week is a short span of time, but if you don't see someone that you're used to seeing every day, that's a lot to catch up on.

"Did Madison tell you about her asking me out?" He asked. I nodded.

"She told me right after she did. She's such a bitch. I had thought she might ask you out, but I knew it was okay because you hate her," I laughed, and so did he.

"I've missed you," I whispered, leaning my head on his shoulder.

"I've missed you too, baby," he stroked my hair, "I've missed cuddling with you and just talking."

"What were you thinking about when you broke up with me?" I had wanted to ask the question for the past week. I finally had a chance to ask it.

"I really have no idea what exactly I was thinking. I mean, I was sort of mad at you because you had put my dad in jail, and one of your friends killed my uncle," he told me, shrugging.

"But they both jeopardized my safety and my friends' safety," I told him.

"I understand that now. I had a week to think about it. My dad and uncle each killed someone. I'm really sorry about breaking up with you over such a stupid thing. And also, I'm sorry that I said 'your kind'. I know how you get with that and I didn't mean it. I was just mad at the time," he frowned, mad at what he had said.

"It's fine. I just miss being with you," I cuddled up to him.

"Me too," he whispered in my ear, lying his arm around my back.

"Will you still be able to be Supreme even though you're dead?" He wondered.

"I think so. Maybe."

"If you couldn't, I would feel so bad that my uncle took that privilege from you."

"I'm pretty sure that if you can preform the seven wonders, you'll be the Supreme. There's only one, though. Fiona has not been doing very good, so we'll probably be preforming them soon. The only one I've never tried is descensum. I'm scared to try that one."

"It'll be alright, I promise," he smiled, "don't worry about it."

I heard footsteps up the stairs. There was a knock on the door before Calum told whoever it was to come in. It was Mali.

"Hi Mali," I smiled at her.

"Hi Sarah.. I heard what happened with dad, and our uncle," she looked at her hands.

"You did?"

"Yeah. I'm sorry."

"It's fine. Don't worry about it."

"The thing is.. I'm a witch too," she admitted.

"What!?" Calum looked at her. I was shocked too. Their dad was a witch hunter and his own daughter was a witch?

"Yeah. On mum's side, our great-grandma was a witch. I've only ever told mum. No one else knows. She's always wanted to sen me to a coven because of dad, but then he would know what coven I was at, so he'd kill all of the witches there. Now that dad is in jail, I was thinking that I could come to the academy with you. I could stay there, and you could sort of be my mentor. I don't know much about being a witch since I've kept it on the down-low ever since I'd found out two years ago."

"Okay. I'd be fine with that. As long as it's fine with your mum. It'll be nice. You'll like it. The girls are nice. But Madison is a little bit of a bitch.. Queenie can be too sometimes. Nan is nice though. Delia is great, and Fiona is the Supreme at the moment. She's not doing well, though, so we'lol have to choose a new Supreme soon, whoever can preform all Seven Wonders," I explained partly.

"I don't know what Supreme is or what the Seven Wonders is, so I have a lot to learn.." she laughed and so did I. I nodded.

"So Calum.. Your sister and girlfriend are witches.. What do you think?" I joked with him.

"I don't mind. I love you both," he smiled, putting his arms around both of our backs, resting his hands on our shoulders.

"I love you too," I whispered into his ear, "but I'm going to go. Mali, want to come with me?"

"Sure," she smiled, and we left for the academy.
